Don’t push red roses aside
nor the violets-blue guide.
It’s childhood honey sweet.
It’s a record player on repeat.
It’s a treasure, and when found
a mother feels thus crowned.
The message on printed cards -
cute drawings with regards.
It is the simplest compliment -
in latter years, a sacred document.
It’s the breeziest way a child conveys
their love on special holidays.

Here is one with spelling mistakes…love it:
short poem
roses are red voilets
are blue you care
about me and I care
about you. xxxx Looking
at the roses blum make
me smile.
loving the breeziest wind in my hair
grass tickles my toes
an owl hoots a hello
best summer evening ever
loving the breeziest wind in my hair
grass tickles my toes
an owl hoots a hello
best summer evening ever
I had to figure all of you out you know.
I grabbed a shaded glimpse here and I got one there.
I saw this and I saw that and nothing was fair.
But now it was time for me to go.
Glimpses of shade and sparks of light,
Together we made a blazing baffling trail.
Night became day and day became night.
It was an endless circle making me way too frail.
But I journeyed on because I just had to figure you all out.
There were clues everywhere, even in the breeziest air.
I danced the nights away and left the Stars succumbed in doubt.
I stood on top of the Moon and was left stranded in the Sun’s care.
I floated inside of clouds and kissed the lightning shot by shots.
One by one, I gathered a million handfuls of your many forget me nots.
