"No one dare
Disturb the sound of silence"
Quote taken from the Sounds of Silence by Paul Simon.
Echoes of a lingering quiet time,
When no one hears the bells that chime.
Through the abyss I feel myself falling.
My voice cant be heard, although I am calling.
Silence has deserted me so it would seem.
There are no pins dropping in my dream.
Is this the day they freed the noise?
Dulcet sounds that bring everlasting joys,
Words uttered loud and clear,
Though I implore, she will not hear.
My song is old, bordering on archaic.
Like shattered glass that forms a mosaic,
I need to suppress it and turn it all around,
Stifle the silence and bottle the sound.
The silence is definitive, no volume switch to turn.
The sound infinitive and audibly I yearn.
Into my muted dreams she often sneaks.
Its louder than words when silence speaks.
Its like gold that glistens,
When silence listens.

first a glow and then a glisten
like dawn, breaks forth sticky sweat
an acolyte by solstice christened
droplets form, then rivulets
off the brow and in the eyes
upper body soaking wet
fown the back and to the waistline
hasn’t reached the nethers yet
coming down like salty rain
next, there’s squeaking in the shoes
showing shadows great disdain
sun’s now turning up the screws

Development laps at emaciated canvas
Exponential images whisper a thousand words
Chemical dip shifts generic into candid
Graphic effigy given vigour by a brief submerge
Slippery minutes expand sqare memoir
Retrieved from squalid pool, jumped illustrious
Pregnant with wisdom from an embalm
Faith puts detail on paper basic miscellaneous
Source of light firms fine composition
Blankness bask enables solid ice to effervesce
Supernatural Spirit delivered christens
Fermented parchment finds miracles manifest

Cicada shell needed discarding, fast
Desperately ready for what she will become
Stepping rapidly out of her pitchy past
Towards freshness, her chance to succumb
Wavered mirage solidified as suitable man
Opportunity usually slashed with cruelty
Sigrid's vehemence needed a complete ban
Skin uncovered to reveal her new duality
Kind intentions filled fault lines, offered aquit
Approaching face to face day stirred her
Softer side on show, finally primed to submit
Pleas to release rancid shield heard her
New page turning requires vibrant virgin title
Her odd request, capable Ace conjured
Renewed endurance from Libby arises vital
Crowned with liberation, love pondered
Dazzling effect flung her mortality's motions
Scope to partake in romance unafraid
Libby's demeanor walks as waterfall, potion
Christens her effusive decision made

I spread my blanket under the trees
And marvel at the fickle breeze
It takes a turn, from warm to cool
To soothe my brow, as I lie down
I nap among the shady groves
Awakened by the scent of rain
One little drop, then down it pours
And like a child who plays outdoors
I'm christened now in nature's eyes
And laugh at summer's sweet surprise

(This verse is written hristened Dayon 23 Sep. 2011 remembering the occasion of my Loving Daughter SUZANNA CHRISTY’S CHRISTENED DAY)
It is the day she was christened with a name
Which bears the Rock that’s built on Glory
Whose matchless love being showered each moment on her.
She was brought in the arms of His servants
Whose prayers caressed the infant’s soul
To grow in the Lord with His Wisdom and Mercy.
She was laid in the cradle of prayers and blessings
And a great congregation of friendly stars offered its light,
And the happy blooms fluttered around the infant.
She looked happy and with full of smiles,
And every moment of hers penetrated his heart
That he took paint and brush to draw her enthralling portrait.
He read a poem penned on her, and the little soul smiled in joy.
God’s servants proclaimed her with the name ‘SUZANNA CHRISTY’,
For she hath been God’s Gift answered to their supplication.
The little soul winked its eyes and whispered back ‘THANK YOU, CHRIST.’
He heard the little soul’s voice of joy and they shouted back ‘THANK YOU, LORD.’
