Weightlessness
My soul floats "along with the thunder,"
Saturated with impending rain,
Scattered back throughout the earth,
Lost among ancient ruins and countless seas.

I awaken, feeling hollowness within my quivering heart.
Frantically getting dressed,
The front door blows open—
Listening to its siren's call.

Piece by fragile piece, I must absorb it back into my mortal coil.
Hike through deadly nightshade-tangled forests,
Sleep amongst somber bones in graveyards of contrition,
Push through arid, combusting deserts,
Swim through the waters of paranoia—
Riptides of mentholated melancholy.

Watch as the embers of dawn settle into the ashes of dusk.
Build a golden pyre upon the jaded shale,
Lay my weary bones on the cleansing flames,
Until I rise anew from the ashes,
Never again to be confined within corroded psychosocial cages.

Hissing cars
Swishing trucks
Rumbling bikes
Life is a highway
Really?
Combusting cylinders
Pumping pistons
Turning crankshaft
Spinning flywheel
Engaging transmission
Motoring drive
Tranferring power
Rolling tires
Hissing
Swishing
Rumbling
Crash and burn
Life goes on

The Love On Fire

The birds were flying home
Upon the setting of the sun,
The flowered track lead me back
To where it all begun.

In the twilight of the village;
I glimpsed you paint your nose,
Couldn’t help but spy on you
High on tippy toes.

His graciousness surprised me;
The hunter from the north,
I never thought anything
From this would blossom forth.

This is how I tell the story
Of a man who’s versatile,
The woodsman and the artist
The one that made me smile.

The moonlight sparkled in your eyes
Connection from a glance,
This is when I fell in love
Consuming all romance.

Heart it beat a brand new beat
Combusting rhythmic glee,
This handsome, hot and striking man
Was gazing right at me.

Never been in love before
Happiness to weep,
Emotional, from the fall
Powerful and deep.

Stirring all new feelings...
Passion and desire,
No time again like this time when
You lit the love on fire.

A vampire known as Good Prince Harry
Set his fangs on the Virgin Mary
He took one bite
And saw the light

Like Fire

When you love someone very much;
It burns in you like fire
You cannot seem to cool it down;
Delirious desire

State of mind-That is false,
Though tears may come a-flood…
It quickens as it thickens
Whilst blazing in your blood.

Flaring whilst it’s scorches;
devouring your soul
Meek and mild once you were
Now not in control.

Takes you in your dreaming,
Consciousness is done
Flaming for the gaming
No stopping ’til you’re one.

Heart-is skips a brand new beat
Combusting rhythmic joy
Try your best to cool it down
With a brand new ploy

Though love it takes you once again
With fever and a trance
Tempting you from the norm
To the lustful dance.

Quietly engulfing
Spiralling upward flow
Just to go around and round
For pleasure and such whoa.

Adrenaline Shot

Feel the compression rising
on my combusting engine,
like a turbo button pressed
by the current happening.

The brain then fireworks
into chaotic overdrive,
kick that drops me almost
face down on rushing ground.

In that split of a second
that lasts a horrid century,
I force back the reins.

Focusing this flood of energy
into the eminent task ahead
that assaulted my head.

Our Beginning

Spontaneity sparked combusting
explosives breathed us into existence
earth-shattering plates
magma-filled mounds
shakey quakes
huge wakes
whirling, twirling and swirling breezes
slippery sliding mud
shifting, and shaping
bodies of water
peaky mounts
low and high hollows
vast salty seas
solid massy grounds
sandy entanglements
and buggy cruds!

Phossy Jaw

i recently read
that years ago
many match
workers went on
strike

no pun intended
for they had been
exposed without
knowing phosphorus
would

be dipped with
the sticks they
held in but not
holding their
breath

exposed so
in my trench
coat i'm trying
to show myself
so

as i open and
close my clothes
rapidly acting as
a bellows to blow
heat

upon flames as
my body reclaims
the burning desire
to burst into
flames

spontaneously
combusting with
cigarette in mouth
though i don't smoke
do you have

a light?

