Premium Member Some Old Style Verse For a New Frame of Mind

The Middle Time is now upon me,
The tune to which I dance grows somewhat thin;
A ghost remembrance of that cacophonous din
To which my steps were measured in my youth.
I know there lies now less before
Than all those days that lay within
The sepulcher of careless memory passed,
I apprehend the sometime bitter truth
That evil days approach my door
When much of what I've come to love will bid its leave
As I be forced to gaze aghast
At sights my eyes would fain not see,
When I to faithful hope must cleave.

Yet, what better time than this, the high point of the feast?
That Jester, Youth, has left the table
Leaving us the better able
To speak of things which more befit the greyed brow,
Matters weighty and sublime
Which better suit our natures now, though perhaps in tone more sable
Than such issues as delight the Fool,
Content the simpleminded sow -
Let us worthily pass the time
To Banquet's End, in company merry and refined,
Reviewing all we gained in Life's long school -
Establish what we value most and least,
Then say we fed our souls while yet we dined.

O grieve not that thy step be not so quick nor light
As t'was it's wont to be in bygone days,
Nor pine for carefree, childish ways -
They had their time, and sweet they were,
But now thou hast a surer, measured step
Nobler thoughts - the ones which stay,
Youth for all its joyful folly
Is not a state forever to prefer
To mind and manner better kept
From fancies and seductions strange;
Who but a Fool would be forever jolly
To deny his Midlife's further sight,
It's deeper view, it's wider range?

Greeting God’s goodness’ glow graciously
Hoisting hopefulness-height hastily…

Increasing influence in instructing
Joining journey’s joy-jolting
Kindling kindness keeping kindred-knitting
Leading love’s lighting…

Optimizing obedience-opportunities openly
Pushing productiveness powerfully
Quickening qualm-quakes quickly…

Love of My Heart

First and above all
He dreamt me up, had me in regards
Prior to conceived, befit me for salvation
Timely was parturient into realm that was, is and forever will be
Little nothing known I, wholly out-and-out shed He supreme priceless blood.

Could He resent dying on the woods?
Nail-pierced palms’ no hilarity
Doubtlessly fleshly heart as mine was His
Torment and anguish trepidation interweave
Extremity heartbeats.

Shudder to death in imagination of His death knowledge
Evoke mocking and disdains and beatings with cursing render repentance
How innocence turned guilty for wrongs
Cleansed as filthy garment purged in blood to whiteness
Had I gone onto altar for me, I’d fail acceptance as offering.

Lamb worthily solitary slain, sins exonerate
What shall I repay Lord demise on intersection?
His is silver, gold own I not, words of mouth thanking Him the Lord gave
What feasibly of value can I, for Jesus do, equate that He’s done on the cross?
Instead, “Thank you King Messiah, Lover of my soul.”

Who else is worthy to open the scroll breaking seven seals?
Who can go to God arbitrating iniquities?
Only Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God High above in holy heaven on glorious throne
Moreover He’s Love of my heart
None other is Life and Counsel.

He deserves honor and glory and majesty and worship from all
Described as Wonderful, Marvelous, Precious and Adorable
Nothing alike to Him; be it on lands, in depth of waters or yonder horizons
No one matches His standards, but His love endures human imperfections
He is the Almighty, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnificent, and Omnipresent.

His name is Jesus-The One and the Only ONE, besides Him is no other than He
Blessed be the name of Jesus forever and ever.
Amen!

Fun Eral

the makeup person
worthily deserves
the title of artist
knowing the coffin
would be an open
affair needing care

aware of capturing
the features of the
deceased to keep
for the eternal sleep
so saying amen to
the true nature of

the unforgettable
purple wig worn
with a glowing red
nose and the smile
painted permanently
happy even if sad and

lastly the polka-dotted
extra large spinning bow
tie recognized by every
child who laughed at him
when seen at the circus
never scared of a clown

so as the service ended
after the bearded lady
gave a proper eulogy
a tiny hearse drove in
and stopped under the
big top out hopped ten

midgets dressed
as cops arresting
laughter while
attempting to
put the box in
the trunk

The Maiden's Song - a Poem By Giorgio Av

(Metrical form of writing worthily represented here in this poem composed by Giorgio Venetopoulos, had remained unpublished.)

