To give your mother something nice,
don’t need to think about it twice.
Just a phone call or a letter,
will make her feel so much better.
Show her how much you really care,
and say thank you for being there.
You can simply hug and kiss her,
to show her how much you’ve missed her.
Because after all of those years,
they have spent drying off your tears.
Being the official wiper,
whenever you filled your diaper.
Always cooking something yummy,
To fill up your empty tummy.
Making sure you’re tucked in at night,
under blanket so warm and tight.
Placing a kiss on your forehead,
search for monsters under your bed.
Kissing away all those booboos,
consoling you if you should lose.
The best thing that you could ever do,
Is to say to her,
“Mom, I love you.”

Oh mother oh mother oh motherly
be,
woe would be the world without
thee,
you fed us when we were
hungry,
you clothed us when we were
cold,
you cooled us when we were
feverish,
and you held us when we weren’t
quite so bold;
so mother oh mother oh motherly
be,
many would be the sorrow without
thee,
you pained at our
losses,
you jocund at our
gains,
you kissed all of our
booboos,
and bandaged all our
sprains;
so mother oh mother oh motherly
be,
many would be the poorer without
thee,
1
so you never owned new
shoes,
for that matter nor a
dress,
your hair was cut by your very own
hands,
so we could have the
best;
so mother oh mother oh motherly
be,
because of thee;
the richer, the wiser, the better are
we.

For anyone owning a pc
Does not have it worse than me
I have a degree in technology
Oh computer gods hear my plea
I went from windows 7 to ten and back again
I encounter viruses from now until then
I work crazy hours to fix pc issues
Could someone please hand me some tissues
I am going through the pc tech blues
This is a living to help pay my dues
The customers' pc is putting up a fight
But we will go at it all night until i get it right
I will not let one problem be missed
My dear pc your booboos will be kissed
I work hard to provide excellent service
Now some pc's make me nervous
Pc tech blues cannot fix it i will repair your parts
Even if the cost breaks a few hearts
That's what I will have to do
To make you pc good as new
The pc tech blues I struggle
for you pc i will manage and juggle
I will fix your troubles fast and swift
For my customer fixing you is my gift

Like a tree
Firmly planted in the ground
He stands tall and sturdy
His dark eyes
Full of forgiveness and understanding
His strong hands
Callous from years of driving nails
He is a simple man
Earning every penny he spends
To some he is quite intimidating
But to you he is a soft landing
Ever since he held you
For the very first time
You had his heart
He watched you grow
Always there to lend a hand
Sometimes a
Firm hand to teach a lesson
But more often
It was soft and encouraging
He taught you right from wrong
And how to grow
To be independent
To be Strong
He fixed you bumps
Kissed your booboos
Now he still helps
To soothed your heart
When needed
You use to think
You knew it all
And now you
Heed his every word
Although you have not
Always seen eye to eye
Nothing could ever
Cause your love to cease
No matter how old
You grow to be
To him you will always be
His baby girl
And to this day
All it takes
Is his hug to help
The hurting go away
No one has ever felt
As much love
As between a daddy
And his little girl

Her hands are for holding
Clapping and scolding
Her hands are for pointing
Counting down the warning
Her hands are for wiping up
Tears, dirt and spills
Her hands are for hugging
Paying doctor bills
Her hands are for patting
Pulling and pushing
Out of bed, here we go a driving
Her hands are for tying
Shoes, bows and ties
Put them on; braid it, time for church smiling
Her hands are for hiding smiles,
Laughter and glee, when that child
Says something they shouldn’t be
Her hands are for rubbing
Backs, bellies and booboos
When they're sleeping, sick or hurting
Her hands are for praying
‘Lord please keep them safe,’
Loving, caring and hoping

Amongst the fields of milk and honey
Run tight ends paid much too much money
Throwing pink pig skins
With nary a grin
Nursing booboos which aren’t real funny.
So, get your hot dog, buy that beer
Hear those skulls crack give a cheer
Break a leg
Tap that keg
We're building men here, ain’t that clear?

Kiss my booboos
Dry my tears
Be my hero
Through the years
Teach me lessons
Keep me safe
Help me develop
My own faith
I'm the princess
You're my king
Someday soon I'll
Get a ring
But I'm always
Daddy's star
Never will I
Go afar
For my Daddy

At seventeen months I know I am your world.
At seventeen years, I pray I am a part.
At seventeen months I always know where you are.
At seventeen years, I pray that you call.
At seventeen months, you cry over booboos.
At seventeen years, you will cry over boys.
At seventeen months, a kiss will make it better.
At seventeen years, I pray a hug will help.
At seventeen months, I love to listen to you talk.
At seventeen years, I pray I remember to listen.
At seventeen months, the world is a full of wonder.
At seventeen years, I pray your world is still wonderful.
At seventeen months, you are just starting childhood.
At seventeen years, you are just leaving it behind.
At seventeen months, I love you with all my heart.
At seventeen years, I will love you with all my heart.

Noisiness neighs your code,
Loud, braggadocios, belching
Shouting sentiments and prophysying plays
As your body disintegrates
And dredges your kidneys fail and your legs lilt frail
Yet you claim life loud and braggadocios.
The football game gimmicks
The baseball booboos all acclaimed and assessed by you
Whose own health waivers with lesions and machines
Mitigate your blood as you shout loudly, “I told you”
To quintessential quarterbacks in your dreams
You chair the channel surfer of your mind as the
Games grab headlines heralding from your hurting heart.

The moments that I share with my children are very precious to me.
The laughter from being glee.
The puppy dog eyes, and the " please mommy please."
The mending of booboos, and the wiping of their tears.
Going to the parks, and watching them play until the end of day.
The reciting of prayers, and the kisses on the cheeks.
As I tuck them into bed.
The precious moments that my children, and I share.