Sick Days of the Past

Gone are countless moments
Wasted years spent feeding on toxic fumes
No longer able to recognize myself
The mirror screams
And soon I will forget it all again
My room is far to frightening
Even my bed has goosebumps
I can't even go out anymore!!
I want to collapse into an old rocking chair
To forget this sick that obsesses's me
I'm exhausted
Done with being strung out
Yet, still strung out
Spontaneously combusting
Rearranging the stars
Birthing a whole new sky
While I stare at a clock mocking me
The insignia of suicide
Gorged on the fruit that hangs from the branches
Of a long dead tree sure to eat the body and melt the brain
To much samo samo
Bull dreary neighborhood disease
Walking in broken shoes
Eyes glazed over with a frost manufactured from
Tiny tin bags
No where to run
Left reminded of a permanent picture realm of sunshine
Now left to mold in bags of trash
Stacked to the ceiling
Of a room where I've come to finally die

Oh Ornithological Original Onions Ogling

a = a and b = ? when preceded by a k amswer in 30000 words
A quandary could be said to be quadrilateral in formation but rusted tap thinks that water is very very soothing. Ok then thought the beaker I can fill now. Great. It is never to be said that a static shape is a star or a moon. Nor is it a combusting solar sway. Architect of arc. Ancient arrival. And still the wobbly know it all pan sits half on and half off the ever increasing hob space. Great isnt it? Practice two wobbles in an attic then whirl around flamboyantly. Flailing jumping arms and legs in a mish mash of seasoning. Sprinkled. Now go and paint a pretty flower on a sleeve. Nice. Lovely. And it is in the far reaches that a lot of ornately dressed melons queue to purchase loaves of bread at noon. Haha to all of that. And a curd of curry. Xxxxx ornithological Z z z

Autumn Fire

vivid jade and frolicsome
when summer zephyrs eddy near,
the leaf enfeebles during harvest
so its glow, like emerald,
drains to gaudy saffron hue:
a single, sere lick of flame
	combusting autumn into fire
‘til winter’s hoar grows imminent
and earthward flutters fragile leaf,
	extinguished.

Premium MemberBursting Into Paradise

I try to still my heart
for fear it will thunder
past the gates of mortal life
and burst into paradise…

I slow my ragged breath
as I tremble in time
my body in tune
to this rhythmic rhyme
immersed in the sublime

Eyelids flutter….
struggling to open, to see…
Yet I shut them tight
knowing I might faint at the sight
of the wanton delight
in your eyes!

No….
there's no reprieve….
Seared on the inner screen
is that look
that shattered my secure serenity
into a million shards of desire
and set them on fire
the blaze now reaches higher
licking at my very soul
Combusting again and again
Unchecked….
Untamed…..
out of control…..
Ahhhh….

I…still my heart
I try to....b~r~e~a~t~h~e
I writhe, and I seethe
not wanting ever to be freed
from this need

the truth is born in my moan
as I lose every thought
except….for....this….one

…what is soon to come...
when the universe's fully undone

...will only come to be...
because of the kind of man
    that you are to me

Drop Zone

(contest entered “Make their jaws drop”)

Singing and her little jaw dropping and closing for tune and
amazing melodies enchanting the maize to mature
Fatima was herding the sheep after school
beautiful a child of nature innocent humming

Just one animal at a time nurtured wandering
wondering slaughtered sacrificed in time for food
when water would come for the garden and soul
the thunder approaching bringing gifts droplets of growth

Heaven ignited a lullaby combusting when explosive torrents descended
liquefied imprinted her little mind again and once more

The bombs brought tears and fears desolation
fire shrapnel on impact from Gods of greed and exploitation
Fatima’s tune and prayers stopped in time for sheepish
scattering shattering bleeding disembowelment

Her jaw dropped one final time when the bones crushed
and she and her dismembered jaw fell to the ground

Sensation

What is this thing?
That floats upon the wind,
‘Cause I can’t get enough,
‘Neath grey clouds above.

For it’s magic I feel,
And forever I reel,
Amidst within this,
Strange sensation.

When you smile I fly,
Across the blue skies,
A zephyr through my hair,
Caressing me with care.

You remove any foe,
I have on earth below,
I’m forever gliding,
Towards salvation.

When we kiss I expire,
Combusting into fire,
No sense of pain or hurt,
Yet I could almost burst.

Such a delicate taste,
Fires me into space,
Like a rocket of lust,
With passion emblazing.

Amidst passionate love,
From dusk to dusk,
Nothing else matters,
We spill and shatter.

Together as one,
Our senses undone,
We are meant to collide,
Bursting damnation.

I think you are it,
The one & only culprit,
I’ve never felt this before,
Since you walked through my door.

Now my greatest fear,
Occurs when you’re near,
You are my,
Darkest temptation.
