Come her! Go there!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
Do this! Do that!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
Eat seed! Find nut!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
Have chicks! Make fat!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
Through twig! Through leaf!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
My song! I sing!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
On wing! On foot!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
It must be Spring!
Chiff chaff! Chiff chaff!
The first chirp of the robin near my shut window pleaded
The blackbird, song thrush, chiffchaff, and pheasant pleaded as well.
The sunflowers, cornflowers, and marigolds that needed
Prayed for his help; he was as silent as a silent spell.
Fishes, amphibians, reptiles, and weak invertebrates
Hares, squirrels, owls, puffins, swans, geese, and willow ptarmigan
Lions, leopards, tigers, elephants, and monkeys with rude traits
Prayed; the cosmos seemed as though curled. The sun's silence went on.
As playgrounds were snow-covered, in gloomy moods, children prayed.
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and cousins called. He said:
When I was shining, your minds seemed seismically swayed.
Can't you, when I am cool, with your inner warmth, march ahead?
Winter's whimsies play vehement games on the sun, so sure
Which element of nature, without him, can their wounds cure?
with twittering, tweeting and chirps of chiffchaff
a sublime chime of hope resurrects inside
i,a wild rose, somewhere in the pastures grown
i grow,i alter every day, every hour and minute
Some days are filled with achromatic gloom
making ways for impending doom
To taste death one day,i live many days
each passing moment unite me with tale of yesterday
i am the present, who is past eating future perpetually
standing aloof from miseries and pleasures
that was not the rub-i haven't cared enough
I,a soul,who in the body,somewhere hidden
Birdwatcher
This passionate, keen Ornithologist,
Is an interest, I profoundly pursue.
With the upmost of dedication,
To Black Tern & Long Billed Curlew.
Never a Twitcher, or just an obsession,
Binoculars on hand to observe.
Redstart & Greenfinch, also Reed Bunting,
Come into focus on a birdlife reserve.
Warblers & Wagtails, singing all day,
Sounding so sweet in the garden.
Robin & Chiffchaff scurry around,
That’s my bug meal, if you pardon.
Black Tailed Godwit & Purple Sandpiper,
Great Skuas & Dunlin share low tide.
Petrels & Fulmars, big Herring Seagull,
All I can name from a secluded bird hide
