Rose-Coloured Glasses

The calamity of the world,
The cries of hunger ring so loud,
The wars slaughtering so many—
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.

Wildfires keep burning so brightly,
Lives destroyed all in one big sweep.
Families weeping and searching—
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.

The greed of money knows no end,
Men with egos at the table,
Denouncing the name of the Lord—
My rose-coloured glasses I

Coloured Houses

City walls,
A riot of colour,
Whispering stories,
Lives painted in sunshine,
Blooming.

Rose Coloured Glasses

I want rose coloured glasses,
To watch the world burn and misty mushrooms fill up the sky.

I want rose coloured glasses,
To watch the sun's rays shine from window tops.

I want rose coloured glasses,
To accept my defeated fate in the ruins of the golden antiquity.

I want rose coloured glasses,
To keep breathing through the glass piercing my soul.

Hurriedly they flew into the bright sky
Their feathers glowing underneath the sun
And with their sweet songs
The animals all lay awoken by their voices.
As the day draws to an end
They pick up their harvest
And store them in their nests.
They cuddle their little ones
With feathers that can brighten up the night.
They sleep peacefully and soundly

Looking through these rose-coloured glasses,

Even though I've been told different , 
no faults do I see.

to overlook any little flaws

Before the day turned into night,
When things made sense amid the light,

Coloured Putin
Shoot her full of rainbows
Scythes from heaven
Souls down in Hell
Hundred thousand dead
Mamushka I miss you
Our Leader sent us there

Coloured Dogs

Grey is the dog that haunts and whines;
Whose boredom curls, whose mist entwines;
Whose ennui dulls a lively mind,
Whom inspiration deadens.

Blue is the dog that grips the heart -
Turns melancholia into art,
Who tears the light of hope apart,
And drowns all joy and laughter.

I do not view life through rose coloured glasses

Just choose to look for the positives and let the negatives fly

I know life is not a walk in the park

But dwelling on the negatives will only send my mind awry

A dream of a Rainbow coloured family

In the ocean there is a raging storm 
And a lot of boats 
With rudders that are shattered,
Compasses lost, sails that are torn.
And dreams that are faded or tattered
With hopes that seem crushed or battered
Under the heavy weights of despair.

Pastel
Burnt sienna
Tinged the golden flame-
Reflecting raw umbery on the
Red earth
