What if they Quit? What will Happen to Us?
We depend on so many to bake and cook our food
To keep us in fashion, to teach our children, to keep museums open
But what if the masses decide it is not worth it?
What if the truck drivers all go on strike?
What if the school teachers say, “we are not returning?”
What if the cooks call in sick and retire?
We depend on so many we do not see.
Things get finished by invisible people
Who work diligently to keep litter out of parks.
To keep the oceans clean, to keep track of our money.
We depend on people we have never met.
What if they quit? What will happen to us?
What if the restaurants close and there are no notes on the door?
What if hoarders buy up all the toilet paper?
Who is going to keep track of us? Who is going to save us? Who?

The Chinese (told to me by a South African)
They are all over Arica now building houses,
Railways and roads using their workers
There is little work for the local population.
If you take a train in Africa, there are many graves
By the embankment, of Chinese workers who
Died there they even haven’t got a name.
The Chinese buy-up farmland products are sent
To chine to feed the population there and the locals
Are starving.
Chine is not about individuals but the plurality
Like a locust swarm leaving the land bare and now
They are building a road the goes to Europe: and on
The way they buy farmland it until the last plant
and leaves behind devastation.
So, look out what is coming your way.

A CASHLESS SOCIETY, MEANS TOTAL CONTROL.
IT'S ALL GOING DOWN, MOST DON'T EVEN KNOW.
IT'S ALL A TRAP, THAT IS COMING ABOUT.
ONCE SUCKERED IN, THERE'S NO WAY TO GET OUT.
TRACKING YOUR SPENDING, WHERE EVER YOU VISIT.
WHO NEEDS TO KNOW AND I ASK YOU WHY IS IT.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, RIGHT THERE IN YOUR HAND.
GATHERING INTEL, AND AWAITING COMMAND.
ELITES WANT CONTROL, THEY WILL DO WHAT THEY MUST.
BUY UP SILVER AND GOLD, WE CAN WATCH THEM GO BUST.
A FORM OF MONEY, FIVE THOUSAND YEARS OLD.
GOLD IS A RELIC, WE ARE FORCED TO BE TOLD.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE POSSESSION, YOU DON'T HAVE CONTROL
JUST ONE MORE REASON, WHY YOU WANT TO OWN GOLD.
THERE'S A GOLDEN RULE, MAYBE YOU HEARD.
HE WITH THE GOLD, HAS THE LAST WORD.

I don't want Aliens
buying U.S. business,
but please stand back
while I buy up all your cheapest busyness
for International Made In America Trumpism.
Colonialism,
like Trumpism,
should work only one way,
which,
as everybody of importance knows,
is my imperialistic,
not much empirical,
Royal Way.
I also don't want your poor
and uneducated immigrants,
and certainly not their ungainly families,
but please keep your rabble back
while I visit your capital investments
to infest my glorious smog
embracing short-lived climates of pathology.
Enculturation,
like facts,
should only work
Made in Triumphalist U.S. way,
and if anything were ever true blue and White,
and not at all red, patriotic made,
it is my great transitional
ecopolitical
Trumpian UnHealthCare Way.

I’m noticing the seeds I like to buy
are running out in flavor “Nacho Cheese.”
They’ve got sunflower seeds in Ranch, but I
require my nacho cheese ones. Geeez Louise!!
I look it up on Google and I find
they’re selling out. I run to every store!
They’ve got that dang “Dill” flavor, but my kind
is not in stock and won’t be any more.
I know a service station that’s still got
those seeds I love. I’m off! The hunt is on!
I’ll buy up every bag in every spot
where I can locate them before they’re gone.
Some other stations carry them. I dash
from Pleasant Grove to Provo, brandishing
my credit card. I buy them. In a flash,
all seeds in Nacho Cheese are vanishing!
I’m driving south as far as Mapleton!
The chance of finding bags of them is dire
for fellow addicts. I’ve found sixty-one
to last a year before they all expire!
A true story that happened to me about five years ago
See "About Poem" above. When I love something, I try very hard to get it!!

If I was a rich man
I would buy up market friends
Follow all the new trends
Drive the latest Mercedes Benz
Service myself with greed
Consume more than I need
But if I am honest to myself and true
What I would really love to do
Is buy back time
Take a completely different view
You see to me my biggest regret is that I realized to late
The bounty of love set at my plate
As the cancer took took care of that fate
Familiarity breeds contempt is what he always meant
And when he eventually took his breath his life finally spent
It came abundantly clear what familiarity breeds contempt really meant
When you show love to late your left with only crumbs on your plate
For in reality a truly rich man to this will attest
He has very few friends
Drives a bus not a Benz
Rather lived out his life to atone to amend
In the hope come the day the bitter end
Reading his obituary
Those he loved the most loved him back the most
