O I
am so
sad now
that she left
for up above.
Twenty years
is a long time
to love a cat,
this sweet.
A kitten came
that fit my hand
all fluffy and purring,
she loved to cuddle
all the long nights.
I held her in my arms
till her body was stone.
And now I go to the place
where I buried my beauty.
I told my friends- no, no,
more cats for this here girl.
They say just give it time!
Oh, oh my- days are empty,
sometimes, I hear her soft
meow call, calling for me,
and that breaks my heart.
  Tears,
        now
          fall
       fall
          fall
        like
          rain
            on
               my
                   new
                       wee
                          cat.

Quiet early morning,
Snuggles so very tranquil
And calm soaks the sun's
Warm rays through the window.
She sits still in peaceful trance
As she sees a breath of
Sheer iridescent
Lavender wings flutter
And land upon a green
Velvet lavender leaf.
A serene low hushed sigh,
A m-e-o-w, rewarding
Inspiration quick stroke,
 The graceful butterfly
  Stirs and flies away.

Echoes of Time

Who made?
The blooming flowers!
The trumpeting elephants!
The magnificent, endless sky!
The being turning against His Word

Pay attention
To the Horn of time
A stone flew out of the night
And I captured...did you?
Landed on the rooftop,
Rattled down like machine-gun fire
Symbolizing...

And behold
I saw lambs
Following a mother goat,
I heard the cat roaring
And the lion purring
Only a few kept their identity

A few took the thorny way
The majority misled
By the pretending Wild Beast
Edging towards flame
Where will one be?
For the Echoes Of Time Are Audible

Love Me To Death But Could You Love Me To Life

seems like all my life ,life has forced me to face demons with
       hand shakes and smiles.
and there came a part of my life seeking answers through personnel
prayers because I was told that in his eyes , I would always be his child.
staring into the stars I would question , eyes full of tears feeling like
only one half of the day I can face my fears and count my blessings.
there was always a dark corner where nobody could see .
where the rest of the world over looks but for one man in this world
           he would find peace.
lost in thoughts from all the wars that's fought and for some reason
I refuse to raise a white flag.
I refuse to sit and wait, I refuse to carry on in a life with the feeling
of being only one half of a man.
sincere voices that would speak of loving me to death but I doubt
those same voices could love me to life.
could a dog tell you the way it feels to think like a cat?
would a coward ever be able to express the way he felt the moment
he chose to stand up and fight?

This Is Brilliant By Free Cee

I’m trying to do something to stop from thinking of only you
But I suppose that’s the only thing a reverent lover can do
I’m staring into space trying to picture your face and that always make me smile
And I hope and pray that will go on and on for an indeterminate while

I’m not certain how long we’ve been together you make time go so fast
And what both of us required was a lover who could make us shed our past

And I recall you picking a daisy for me and blowing off the delicate dew
YOU

Then there were the strolls we’d take with your arm glued to mine
And we’d laugh at the same time over nothing because of some wine
Then we’d head back to our bed in the apartment both of us shared
And I lay down next to you praising the lord of love for having made us paired

Our little cat whose name you chose jumped on the bed but I didn’t care
I’d just hold your silken hand and run my fingers through ebony hair
Just living with you made living worthwhile and that’s the way it should be
But alas, if the truth be spoken you left before you could do all those things with me

Cat and His Mother

Laying there, was not all he
did,

sleeping alone, was not all he
did,

dreaming of his young self, was
not all he did,

crying for you, was not all he
did,

staring into space, was not all
he did,

wanting your love and
attention, was not all he did,

purring in your arms, was not
all he did,

making you worry, was not all
he did,

having a lions heart, was not all
he did,

imprinted love in your soul, was
not all he did,

letting you hold him until he
was gone, was not all he did,

leaving fond memories for your
heart, was not all he did,

letting you say good-bye, was
not all he did,

sharing all this and his love
with you,

is what all he ever did.
