Does Mother Moon Sleep
Last night I fell into a deep sleep,
my cat precious slept with me.
I could swear that old Mother Moon,
slept with us, I swear, it’s true.
Mother Moon she’s truly wise,
but she get’s tired, I surmise.
The thing that puzzles me the most,
when she’s asleep, how does she glow?
Perhaps she’s playing a trick on me,
I wonder if Precious

The Land of Bedelay
Legend has it, that in the land of Bedelay,
there resides a tribe of Elder, Wood Fey.
Faerie keepers of the Elder trees,
who ride upon the whispering breeze.
The Elder or the Sambucus,
has bred many magical instruments.
Its blackened berries, keep you well;
but red ones sound a true death knell.
And the magic of an elder harp,
played at dusk, just

I Rode Upon a Sea of Dreams
Last night, I rode upon a sea of dreams,
a whale and grandpa rode them with me.
I felt water hit me as I sailed in my bed;
it was only the whale nodding his head.
He splashed all around those waters of blue,
while rays of moonlight cast silvery hues.
The fish, how they danced in and out of the

A Worthy Dragon Is Always Rewarded
Sir Snooze a Lot, a dragon knight,
slept 'neath a mushroom one moonlit night;
it sheltered him from the meteor showers
safely he slept for unending hours.
This 'Shroom, ever so enchanted,
by a wizard it was planted;
in high-pitched hums, ethereal tunes
it sang morning, night and noon.
As he slept, this dragon dreamed,
of someday becoming a dragon king;
so realistic his dream

Bored No More
Little Zoom a very white mouse,
who lived in a humongous house,
single and without any spouse;
but he loved Strauss, but he loved Strauss.
Though he tried to learn how to waltz,
always needing some smelling salts,
his clumsiness was not his fault;
had plenty schmaltz, had plenty schmaltz.
One day he received a scooter,
with red wheels it looked like pewter,
on it

Bellas Unique Reads
I’m Bella the magical kitten,
with Daddy’s writing I am smitten.
while napping upon his journal,
with my talents, supernormal.
I’ll live all his adventures in my dreams,
watching them play out in dreamscape scenes.
Daddy’s not lived a boring life,
though he’s endured a bit of strife.
through these pages I’ll come to know him,
every thought, every feeling and whim.
My new Dad’s
