Premium MemberPoetry Confidence

It is easy for ones confidence to be dented

Doubting self belief and ability

Amongst the calibre of masterful wordsmiths

Writing exceptional poetry

If doubt takes hold ….one must remember

Each poet is unique, thus writes differently

‘As is our likes and dislikes’

All these things I could do

I wish I could scrumerge your vista
hurt your emotional calibre
pique your errant sojourn
Run counter to your plans
Turn off your sunshine tap
Un mistletoe your golden spleen
accommodate you in a cave
the sole occupant
adamantly theoretical unconversationalist
to echo alone

21st Century Political Legacy

Our politicians of the 21st Century
Lack Insight
The nature of true graft
The hardship
Our hands have Laboured
Of love for our community
Together
We were once United in Diversity

Our Generations of families
Built this country
With a calibre of Passion and Poetry
Inspirational Integrity
Kindness our Philosophy

And prominent legends
Have left , and gone is their Legacy
Of Great and Wonderous Inventions

Birth and pain
Our thoughts born
Belonging to teachers of historical leadership
Now, lost and forgotten

Thrown away , a thesis of copy and paste PHDs
Wasted are the words
Buried secrets
In Sediment of soils
Earth, her history
Ignored
For War and Victory

A 21st Century Political Legacy

So Many Men Who Take

So many men who take
And in doing so cause damage and Heart break
To women who must put the pieces back together
They rise up from the pain
They start looking once again
In the stormy weather
For this beautiful thing called love
They rise above
The pain
With new hope again

Only to meet the same or worse calibre as before
Not realizing the drama that's in store
Men want their needs to be met
So they will pressure for it until they get
A woman's chastity. They...
Spend a little but expect a lot in return. They
Keep women as back ups for when they get burned

Her parents never told her about the nature of men
And how to be smart in dealing with them
How to be assertive and when to walk away
And how to attract only the right one to stay

So after all that happened why did she stay?
When this was clearly not the only way?
She lost all hope and was tired of looking
They all cause pain
The efforts of looking once more will all be in vain
The routine of hurt will remain the same
What she seeks does not exist
Therefore it was futile to persist

Tv Wars

In our home TV choices
Are subject to much debate
Programmes one may like
Can make another feel irate

Its Friday night tonight
So it’s with a sense of doom
I see tonights selection
Playing in the living room……..

Car programmes of every kind
Rally, racing and repairs
Like ‘Extreme Suzuki 4x4’ -
It’s the stuff of my nightmares

And wait, there’s so much more
Of ‘Global Investigator’ calibre
How about ‘Mysteries of the Deep’
And ‘Paranormal Caught on Camera’?

Theres ‘Storage Wars’ and ‘River Monsters’
And ‘Islands’, both ‘Oak’ and ‘Snake’
But for me it’s ‘Expedition Unknown’
That really takes the bloody cake

I find none of this inspiring
And I’m feeling quite unhinged
As payback I will subject them
To a ‘British Bake Off’ binge

New India - True India

Say no to corruption,
May it be a transition!
Stay eco-friendly,
Make it intently!

Vanquish poverty,
Vindicate prosperity!
Integrity in words,
Hospitality in hearts!

Cognizance of calibre,
Counter to briber!
Industrial development,
Immense employment!

Induce space mission,
Inculcate transmission!
Sedentary is mortality,
Make farming a necessity!

Snatch your rights,
Use them wise!
Oblige to carve new India, Our true India!

Offenseless

Surrender your ill feeling
Exchange it for due healing
Years have seen you offended
And they hoarded all that God intended
In position, provision and power.
That you grumble at the hour
And all the dreams and perks unforthcoming
Rage and unease in your heart are swarming
It makes your chest to heavy to bear
And if a cloak, too heavy to wear

With such a soul borne stain
Wouldn't power only swell the pain
Wouldn't treasure trample even the sacred
Praise for calibre would go to rebellion instead
And in the wake of heroes of wars
Will be the mourning of scores
So has God in love and wisdom
Refrained many from the spoils of the Kingdom
To save them and to save others
Lest even the staunchest faith withers

Every heart rests on His scales
And let it come to pass that after many fails
That I soonest lay down every burden
And cease to be lost amongst the brethren
Sanctify myself into a vessel of honour
Fear and trembling be salvation's working manner
Pressing on like those that God made great.
That I may grow in stature and in state
In time, in step and in tune
So I and destiny can commune

Lust

LUST,
It can be so addictive.
Its nearly impossible to break it possession.
Like a bee traped in flower's snare of temptation,
We also imprisoned to its false wen.

It efface all the tranquillity, and drives people like blind puppets.
It's destroy all the amity of human and Impair themself.

