Upon witnessing the abrupt sunbeams
Waves anew in the two ancient ponds
Bears and stallions from the black frame
The major sixth chord in the piano

Your words, a double-edged sword,
Sometimes pierce like an arrow's chord,
Other times, they surface like a wound,
Leaving scars that forever resound.
Every step, like shifting sands,
I walked, veiled, with heart in hands,
Through your streets, where complaints did turn,
To hatred's form, and love did burn.
The whispers of our home's demise,
Scattered like leaves, with fading sighs,
I doubt your words, O preacher true,
Tell God, from His throne, to intervene anew.
Thousands of rebellions rose,
Yet not a single movement showed,
The cups were shallow, I confess,
Friendships were fleeting, a moment's caress.
Waqar, I've survived the stormy night,
The bonds of blood, a wrathful blight.

Snippets
of the truth
being a
little bit pregnant
In the
promise
of a dream
eternity sleeps
Freeing
tomorrow
with each moment
recaptured
All time
in an instant
as the music
— begins

Fingers so sore from learning the chords,
Getting the rhytme without knowing the words.
It all sounds so good here in my head,
Blood from my fingers turning the fret board red.
But I've got to keep trying, just carry on,
Or the thoughts that inspired me will be lost and all gone.
I've got to decide on the ideal key,
And think about where the verse and the middle eight will be.
The words that I write will probably change,
They all have to be within my own vocal range.
Some songs take ages and some not so long,
But eventually I will have another hit song?

If the past is not alive in you
the future will be dead
Sparrows turn to flee the dawn
with yesterday unfed
Once memory breaks the golden chain
foundations lay unpoured
And silence breeds the only sound
— to play tomorrow’s chord

The Resurrection
Will give you direction….
To play the chord for the Lord
And sing out His Word, The [S]Word
His grace has no delay
His pace will play…..
The chord for the Lord
And sing out His Word, The [S]Word
His eyes too pure to look upon sin
He keeps His promise to bring you in….
To play the chord for the Lord
And sing out His Word, the [S]Word
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
And the Gospel goes with the beautiful feet
To play the chord for the Lord
And sing His Word, the [S]Word

When music strikes a chord inside
furious do emotions churn
Though peacefully we sleep once home
in dreams for more we yearn...
Let anger possess us, however
even a moment or two
our insides duly toss and turn
as all we've constructed burns

Hottest month, the roads are dust
Gardens are drying up from drought
I’m talking about this 2022 August
Sun beating down with a heavy clout
Mercury thermometer’s about to bust!
August is the hottest ever on record
Global warming is undisputedly real
The U.S.’d better join the Paris Accord
Despite what conspiracists may feel
The world must sound a unified chord

In the prolific dainty world of Angel's dreamlands
I rule with the boundless mercy of God's dominion!
From the rosy haze of a million viable heathlands,
Out of the disorientation of a protracted illusion.
I rule with the boundless mercy of God's dominion!
Like a bee that discovered honey on rocky ground
Out of the disorientation of a protracted illusion,
Or a poet who got his heartbeat amid war sound.
Like a bee that discovered honey on rocky ground
Accuracy was comparable to divine intervention,
Or a poet who got his heartbeat amid war sound
Art is a reflection of a more profound perfection.
Accuracy was comparable to divine intervention
Like birds, they return after a lengthy humid time
Art is a reflection of a more profound perfection,
And a grin might transform into a severe mime.
Like birds, they return after a lengthy humid time,
From the rosy haze of a million viable heathlands
And a grin might transform into a severe mime
In the prolific dainty world of Angel's dreamlands.

Do it before it is too late
You belong to your purpose even
If a river of darkness heads your way
Stay glued to your direction
“Locate the problem
Find a solution
Strengthen what you have
Do it before it is too late”
Fight the night
If things do get tight
Shine a bright light that
Will change your sight
The passion of your goals
Can be your strength so
That you can go that extra length
Chase your purpose
If you are in a daze
Raise your expectations
So that you never get bored
Strike a chord with destiny and
Let your gift feed humanity even
If a river of darkness comes your way and
Remember, you belong to your purpose!

Take from this life whatever it may offer
Opportunities will come you least expect,
Many gifts and talents fate will proffer.
Spend time building a healthy self-respect
Cling to those values that merit reward,
Opportunities will come you least expect.
Melody is important, but so the major chord
In your life events try to find synchronicity,
Cling to those values that merit reward.
Challenges often come in quiet simplicity,
Many of them help us set personal goals
In your life events try to find synchronicity.
Keep in mind we are all individual souls,
Involving ourselves in projects which bring joy
Many of them help us to set personal goals.
Avoid making of life a complicated ploy
Take from this life whatever it may offer
Involving ourselves in projects which bring joy
Many gifts and talents fate will proffer.

Noah built an ark, David danced before the Lord
He slew Goliath with a stone all in the name of God.
Joseph had a treacherous time, condemned to die in jail
yet rose in stature, name and fame to see his dream come true
his brothers who had hurt him so, bowed down and did not know
that this great man was the one they maimed
their brother, flesh and blood.,
Esau sold his birth right, all for a plate of soup,
he did not know the price he'd pay, that sad and sorry day.
Jacob worked for seven years to claim his only love
yet Laban did not keep his word - poor Jacob he was robbed.
Sampson fell before Delilah revealed his source of strength
yet had a mighty power surge, and took his own revenge.
Many are the great men, who walked and served the Lord
stumbling, faulting, just like us, but there's one thing that they knew: whatever happens, bad or good, just trust in God above
His faithfulness is our strong reward, His Word the strongest Chord

The world as we know it, is way ahead
Of what comes second, good words we should spread
Let's all climb aboard
Strike a happiness chord
Let's all do our best and make it our pledge
