Whose brainy idea was this
Picture Sign-in? I have to
Squint and adjust, peer
And stare – 2 minutes have
Passed and I can no longer
Tell bicycles from cars
And alien space crafts. Got my
Telescope now set up in front
Of the computer, just for
Sign-in, try as I did I could
Not get the screen to fit on
A microscope slide. If this
Is the way of the future, at
Least get some pictures I
Can clearly recognize, like
Old Playboy centerfolds or
Beer can labels. Just saying.
GQ guy hot and sexy.
Voted playmate sensation of the winter months.
Envy of all previous centerfolds.

I may not be a vision of human perfection
Nor someone you desire
But I am a unique creation
A vision of my own
A beating heart lay in my chest
One with love
Compassion and respect
Coursing through with each beat
My body is my temple
Even though it is not near
As perfect as those of
Fashion models
Or playboy centerfolds
It is mine
A part of me
It is who I am
Of whom I once was
And now come to be
I have my own feelings
You seem to like to walk over
Carelessly going about
Your own way
Blind-sided
By the surface beauty
That in time does fade
Like all else
And she will end up just like me
While you look past my inner beauty
And fail to see
Who I am
And what I can be
lacking at least one expectation a day,
I would not love myself or anyone in a
crowd of weekend intellects and centerfolds.
But,when the door closes,
I settled for a cracked window.
