Lugubrious blue mood skies funereal and morose shed raindrops,
they unleash tableau vivant torrent’s wet tranche,
blessing, bane or boon from vault of heaven,
damp pearl blob bewitching moisture mellow morph form,
the stuff of less than benign grumpy weather grouch,
whose plight infuses yen for sun-drenched bliss,
haven of the ultra-violet swathe enthusiast,
for others raindrops are a liquid gem relish firmament bequeathed,
to whet voracious craving of nascent pastures,
whose gaunt green blade emaciating stillborn,
that aqueous honey to hue-blazed floral garden in situ bloomers,
who swallow cloudburst drizzle meed in muted slurps,
droplet streak and spiral bubble patten on top hung awning window,
empyrean tear beads that roof top tap dance ritual,
so tantalising to the awestruck spellbound eardrum,
or impromptu downward dribbles on romantic saunterers,
prompting boisterous laughter as they flaunt their dome transparent chromium truss umbrella,
those enraptured red-blooded refugees beneath tilting gust spun bumbershoot,
as mud splatter cherry cheek urchins shriek,
amid the spray and splash globules at agile finger tips

Premium MemberFitness Hour

On my way to my fitness hour
I met a crow flying with a flower.
In his beak he cradled the stem,
From his talons yellow petals came.

Shiny buttons, chromium whistles,
Collections of many lost treasures,
His nest a museum lacking one thing…
For his royal pleasures, a golden crown.

Premium MemberA Shift To Realism

Over the confines of the cliffs
in a cloud of crystalline haze
in the midst of a tsunami of whistling

skyline shadows in golden amber
hues ooze into the ocean
triumph against craving

waves of fairy spirits
Pearl stone sparkles in sundrops

flying is my passion
I'm diving again
in a wide chasm

sapphire knitting
chromium marble light

optimums prime
upheaval toward verisimilitude
you and my floating rhyme

with an increasing susurrus
a gentle melody is heard

tonal fuzziness
reverberations of rainbow hues
a scarlet choir of classic lullabies

The Elements of Love

The Elements of Love

Hellen, my dear friend,
Rain canceled our plan,
But my heart will not bend,
For I know I'm a fan.

Your honesty, like Gold,
Sparkles through your soul,
Your love, like Silver, bold,
Makes me feel whole.

You're the Oxygen I breathe,
A necessity in my life,
A rare gem, like Cerium beneath,
Your love, like Iron, free from strife.

I appreciate your gentle heart,
A quality of Sodium in light,
Your kindness, like Krypton, smart,
Makes my day bright.

Your way of dressing, like Carbon,
Pure and decent, beyond measure,
Your jovial spirit, like Neon,
Brings a smile and pleasure.

I wanted to serve you like Calcium,
To strengthen our bond,
With a meal so delightful, like Chromium,
Our friendship would grow beyond.

But the weather didn't permit,
So I wait for another day,
When we can laugh and sit,
And learn more about your way.

Hellen, my dear friend,
You're a treasure, like Platinum,
In your company, time will never end,
For in your presence, I find freedom.

Impurities

Corundum,
Naturally occurring
Aluminum oxide,
Second only to diamond
In hardness
Colorless when pure.

Used to make sandpaper
And emery cloth
To smooth rough edges
And round sharp corners.

Add a touch of chromium
And you have a ruby.
Vibrant red gives it worth.
Add some iron and titanium
And you have a sapphire
With its desirable blue shades.

It’s the impurities that make them valuable,
Worthy of a jewelry store showcase
Instead of a hardware store bin.
So it is with people too.
It’s the mixtures and the combinations,
The differences and the varieties
That make all of us
Jewels.

March

Chromium pure
tell me why
we are still
unsure

Polishing new
ivory soft
til it breaks
in two

If it's not real
If no one's to blame
then why does blood
still clog the drain

When machines reveal
the true faces
when the exchange fails
in empty places

We wont deny
how brightly
how blinding
the ichor shines

We can't deny
how real
how monstrously
we were blind

GEM

Pigeon- blood peerless brightest Ruby claims
precious position in the realm of gems.
In gold, purplish red Ruby overwhelms.

Term Ruby owes to Latin ‘Ruber’ or red,
Chromium causes red hue in every shade.
Corundum is the mineral in mine-bed.

             Saturated colors in variety,
‘Cut’ cares for clarity and quality.
Price puts carat weight on priority.

Chanced to visit gem factory, largest,
tempted to buy a genuine stone, but best
bought for my daughter Ruby-set locket.

A Tribute to scarlet Ruby through poem,
My favorite fantastic fabulous finest gem.