Rather than rising its buried all affection.
Making hollow, it's slowly arreste all the feeling
And make people to do false dedication.

Slowly it consumes the calibre of loving,
and emergence the route of demolition.
Like a firefighter it abolish all the means of compliance.
And make the person self destructive.

Following ruining to the fullest extent.
There will be interminable Nothingness,
Finally it accomplished its ambition,
and leaves the body with direction.

Suicide

Suicide

I have lately been contemplating taking my life
The question is, how?
I live on the seventh floor with a veranda
The falling is not bad I shudder by the impact
Also, upsetting people.
A shotgun in my mouth blowing my brain out Is too ghastly,
Ernest Hemingway did it shoot himself
Blood and gore all over the place.
A 22-calibre pistol should do it, but I dislike
Weapons.
To take a handful of pills will not do I would
Throw up and sweat profoundly.
I wish there were an injection that made me
Disappear from the face of the earth.
No funeral
No flowers
Few tears
Only an enduring question
Where the hell did he go?

Success and Failure

Failure makes success is a vague idea
Opportunities are much importance here
All are stepping for the height of life
Competition starts from the time of formation
Calibre is the criteria to success
Pushing for highest position
Then begin with huffing to others
Social cycles rotates and all
Members follows the same
All over the success make a line
Searching for ambitious things
Forgetting the past steps
Mind became greedy and cruel
Kindness change to meaningless
Rushing for the wealth and honour
To find out the reality of the life
Always equal distance between success and failure.

The Reality of Life

When the conscious refuses to stay silent,
It begins to torment the barrier of our lives.
Which is why we get into our guards...
Trying to quiet our guilty conscience.

We can run, and we can hide from our deeds,
But eventually we want to be free.
We confess, we crack
Our hearts are no different.

With the endurance of fascination,
was lure and lore in the dead of the night.
Inauspiciously, all of that never lasts
As good things come to an end.

You believe in your abilities, you open doors of prominence.
You admire your spirit, you open doors of opulence.
Helm your own life and be coerce in it – cause no one will do it for you.
“It takes the leader of a high calibre to resist good offers in life,” they say.

A Heavenly Visit

https://m.soundcloud.com/user-921599710/a-heavenly-visit

A Jewess of Nazareth, city of Galilee
Alongside Joseph, soon to be espoused
Descendants of David, humbly poor
Calibre in carpentry, provide for his bride
To Mary an angel would arrive
Words of the angel Gabriel, she will bring forth a son
A sovereign Saviour of the world
Mary blessed and highly favoured
To bear the chosen one, both ruler and King
Yet surprising, afar woman of old
Elizabeth of Judah, a promise to unfold
For she would soon be with child too
Nothing is impossible for God to do
Be it unto him, in accordance to the word
Leaping babe of thy womb, promise arise
A secret to rejoice, beyond angelic voice
A journey to Nazareth
Joseph’s divine dream
Awareness anew, a promise to be true

Anthony Joshua

The epitome of greatness, a mark in history

Of discipline remarkable, a stellar victory

Defeating the unbeaten, knock and break the mould

International heavyweight of Olympic Gold

Strike in quick succession, opponents retreat

Delivery duration, a knockout of defeat

Tactical ability, step into the range

Catalyst created, set for further change

Of the highest calibre, man who beat the man

Delivery on target, a humble champion

Of opponents outclassed, discontinued bout

Dominant performance, within and without

With athletic excellence, distance travelled far

Gym of daily training, cardio and spar

Professional perspective, stood to set the pace

Dedication, boldness, motivate, embrace

Influencing globally, rank of the elite

Rapid combinations, uppercuts repeat

Powerful formation, readiness of stance

Daily preparation, practice over chance

An honourable service, magnificence abound

Celebrating victory, crowding to surround

Continuing the greatness, strength and stamina

The world is truly grateful, Anthony Joshua

The Introvert

Being an introvert is not a crime
does not mean ones soul is dark
something that we all should keep in mind,
People you need to grow up,
bullying is what you do
no guys please, I beg you!
Being an Introvert does not mean you know nothing
and people who think this, definitely their minds are rusting,
Let them tease, you know you are a star and stars do shine,
Don't have a friend?
darling it's fine,
Don't give a damn about what people say,
empty brains speak stupid, why should you care?

Speak up, open your mouth!
show them, shout out loud,
it's okay if your voice is low
dosen't reach people?
wait till you're ready to show.
Being an Introvert is not a crime,
you have a lot of calibre
it's just time,
a little more time and they all will be stunned
by things you'll do,
just wait for your turn and their egos to burn.

The world will never stop hurting
and this is for sure,
but you can start thinking and find a cure,
never be a renegade,
and remember that success is not only about getting grades.
