Well said, Deb.i hope we appreciate others points of view, Take care xx Pangie Califonia had evil fires and they are still burniing. High winds like 90 mph and no water! Sadly, firemen were lost. People lost everything. Heartbreaking to see.

These fires will stop when the winds go vaxl to normal. That part of CA has fires on a regular basis. It is not theend of the word, Debb, i write apiem far more positive agter it, i think you mght lke tnwewer one! We cannot be victims in lfe,, Hugs, Pangie. right?

A "special" and definitely unique world it is, Deb! As you so wisely point out it is so important to remember that each poet writes with a "unique" voice and part of the fun of reading the PS poets is discovering that unique way of expressing their world. Touche' Deb, I read somewhere that we all may be tapping into the One Great Mind in the universe and may not be thinking our own separate thoughts after all. Perhaps we're all more connected on a deeper level than we realize. Still, thankfully, we all see and express life differently in all its beauty, ugliness and complexity. Exactly! Every poem is a poem, and every poet is a poet, and one must respect individual difference if one writes something they dont like , simply learn to appreciate the little things such as emotions and energy they put into writing. Very on point -- poetry is unique as every soul who ventures into its mystical waters. Sometimes I may spend a half hour on one small poem, delving into its beauty and mystery before I make a heartfelt comment. Of course, then there are the FAVS! Poetry is blessed.
