Can Of Worms Poems | Examples

Can of Worms

Tom tom drums call men unto war

The Euphrates dries in preparation

Of a Third world war as Gog and Magog

Start a Cataclysmic war that unchecked

Will lead to an outright world war

Russia is on the offensive in arms against

A colleague of the Russian federation

By name Ukraine is daily bombarded

Carpet bombing NATO names it

As they western powers Arm Ukraine

And dogs of war, by name Mercenaries

Are shipped in droves to support the underdog

The Big USA uncle Sam as they call Her

Peddles her weaponry to the downtrodden Ukraine

As rumors of war abound.. They call it war propaganda

There will be wars and rumors of war but the end is not yet

The end comes when the Beelzebub Prince makes peace

With the Holy Land.. Ooh JERUSALEMA.. why am I reminded of ACRE

Premium Member Inside Them Dry Bones Are a Can of Worms--

When it's over;
it's  over;
And the spirit and soul left the body;

They've placed you in a hole;
Covered you over with dirt;
Six feet under below the earth;

And the warms and maggots, eat your flesh;
Soon there be nothing left;
Thanks be to God this isn't your true self;

Yes, yes, yes nothing left but bones;
Open up are those cans of worms;
Like the larvae, flies, and worms,
try to rise to catch my spirit-soul;

For nothing left but them dry bones;

A Can of Worms Bereft of Any Worth

Fact and fiction, abundance and paucity
Vie for space in a world driven insane
Conflating rural life and life in the city
Where dealing, hustling and stealing grow inane

In minds and lives
Caught up in a conundrum
Stabbed and clubbed by knives
To the beat and feet of the drum

Heard in the middle of a night
So dark a stark sentiment
Flies in dyes chosen by the knight
Riding a high horse to the detriment

Of society whose propriety
Draws doubt when ludicrous lips twist and tout
The truth, the naked truth in a variety
Sometimes so convoluted and distorted doubt

Arises at sunup
In the morning when snoring
Faces shake cobwebs to drink from a cup
Teeming with tears at the sound of mourning

Wailing without a sound
Sighing without weeping
Kneeling on surfaces out of bound
As spies make a statement so sweeping

Truth cries
Facts flee from the face of the Earth
As an invisible hand pries
Open a can of worm bereft of any worth.

A Can of Worms

Oh no’ I’ve really opened a can of worms!
An expression used by many that brings mystery some cans not the norm.
In life things, just little things sometimes surprise us!
Like the time I finally found God the Father, the “Word” His name was Jesus.

It’s such a vast universe, stars, suns, moons, planets, asteroids, and of course even black holes.
A can of worms? When I knocked, searching, asking for the door to be opened and I finally found a spiritual whole.
To be in communion with the “Word” to able to live by His every word, no matter what; knowing He is with us.
All the universe and gravity put together spectacularly in unison by the Father, and of course Jesus.

The Holy Bible God’s map for humanity, His spiritual light given to mankind so we can be a part of the God family.
Humans of course aren’t packed worms with no thoughts, we are made in the Father’s image, and we need only God’s Spirituality.
Not carnal’ Spiritual’ this is the key, using the wisdom that God chooses for some of “us” to see and be faithful.
The entire universe, Spiritual beings like God, who are His children for this, man’s love for Him should be grateful.

How To Eat a Can of Worms

A tree house high within the leaves
A crowd of friends to cheer you on
While sun shines high within the sky
And birds nearby do sing their song
The buzzing laughter of the bees
Is noise as silence fills the room
While friends, they stare and wait their turn
Watch a face that smiles, turn to gloom
And then the fork, it so descends
Unto the waiting open lair
To take them out and place on tongue
Because just one had dared to dare
