With no one to steer the course,
A ship is like an unbridled horse.
Any system will rot to naught,
Without a leader at the helm to direct
Has any paper boat from its source,
Charted its own safe course!

Here always in fight
inconfidence, never ends...
for bread and for life
PS Liberta quae sera tamen !
The Inconfidência Mineira was a political conspiracy organized by professionals, the military and members of the economic and social elite of the Captaincy of Minas Gerais in the late 1780s – a time when Brazil was still a Portuguese colony.
liberta quae sera tamen was the motto

Utopia: an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect.
~Oxford Languages
Achieving Utopia is not possible,
It exists outside the realm of Reality.
Reality is the great unstoppable,
In the end there is no amnesty.
No matter how strong the fantasy
Death holds the ultimate captaincy
To the end of our life's journey.
Utopia is a figment that ends with alacrity.
The end is inescapable, coming to us swiftly,
Without exaggeration, in the blink of an eye.

Beneath the translucent veil of placidity, emerged that sound
To all is pure evil forecasting the prelude of a prolonged agony
Of flashy tear drops falling from a man abandoning his captaincy
A voice gushing through blood to veins in a body utterly bound
With the zeal of a new couples tasting a love heartily profound
Never imagining their pampered sparkle would ever reach atrophy
A persisting whisper like the howls of a one thousand wolfhound
Driven by lust, the fervent fervour fatuously never faltered my heart
Desire has simply dyed my insidious sensation with colours agleam
With ease, the prey has fitly fallen into web not using a single dart
Night wiped the eyes of conscience, sanity swept in a sea of steam
For sweet sin never countenances evildoers to venerate the extreme
Bed saved its sheets for passers-by to err, the game began to start!

From on the bank above the bay,
I see the passing ships embrace
this newborn world of me,
unknowing of my captaincy
that maintains their course
along horizon's edge, connecting worlds,
combatting tempests of the mind.
Inside their little universe, they do not see
their god look on. They do not know
about his helpless love,
about his curious majesty
enabling electrons to perform
before his eyes among
their unseen planetary orbs.
Quite the bemused deity am I
to watch the little boats defy
the corner of my paradise
that blurs my sight,
and powered only by my love
will disappear into the night.
Impractical am I, and wise enough
to send them storm and peace
and sun to keep their faces dry.
And only I have destiny
to contemplate, for I
have given them the last, best watch
before their midnight,
and before the shadows die.

Slipping through the fingers of my mind,
all those vague perceptions
of the "I" inside this body
will provide a strange parade
behind the mirror of my life.
If I have learned from growing old,
the fallacy of endless plodding
from one victory until the next--
celebrating notches carved
down to that last bouquet upon my grave,
then it's no journey after all,
but an immersion into truth.
Make of the day, the captaincy of night,
a starship traveling from light to light
when time is one. Let wonder settle in
where hammer blows are dieing.
Stand off upon the crest of doubt
and watch creation groan,
a universe in manifest;
see the one, the present moment
coalescing in our hands,
for that is where the glory lies.
That is where the resurrection waits,
and only there beside the hidden God
the Alleluias ring.
