What the tea leaves reveal

From a loud-mouth, world’s cease-fire arranger
To desperate man as if in manger,
Who when naught was rendered,
Panned, having surrendered,
And what is worse than that,
For a rival to bat,
Dubbed as salesman and Putin’s messenger!

Note: Meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska. Boasts galore and no more boats to reach the coast across! Putin conceded little, trump ceded his boasts, reduced from being a realtor president to a salesman and messenger to relay Russian terms to EU and Ukraine. But the deal maker that he is, Trump might still get Russian oil to flow in the world easing prices, access rare earths from Ukraine, and his coveted Nobel peace prize.

Premium Memberheart-centric soul

mind is an instrument
we must use it when needed
when the task is finished, rest it
throne of awareness to heart ceded

recognise mind stagnates, whilst heart flows
dwelling in heart, we are in our true home
we are aglow therein, in spatial peace
synced with the cosmic gong Om

Premium MemberI Am That

Now that we know that there is no one here,
with ego cravings having receded,
baseless fears and dark desires disappear,
since will to God we have fully ceded,
with soft whispers of conscience now heeded.
Our void-centric stance invokes magnetism,
igniting head to toe, mind-body prism,
with a healing mist, fully charged with bliss,
whence we become light, affirmed in each ism,
that we may then exclaim, “I’m all of this!”

noise of thought having receded
base instincts too have been weeded
all that cascades within is bliss
we know now God is all there is
our mind and heart, to Him ceded

in the human experience
where ego delusion manifests
we oft may need to sit on our hands
upon storms arising when earth life tests

the teaching is known but not yet ingrained
thus repeated immersion is needed
our reflex response says it all
will to God not ceded

Sky over Gaza

The sky over Gaza is raining red, to the frenzied audacity of smart bombs it has ceded the universe of tranquility.
Witness the calamity, this theater of cruelty with merchants of death monopolizing its space, turning the sky over Gaza into a
Rat-infested environment, salivating the mayhem visited on the innocent below, without pity or remorse.
The sky over Gaza simply wishes it had gates to shun the savage intruders.
But, it has neither thunder nor fire for them, only a sea of tears.

A Style of Seeking Heaven

His participation won't be needed
But he has this fact not heeded:
To their church his father's lands ceded
And church-building time had them weeded.

It is in real mystery shrouded;
When the issue was raised halls crowded.
"Here men have ascended God's Heaven,
One with six plots he soon made seven
Joel with ten he dragged to eleven,
And this buffoon prefers their cession,
"Happy he's heading church procession."

For "Chief" James had hoped participation,
His picking an anticipation
Building towards preoccupation...

A Man Or a Maelstrom

Ever since I met Jesus Christ
I never stopped thinking of him
every morning when I wake up
I always tell him good morning
and say good night to him
when I am going to bed

Everyday I am drawn to him
while reciting and writing my prayers
and singing high praises
to his Father who dwells above
and having dreams
about someday entering
his sacred kingdom in the air

I believe that he came
down to this earth
and ceded himself
on the plains of Gologatha
just so his blood
can cleanse
my transgressions
from the flesh

To this day I still accept him
as my personal saviour
for he is the light of the world
mightier than both Adam
and Moses combined
He is not only a man
but powerful like a maelstrom

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

Premium MemberNeighborhood Watch

The sidewalk is littered with pavement crack weeds.
The road’s full of hot tar mirages.
It leads past the neighborhood’s untended needs,
Trash cans and one-car garages.

The curbstones have ceded their sovereign role
Of guiding the rainwater’s current.
As dammed as they are by their dandelion shoal,
They act as a drainage deterrent.

I noticed a penny pressed into the road.
Its owner had long since departed.
I pried up the copper and made it my own,
And felt one cent less broken hearted.

Change of Seasons

Once, Summer donned a leafy gown,
lush and green were the leaves she wore.
Too soon, her clothes came tumbling down,
stripped from branches, she watched them soar.
She suffered blows
from Nature's throes.

Curled in shades of russet and brown,
withered leaves rest on forest's floor.
Alas, Summer ceded her crown,
when Autumn knocked upon her door.
With season spun,
her reign was done.

Premium MemberMy Foolish Heart

At no time could my heart ever discern reason,
Yet, I tried in the wildflower years to be smart.
Nebulous weather wisely varies every season,
But there is no wisdom in an enamored heart.

Yet, I tried in the wildflower years to be smart.
Sometimes, I really thought I had succeeded.
But there is no wisdom in an enamored heart,
Like a bleeding sun when day has been ceded!

Sometimes, I really thought I had succeeded.
We could have made beautiful music together,
Like a bleeding sun when day has been ceded,
And blue jays fly away with birds of a feather.

We could have made beautiful music together!
Nebulous weather wisely varies every season,
And bluebirds fly away with birds of a feather,
At no time could my heart ever discern reason.

Premium MemberEveryone Has Flaws

I don't crave to come off as arrogant or conceited.
However, as I've come to realize, no one is ceded
Is it a matter of money or power and control?
Which one do you prefer? Is it a blessing or a scold?

Making blunders is simpler than being perfect.
Strain not to endeavor to be flawless if you're upset
Essentially pick the right course and proceed
But don't back at returning at a similar speed.

Everyone strives to be skilled with a high degree.
Everyone aspires to achieve fresh levels of efficiency.
Determination is needed to achieve significance.
Will all observe your battle yet never show a difference?

Crows are said to be drawn to the beauty of Peacock.
As recently said, nobody is perfect, wouldn't you mock?
Consider the possibility of both success and glory.
You must be strong and resolute in preventing tragedy.

Premium MemberThe Turning Sphere

The turning sphere of history remains without merit
Until we earn again for ourselves that which we inherit;
The open window admits the gifter and the grifter.

Passionate pages seeking to be filled with meaning,
Accept copy and paste solutions without fact checking;
The illusion’s brilliance blinds.

Freedoms won with the sacrifice of patriots inveterate
Are ceded to a siren’s song by a servile electorate;
A vote for the melody no matter the lyrics.

The anomaly becomes a tool to indict a group
By extrapolation in a never ending loop;
So many so willingly led by so few.

A kaleidoscope of human mutations vying chaotically to be begot.
Is this what six billion years of random opportunism has wrought;
*****sapiens, the symphony, played to discordant notes?

On Your Birthday, You I Bless

We mark a milestone in your life
Not a room-mate, actually my wife
You bring me daily grief and joy
Feelings that no longer make me coy

I am grateful that I found you
One beat, now in hearts two
Three children we happily share
Their upbringing, we both bear

You to me, add prudence true
A virtue I demonstrate in a moon blue
Family finances are your cup of tea
Areas in which I am very much at sea

You are the medicine I needed
My independence, I gladly ceded
I am learning to be self-centered, less
On your birthday, you I bless
