Best Worrying Poems
~Introduction~
Sometimes our mind takes us on a wrong turn,
And we find ourselves on Worry Boulevard.
Oh, whatever to do?
" Winding Down"
Well, for starters, acknowledge your mind and thank it,
for sharing whatever it did with you.
It will keep you in it clutches, if you allow it to!!
Remember the deep breathing?
"Smell the fresh roses, and after that, blow out the candles."
Well, then do it, it's a peaceful meeting.
Soft music that leads your mind on poetic trails, that are magical,
is just so perfect for you.
Women, can ponder some very handsome males in their minds' view.
Remember....God loves you more than the lilies of the field, be
like them, no toil.
You make things worse with inner mental turmoil
Gratitude is your next tool. Get out your pen, and journal
what you are blessed with.
Anything from a warm cup of tea to that new dress, your loving
cat or dog~
Are breathing, living forms of creation with their loyal, velvet,
tenderness can blow away the fog.
Learn a new form of poetry and above all remember to laugh!
Don't get engrossed in a worry gaffe!
On days of worry, no news or negative movies.
Find comedy and above all~humor to soothe, thee!
A dreamy, floral bubble bath with a gentle, flickering lavender
candle.
Just thinking of that bath and beauty is more than I can handle.
Drink your cup of favorite chamomile tea~
Coffee may raise stress and your anxiety.
Positive physical contact with a family of friend.
A hug, an embrace to our hearts, peace sends!
A gentle walk in God's colorful autumn, yoga, or meditation.
Remember to think of others more on these days, that is my
heartfelt recommendation.

Opus# 1
Whether I will wither in the warmth
Or wilt with the weather,
I worry wildly!
For I'd rather,
Weep with wounds when wrapped into a wreath
Than
Get wrenched (plucked) away worthlessly!
Won’t Stop Worrying
free rein
no gain

I Can’t Stop Worrying
(Monchielle)
I can’t stop worrying
When does mothering stop
This question lives inside
People say let it go
But the pain won’t subside
I can’t stop worrying
Did I give it my best
Were they taught right from wrong
As they were growing up
I hear this like a song
I can’t stop worrying
Was it all a mistake
It’s hard to understand
While walking here below
The way a mother stands
I can’t stop worrying
Keeps ringing in my ears
I must fight this stronghold
Coming from day to day
The tears I can’t withhold
My specialty
always be prepared
worst case scenarios
rigorously examined
contingencies prepared
when possible
but there are so many
for which there is
no solution
leading to dread
leading to panic
leading to relief
when
nothing
happens
Lies do not bring relief...
and fear is fear
inviting impending doom to torment me.
Tormented then my mind is bitter and old thoughts strike
to my cha-grin
again and again,
with an irritated shadow of shame and pain retained
And so no relief from the weeping brain, the thorns remain
it's refrain are its domain
I fear.
Here you are, worrying about tomorrow
The day everyone is worrying about
Holding on to bunch of doubts,
Wishes and hopes
For everyone is a dreamer
Everyone craves for something
The rich will be watching price of gold
Others waiting to see how markets perform
Some planning vacation
While the poor worry about feeding their stomachs
Filling more worries above yesterdays' worries
For them every tomorrow is scary
Dreams do come
But worrying goes around in circle
Opening wounds of doubts
And tormenting conscious level
To ask diverse questions
While waiting for miracles to happen;
But life is not about what you worry about,
Life is about building on your dreams
So worrying about tomorrow
Carrying luggage of desires
Thinking of how you want to go down in history
Hoping only good will be on your path
Ignoring your belief,
And forgetting to be humble in spirit
Give everything to the One created you
And worrying about tomorrow wouldn't be a yoke
Stop worrying your driving me crazy...!
I will be okay I am just being lazy...
Stop worrying my brain took a break...
I just needed to split for heavens sake.
Stop worrying I will awaken...
So many of these seizures I have taken.
I know they are getting worse...
But this just isn't the first.
I am a fighter to the end...
so Honey please just be a friend...
I don't need you to cry...
For I am just not ready to die...
So please honey be strong...
I am still here nothing is wrong.
Laying here worrying
What’s on your mind?
Your silence stab’s my soul
And I’m left here wondering
What is going wrong?
