No Room for Cliques

In God's house, no cliques should stand,
For love was never meant for just a chosen hand.
Where walls divide, hearts drift away,
And precious souls are lost along the way.
God draws us all with cords of love,
His welcome flows from above.
His kingdom is inclusive—wide and free,
A family bound in unity.
Cliques sow discord, not God's design;
They hinder friendships meant to shine.
But where Christ's love is fully known, every heart is welcomed, loved, and brought home.
The cross makes strangers family dear,
Replacing pride with grace sincere.
No seat is saved for just a few,
For Christ has made all things anew.
Let every smile and open door
Reflect the Savior we adore.
For when we love as Jesus did,
No heart is shunned, no soul is hid.
May every church become a place
Where every life finds hope and grace.
For love unites what pride divides,
And Christ Himself with us abides.
Let us reject what tears apart
And welcome all with open heart.
For where true love and mercy reign,
God's glory shines, and lives are changed again.

Cliques

If i were to write aesthetically pleasing
                             ~eye candy poetry~
                  with seemingly empty calorie,
would it not still have artistic value?
                        I see your objection,
                                   painting,
don't get your platinum colors in a bleach.
Your swimsuit issues are still a number one seller.
Your sell of body and lack of prose-
                       always a fashion trend,
                        "The Beautiful Ones".
Why don't you swing your cutesy panoramass
                              over here and...

Premium Member Cliques Can Be Used In Poetry

Ignorance is bliss said the uneducated Miss
Take the tiger by the tail, and then give a hiss.
A snake in the grass thought outside of the box
You can’t judge a book by its cover, said the ox.

Like a kid in the proverbial candy store
Good things come to those who wait said Moore.
In the nick of time there was a loose cannon swarm.
All together it became the perfect storm.

Cliques are like cans of worm said a tiny newborn.
But like all God’s favorite things, every rose has a thorn.
Grandma said, “The apple does not fall far from a tree.”
She was referring of course, to that arrogant baby, Little Lee.

What goes around comes around, Daddy interjected.
That’s the pot calling the kettle black, Mom said, feeling rejected.
No sense in beating a horse to death, said the uneducated Miss.
The grass is always greener on the other side. She blew them a kiss.

There are plenty of fish in the sea, they told Uncle Hank.
But now he felt dead as a doornail, he was sweet on Miss Lank.
He must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed someone said.
If only walls could talk! Hank lamented. His face was quite red.

www.you can’t make me.
www. I won’t do it.
www. shut up.

www. I hate you.
www. why should I?
www. stuff it.

www. I have a brain.
www. get out of here.
www. not on my watch.

I know, you are probably wanting to know what I am doing.
I am looking up possible websites to see if they actually exist.
So far, every single one of these has been taken.
The thing about cliques is, almost everyone uses them.

cherries cluster in their cliques —
bright and plump on crystal plates,

           maraschinos bleached and dyed

The what society?
The I-think-I can-get-you-mad-Society.
Why would I join that?
Come on. It’ll be fun. No one can get anyone angrier faster than you can!
With a compliment like that,
Naturally I filled out the
Application form.
I should know in
A couple of years
Whether I made it.

Cliques

As I see it. When a child is in school if they are shunned the blame lies with the teacher first and the principal secondly.

As we grow to adulthood, we choose friends whose company we enjoy which is not defined as Cliques but "Friends".

I belong to a club with 160 members and I like all of them but when I choose to do things independently, we may go to dinner in a group of 25. Here we laugh, sometimes too loud, and have even been thrown out of a restaurant or two but that's the way boat people are.

There seems to be a lot going on at Soup using the word Clique. I think, in this circumstance, everyone has people they communicate with more than others but that simply means they have more things in common. Just my opinion...

No Cliques In Christ Our Gifts Is Why We Have Life

There are no cliques in Christ.....There is a unique purpose in every life... The church needs
to stop cliquing and neglecting individual gifting everyone has a ministry....He would not
have made us in a His image if it were not the case.... He is our base... We need to
continually seek His face for our purpose and not the cliques.... There are no cliques in
Christ... to serve Him in spirit and truth and to pass it on through our gifts is the main
reason we have life...
