Rose-Coloured Glasses
The calamity of the world,
The cries of hunger ring so loud,
The wars slaughtering so many—
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.
Wildfires keep burning so brightly,
Lives destroyed all in one big sweep.
Families weeping and searching—
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.
The greed of money knows no end,
Men with egos at the table,
Denouncing the name of the Lord—
My rose-coloured glasses I

Rose Coloured Glasses
I want rose coloured glasses,
To watch the world burn and misty mushrooms fill up the sky.
I want rose coloured glasses,
To watch the sun's rays shine from window tops.
I want rose coloured glasses,
To accept my defeated fate in the ruins of the golden antiquity.
I want rose coloured glasses,
To keep breathing through the glass piercing my soul.
I

The brightly-coloured birds
Hurriedly they flew into the bright sky
Their feathers glowing underneath the sun
And with their sweet songs
The animals all lay awoken by their voices.
As the day draws to an end
They pick up their harvest
And store them in their nests.
They cuddle their little ones
With feathers that can brighten up the night.
They sleep peacefully and soundly
In the

Rose-Coloured Glasses
Looking through these rose-coloured glasses,
you are the perfect one for me.
Even though I've been told different ,
no faults do I see.
You are the one that I have chosen
so I will try my very best
to overlook any little flaws
and put all doubts to rest.
No one is perfect , so they say,
but you are perfect in

Coloured People
Betty was blue,
She was born that way,
Her friends said you’re funny,
But Betty said “Hey,
All of you are brown, black or pink,
?And that’s far more amusing, or so I think.”

From Monochrome To Coloured Sight
Before the day turned into night,
When things made sense amid the light,
When darkness was a shade of fright,
When I saw life in black and white...
Life in colour brings confusion.
Do I see truth or illusion?
Must transcend mental contusion-
Processing feels like intrusion.
The night compels one now to take
This challenge on for ones own sake.
Learn from success and

BLITZ of coloured words
the soft yellow streaked the terra cotta,
shadowing the speckled sallow saffron
a bluish buff upon the cochineal;
brilliant boneblack
grizzled the engrain
citrine carnation
as
the fallow flaxen,rustic rubrical
rainbow-tinted
the magenta mandarine;
unseen
the ultra-marine, tinged burnt sienna,
reflecting a golden flame of raw umbery upon
the earth green;
bright mosaic gold
mottled the sallow sorrel
virent yellow,oak stained
the pale apricot;
while
blood red,reddish russet
dotted the olive lind;
freckled crimson,

Coloured Putin
Coloured Putin
Shoot her full of rainbows
Scythes from heaven
Souls down in Hell
Hundred thousand dead
Mamushka I miss you
Our Leader sent us there
Not an Odessa holiday
Opposite of that mama
Forgive them all
It's Putin's orders
Hundred thou casualties
Bullet ridden rainbows
Her essence is black

Coloured Dogs
Coloured Dogs
Grey is the dog that haunts and whines;
Whose boredom curls, whose mist entwines;
Whose ennui dulls a lively mind,
Whom inspiration deadens.
Blue is the dog that grips the heart -
Turns melancholia into art,
Who tears the light of hope apart,
And drowns all joy and laughter.
Yellow’s the dog who runs and hides,
Who shrinks from life’s high winds and

Rose Coloured Glasses
I do not view life through rose coloured glasses
Just choose to look for the positives and let the negatives fly
I know life is not a walk in the park
But dwelling on the negatives will only send my mind awry

A Dream of a Rainbow Coloured Family
A dream of a Rainbow coloured family
In the ocean there is a raging storm
And a lot of boats
With rudders that are shattered,
Compasses lost, sails that are torn.
And dreams that are faded or tattered
With hopes that seem crushed or battered
Under the heavy weights of despair.
And we are not able to see each other
Respond,

Verse Freed In Coloured Abstraction
Pastel
Burnt sienna
Tinged the golden flame-
Reflecting raw umbery on the
Red earth
Unseen
A bluish buff
Grizzled a silver grain
Into lavender scented
Shadows