Looking through photos of you
Makes me smile, you’re so Beautiful
You’re so wonderful
I want you to always be mine
Something’s gone wrong
And silence leaves me to my thoughts
My mind’s been racing
Heart’s been pacing
Cortisol is flooding my veins
Not always having you there
Would be too much loss
For a million of my hearts
to ever have to bear
You mean too much to me
Worrying is like a rocking chair.
It gives you something to do,
but it doesn't get you anywhere.
As of tomorrow the our phone service is going to be off
and we have fallen behind on the power bill,
Since the holidays are approaching things with us have been tough
only just a hand-full of people know how we feel.
The cupboards are bare and empty
there is hardly any food to eat,
My little three year old son tells me that he is hungry
I then must get up and try to find him something to eat.
Thank God he loves peanut butter sandwiches!
if he did not we would be in trouble,
Thank God he even loves ham and bologna sandwiches!
if he did not we would be in serious trouble.
My husband needs to have a root canal
but the procedure is just so expensive!
He has opted instead for the dentist to just go on ahead and pull the tooth out
that way it will not be so expensive.
But, he still cannot come up with the needed cash
therefore, he has to wait until another time,
I do not know for how long our family can continue to last
because we are really experiencing some hard times.
We are still doing without running water in our home
it has been off for a year and two months now,
I do not know when my husband is going to get running water back in our home
but I tell you what, having to haul water is wearing my body down.
The times may seem so bleak and uncertain
but at least we are facing everything head on as a family,
The Lord above will eventually ease the weight of our burdens
just as long as we pray to Him and just continue to believe.
There is no use in me sharing any tears
there is no use in me getting all riled up and mad,
All I need to do is just take in a deep breath and just deal
with the situation that is at hand.
It is not going to be like this for always
things are going to look up soon,
Straight ahead of us are much better days
and they are coming upon us real soon.
Just one of those days, no sense in worrying
because everything is going to be all right.
My worry started very early in the day;
by noon my worry had festered
and was well on it's way.
I got down on my knees to pray;
please Lord, take this worry away.
By night, I realized my worry was here to stay.
I laid down to sleep, with worry still on my mind;
I tossed and turned all night long
and awoke to a worry of a different kind.
I prayed again and asked the Lord for help-
Father, I asked, why haven't you aided me
And your promises not kept?
"Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there"
is all He asked us to do.
I looked back and saw my worry
for all that it was -
something that did not happen,
as worry seldom does.
I feel like I am drowning
Cant pull myself ashore
Floating further away
From the me
I Know no more
Sinking in my thoughts
crippling in self doubt
Please try not to listen
Let the negative thoughts be out
I feel like I am trapped
Stuck within my head
Overthinking
Worrying
I should be looking ahead
Replaying failed scenarios
From years and years ago
Why are they so relevant
Only Mr Anxiety knows
My smile it hides my struggles
My mask it hides my fears
My forehead slightly sweating
Here comes a few more tears
My body's tight with tension
My heart in rapid beat
I must stop giving my attention
To Mr Anxiety.
So many gaps are getting bigger by the day,
The gap between the rich and those that are not rich,
The gap between the famous and the infamous,
The gap between the generous and the not so generous,
The gap between the closed mouth and the open mouth,
The gap between the tree huger and the developer,
The gap between the lover and the hater,
The gap between the buyer and the seller,
The gap between the optimist and the pessimist,
The gap between the helper and the shouter,
The gap between the soother and the shooter,
The gap between the honest and the dishonest,
The gap between the renter and those below the renter,
The gap between the media and the reader,
The gap between the leaders and the bleeders,
The gap between the real and the unreal,
The gap between the inventor and those who say what for,
The gap between those with power and those without power,
The gap between the grateful and the ungrateful,
Are all very worrying,
Without adding the gaps that we continue to be inventing.
But the gap we should be really worried about,
Is the gap between thinking and doing?
In a world that is dying,
To see more doing,
And less thinking about doing.
Worry is...
the thing that will be
everywhere you see
By the time it's gone
you will be on your lawn
worrying about much
but believe in such
as everything is last-minute
like this so sit it
and forget everything to think
and sit down for one second and blink.