The maiden's form diffuses neath the rain
and beautiful she steps around the sage
The mists embrace her dream on this domain
and vernal age.

The autumn raindrops fall, forever thin
They sing the maiden's song that lingers high
She fled to college winters that akin
have gone awry.

She fled above the plains where women sing
The heartfelt painful songs of love that stings
The iron bells of Sunday callings ring
for queens and kings.

Above the castle's walls the coldness casts
and dancing snowflakes fly to years before
where trees saluted his departing masts,
for e'er ashore.

Forsooth her shape outlined above the field
Where flowers blossomed in the air and smiled
The quiet dusk her heart sedately healed
descending mild.

Across their Summer lay the swaths of scythe
the mowing ended and a wedding song
two wraiths recite, thus on the wheatfield lithe
for e'er belong.

The Amazing Spiderman

Though not considered powerful,
          yet widespread by demand.
     Comics sold, bankrolls, showerful,
                    allegiance o'er the land.

Look out, here comes the Spiderman.
          Criminals have no chance,
there are billions but just one man,
                    lockup post song and dance.

He improved his costume and skills,
swings and speeds just in time,
thieving crooks in the act get chills,
                    serving time for the crime.

Glory and money mean nothing,
          those facts launched worthily.
Some cons, but most pros, are buzzing,
                    thank you's he does receive.

Spins his web, swings rooftops, and on,
          culprits caught in his web.
     Wherever unlawful moves spawn,
his acts cause crime to ebb.

As a young fan, recollecting,
          moments from page to page,
     suspense and fun of connecting,
                    former lad, now old age.

Little One

To what may I most worthily compare
The tinier, fatter fingers of this newborn?
To breathe of softness his delicate fingers
Which by one definition one is able
To swallow one by one like cherry-flower snow!

We'Ve Had Enough

We've had enough of your political lies
Deceit and promises which are meant for the fools.
We've heard enough of " i will do this and that'
Yet there's nothing to show for it.
You lie worthily with your sugar coated tongue,
creating false hopes and trust
When there's no hope and trust among your selves.
You lie through your teeth deceiving the masses
to rule us to your selfish interest.
You lying serpent of old who proudly
Like the peacock deceived the first children of the earth.
political fools, sons of Jezebel, mother of wickedness.
You lifts the hopes of the masses and
they work like Elephant for you
BUt when you get there, you turn you back on them.
Turn your black back for them to see your wickedness.
How ever, you forgot how we campaigned for you,
Under the angry rain and the wicked sun
singing to our own foolishness and stupidity.
We've had enough of your wickedness.
When would it end june or july?
Monday or Saturday , when we go out there to protest and then you kill us?
When would all the lies and deceit end because we've had enough of them all.
Remember one who is honoured today can be dishonoured tomorrow.

Premium Member The Sacraments In General

A Sacrament is an outward sign instituted by Christ to give grace

There are 7 Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist or Communion, Penance or Confession, Extreme Unction or Anointing of the sick, Holy Orders and Holy Matrimony

The Sacraments have the power of giving grace from the merits of Jesus Christ

The Sacraments have the power of giving grace from the merits of Jesus Christ

Some of the sacraments give sanctifying grace and others increase it in our souls

The Sacraments that give sanctifying grace are Baptism and Penance or Confession and they are called the Sacraments of the dead

Baptism and Penance or Confession are called Sacraments of the dead because they take away sin, which is the death of the soul and give grace which is its life.