Twilight Fades To Dusk

Day's finishing gloss glimmers on horizon's purlieu
Rich orange truffles filter into milky fondue
Fiery sun's last gasps bleed through ethereal flue
With dusk's graying mantle, at steeples' crest
rendezvous
A suspended bridge; Day's beams, Night's seams to glue
A florid banner with singed neon sparks doth preview
Mercurial parade of iridescent colors blending into
vacuous milieu
A brass orchestra; undergirding pit scarlet chromium hue
Gilded conductor melding bright, dark tones into
harmonic stew
Crimson carousels, violet pinwheels hypnotizing medley
brew
Dissonant base strings darker notes on sterile
perimeter queue
Swarming silver waves blight the panoramic view
Dusk's murky yield; brokered shadows accrue
To Twilight's annual, scintillating pageant; bids adieu

purlieu- an outlying area; periphery of a zone,
environment

Chromium Sky

His tears falling

Cobalt Summer

Down there, on the shell-coarse beach in a furnace of sand
The sea writhed and almost boiled at the shore,
Barefoot we walked, with her hand in my hand
No girl had ever driven me more.
She dry-licked her cherry lips and saltily smiled,
Solar flares bursting there in my chest,
The way she moved always drove me wild,
My eyes entranced by her shape in that dress.

The sun stamped in the sky like a chromium plate,
Dripped the colours of butter and steel,
And she stood there the most, the coolest hot date,
So radiant and still and surreal.
When she threw back her head as she lay on the grass
Liquid eyes burning silver and green,
With the parting of lips she gave me a free pass
And the world dissolved to aquamarine.

Seaside

The see-saw backsides of obesity traverse across the promenade
  Led by bustling torpedo breasts thrusting through the hustling throng;
Past tarnished chromium espresso bars, burger vans with frying lard,
Ice cream parlours, sagging deckchairs and the sunlight blazing on.
Splayed upon the greying sands with butts of cigarettes in shallow graves,
Bikini babes in thin floss thongs, sun oil basted, lie and fry,
The effluence of sewage farms foams ochre crests upon the waves,
Cheap sunglasses and tinted shades warp vision as the seagulls cry.
Or are they coughing in the choking rise of hotdog onion smoke,
Or searing blast of diesel oil drove upwards from the fairground sprawl,
And do they dive for fish and chips discarded by the glutted folk
Until cholesterol weighs them down and they no longer fly but crawl?
Oh, I did like to be beside the seaside in the golden memories of my youth,
Before the tattooed mobs and greedy slobs and moguls came to town,
And though rose-tinted, real dreams of childhood wonder sing of truth,
But now I’d much prefer it if they torched and burned the whole place down.

The Nihilist - Seven: Blood On the Moon

Embryos sing saddle-sore sonatas, beneath
the despot eaves of chromium skies, reflecting
black light down upon the harbours where
ambition claws the air and slowly dies; and
nighthawks scream a siren song of sadness, for
all the lovers lost and ripped apart, their
entrails steaming, scattered and decaying, cryogenic
memories still the beating heart.

Somewhere in a paean of pain and passion, eyes
upturned in sockets sear the night, telescope
and zoom into the heavens, ruptured
vessels crack the milky white; for
all the golden graces of the goddess, stealing
and absorbing love and soul, hoarding
with her sadist smiles of sorrow, reaps
the diamond, reimburses coal.

On the moon my blood drips sour and savage, fills
the craters and the fossil seas, scars
the surface dust like crazy paving, packs
the vacuum deserts with disease; on
the moon my blood is frozen solid, crystallising,
still as tombstone script, cold,
implacably cast as death's dominion, to
love no more, enamelled bathtub crypt.

Love Factually

Defining chromium weep and cold-steel whine,
This endless tragedy that is love,
Tripping a corsage of candy entrails and dust-cake,
Streamers across the floors of emotional residency.

So she reposes, pretty with poise, her porcelain chin
Resting on the backs of china hands in style,
All cocked head and upturned eyes, the fluttering lashes,
Cool, ravening scorn flicked upon such as my dreams.

When I kissed the supple nipple of her breast
Above her heart that seemed to beat sincerity,
Erective tissue responded post haste
And I tasted the fabled arousal.

Yet her heart below the skin was cold and still,
A mandible of ashes tapped the rib in time,
So false significance of a heart beating for me
Was no more than her survival instinct.

Love, a chemical reaction, a sugar burst,
Knee jerk feedback of the masculine cock and balls,
What more ugly travesty slavers seed and blood
Across the flesh of all humanity’s women?

And yet, how can it be there is no feeling
More classically heroic, messianic and divine,
More radiant with the power of forever and the stars
That I cannot bear to see it go…?
