Fired from West Point Academy
to release tales of horror on his country
nor’easter skies, contemplate,
but my honey plans
to catch a flight
almost forgets his meeting
thinking about his airplane seating
traffic not in the Bostonian plan
speeds things up all he can
he’s made his gate...ready to load
sign changes to delay in bold
another call to his spouse’s cell
after another delay...ain’t that swell
he finally arrives after midnight hour
perhaps she’s waiting with only a flower
are you kidding me, folks,
i’m quite tired...stumble off to bed,
after leaning in with a kiss.
this is wedded bliss ;)

A rainy August day in Massachusetts
Down in Somerville weather is cool
On a wet Sunday afternoon
See me skipping puddles pass Sanders theatre
Shoes swimming in blues
From Kirkland Street to Harvard Square I go
Watch a beautiful Bostonian show, now you know
I take the Red line train to Davis Square
See YOU there
At Burren an Irish band sets up to play
I heard Commons is cold today, what do you say
Meet me at the Harbor
We'll watch Sail boats dancing in the rain
Think I'm falling in love
Boston's happening to me
Suddenly I belong
Like a song to a movie
Must be falling in love
She's got heartbeat to Woo me
Twinkling Stars abound
Angels fly over her City
She launched into sea in 1852,
And was build by Donald McKay.
She sailed from Honolulu, Hawaii
To New York in a whopping 82 days.
She set the fastest speed ever recorded,
On her second leg voyage for a sailing ship.
She logged in at 22 knots/25 mph,
Over a 24 hour, 400 mile trip.
She loved to sail the open ocean,
Sailing away with the breeze.
She was a Bostonian Clipper Ship,
Named the Sovereign of the seas.