The Sacraments that increase sanctifying grace in our soul are: Confirmation, Holy Eucharist or Communion, Extreme Unction or Anointing of the sick, Holy Orders, and Holy Matrimony and they are called Sacraments of the living

Confirmation, Holy Eucharist or Communion, Extreme Unction or Anointing of the sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony are called Sacraments of the living, because those who receive them worthily are already living the life of grace

He who receives the Sacrament of the living in mortal sin commits a sacrilege, which is a great sin, because it is an abuse of sacred thing
Besides sanctifying grace the Sacraments give another grace, called sacramental

Sacramental grace is special help which God gives, to attain the end for which He instituted each Sacrament.
The Sacrament always give grace, if we receive them with the right dispositions

We can receive Sacraments more than once, except Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders

We cannot receive Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders more than once because they imprint a character in the soul

The character which these sacraments imprint the soul is a spiritual mark which lives forever

This character remains in the soul even after death: for the honor and glory of those who are saved; for the shame and punishment of those who are lost

Vivacious Boon

Everywhere I see You,
Everywhere I feel You!
In a bit or a byte,
Capturing throughout my vision,
Romantically draping You, in my arms of prison!
Ohh my lady love,You rose my heart & I felt rocked!

Accompanying You, Aimlessly I wanna rove,
Cunningly I wanna glow, In the ardor of Your love!
worthily I owe You my angel,
swathe me enchantingly in Your soul,
Embed me in Your shell-dwelled heart!
As I do fell in love with You, Once again!

Last night, thundering lights,
Face Reflection of Your's, appeared in my sight,
Everywhere I see you,
Everywhere I feel you!

In an autumn bonfire,
That pleasant kiss,
And quixotically I felt bliss,
Damn damn gona miss,
Every moment,every hour,
The fire of Your love had charred me into a loveable soul!
Every nerves of my heart bears an effigy's of Your charm honey!
I love you,
And I need your love babe !!

In every season,
The moment, I find You so changed,
Anger, rage, fear, sadness in me is been vanhoved everytime,
Gust feeling of love has been crimsoned in my every nerves!

In a split of seconds, You touched my blushing cheeks,
Excitedly my heart started to highly beep!
with Your flying kisses, chirographically my life is been made more meaningful,
Enduring the darkness,I met my sparkling star!

Ohh my lady dove,
My nerves are been shoved,
Beating heart You covered with a protected glove,
In the obsession of your love,
I wanna complete the captivating book of my life with Your epitome of innocence!!

Words are been formed with the bunch of alphabets,
And M'sure, binding with you, Our life will be intended to luxuriously set!
Nobody touched my life the way you do,
Soliciting me, You filled water into a thirsty vessel of my heart!
Yes You boomed, my heart shaking it with Your intense love!

Hovering in the sky,
Pressing the special part,
whimsically You thumped my soul!
Jack-O-lantern,my Dove electrifyingly You mobilised mine sterile heart!

The Beloved

If ever time would let me hold
but for a moment-one day
where any dream can still unfold
and change the course of yesterday

I'd search so many years ago
submit to you alone
No where in time I'd let you go
No place in time I'd roam

If everlasting was held there
and that day measured infinity
today my sins would not appear
for I'd have earned eternity

But Lord you hold a water's mist
that it should never touch the ground
You have ensured that I exist
for by grace my sins aren't found

As memories of my hope in you
awake my heart to strive
Your Spirit fills with light from you
and I once dead am now alive

For yesterday is history
but today I'm in your hand
My tomorrows aren't a mystery
for you've re-shaped me with your plan

So that now forgiven, I do dare
to claim my rights foretold
I am beloved..I am aware
that you have restored my soul

Behold! Within my heart flows tears
for your mercy towards me
Your glory, treasure that I bear
will lead beyond the crystal sea

Lord you have joined two worlds apart
This truth you came to give..
that man with you in his own heart
can be worthily called "Beloved"..

Her Meteor

Actually, I am not a good forecaster
And She was not that good forecaster
Audibly none is that perfect worthily
Adducing, we all are artists worthily.

But she did not know well to count
Boldly, to count meteor’s step out.
Bustle, it came and took her wholly
Wholly handing her tickling beauty.

Cruelly, curtained from her bathroom
Carted from bathroom to dead’s room
Crowned, it eternally took her wholly
Wholly handing her tickling beauty.

Definitely, she is an elevated artist
Decorously, a perfect-enough artist
Descent artist to design a post-life.
Wholly she had a tickling beauty.

Educator she did became ever since
Ever since a cursed meteor took her.
Evaporated, she did leave me empty
Empty, fully, without a matriarch.
