Best When All Is Said And Done Poems

When All Is Said and Done

When all is said and done - my son
When all is done and said
There's nothing more to be done - my son
And nothing more to be said.

When all is cut and dried - my girl
When all is dried and cut
There's nothing more to be dried - my girl
And nothing more to be cut

When all is fair and square - my friend
When all is square and fair
There'to be is nothing more to be squared - my friend
And nothing more to be fair.

When we are dead and gone - at last
When we are gone and dead
Then everything will be gone - and past
And we will all be dead.

Yes we will all be dead - my friends
Dead as the nail in the door
Our work will all be done - my friends
And we wil strive no more.

And we will strive no more - my friends
To say and do and cut and dry
To worry our minds and search our hearts
To be fair and square and the reason why.
To find out the reason why - my friends
To fathom the reason why ????????

She swiped the lipstick across her lips
even if everyday life seemed hopeless
The path through flowers and weeds
                                   twisted in different directions
                                         pale meager illusions

                                    God knows she is exhausted
Faith, prayer for grace and hope
With eyes fixed on the sky
she kneels divine to the earth

Abandoned as a glow worm in the dark
so many walks in this labyrinth
Meek and humble to change directions
                                       Black sheep also have wool

Dear God, send down an angel
with the cross of truth, Amen

There comes a time...
There comes a time...
When all is Said and Done
There is nothing more to say or do
All the races have been run.

When all is Said and Done
There's no more music to be played
No more dances to be danced
No more gifts to give away.

When all is Said and Done
There's nothing more to lose
There is nothing more to say or do
It's time to just move on.

When all is Said and Done
There is nothing more to say
Everything has already been said
It's time to move on beyond today.

When all is Said and Done
There is nothing more to do
Everything that could be done
Has already been done
In about as many ways.

When all is Said and Done
There's nothing more to say or do
You can't go back and change the past
Moving forward is all you can do.

When all is Said and Done
All you can do is turn the page
Don't think about the "Could Have Beens"
Don't get caught in that gilded cage.

When all is Said and Done
You need to find the strength to carry on
Things might not be just how you thought they'd be
But the future can still be won.

When All Is Said and Done

Self confidence is a virtue
Which many don’t possess
When you’re feeling at rock bottom
When you’re not feeling your best

Pull yourself together
Is a common phrase that’s heard
But do they know the meaning
Behind each and every word?

We all are lacking something
Each and every one
But maybe it’s just self perception
When all is said and done

So be who you are for your sake
Don’t change for another one
Because it’s only self perception
When all is said and done

She lost her home
She lost her ‘stuff’
She lost heart – but was still tough.

When all was said and done,
She reached out to the Son -
She knew some tears and fears
But love would sing into her ears.
While night seemed so hard,
Hope shined through her lifeguard.

She lost her home
She lost her ‘stuff’
She lost heart – but remained tough.

It all happened on the day of the flood,
When so many tasted fear’s blood.
Despite the tragedy, despite the dread
She was holding on by a single thread…

She clung to the thread of His coat,
Through the dark waters, He’d keep her afloat.
She trusted in the One who came to save
With love and hope, her way He’d pave
She wasn’t just a victim of the flood
She was covered by the Savior’s blood
Because she knew the One who arose
Her joy and purpose always shows.

She lost her home
She lost her ‘stuff’
She hurt, but remained tough…

One of the victims of Helene’s devastation
Come to shake our very foundation
Despite the wreckage and all it’s debris
She knew the Father and this is the key –
To overcoming all the worst loss.
Because there is One who died on a cross,
But when the time came, He rose again…
To prepare hearts for their final amen.

She lost her home
She lost her ‘stuff’
She lost so much, but remained tough…
She remained tough!

Regarding the darkness, the treachery of man
I’ve inhaled its breath; I’ve held its hand

Look at the fate of the Jews in World War 2
Condemned by coward who killed himself to

No guts to face the horrific crimes he had done
I reckon there are those who will follow anyone

Our Son home from one war waiting on another
As I watch it tear out the heart of his mother

And after all is said and done, “Who am I”
Just an old wore out convict waiting to die

At least I have the balls to go out with a fight
Though sometimes the day recedes to the night

So tell me why is it that man acts this way
Nailed Christ to the cross one real dark day

It’s amazing we can live with what we’ve done
Just the shame that I alone carry is not any fun

One day each and every of us will meet our maker
He will either accept our soul or let Satan be the taker

When all is said and done the only thing I know
To help you get to heaven Satan could have my soul

When All Is Said and Done

When all is said and done
The curtains close on you
When darkness overcomes
You will be through
It’s true
I know
I was there once
Waiting in the depths
I was there once
Begging to be kept
I was there once
Wanting to be free
I’ll be there someday
Won’t you wait for me

When all is said and done
When all is said and done
Can read it in his words
Heavenly poem
Awesome God
When all is said and done
 I have a promise
a holy promise
That if I submit to his will
 I will be delivered
When all is said and done
I'm a follower of all his words
He's my Father
Let this be heard
When all is said and done
 I will be delivered
I have a Crown of Life
And I'll walk on streets of gold I'm to
Under the sun
Held in his arms when all is said and done

WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE

When all is said and done
When all is said and done
Said and done
Can read it in His words
Said aloud and heard
We need to heed the words
Heed the words from the bible

I have a promise
A holy promise
That if I submit to His will
(and I will)
I’ll be delivered

When all is said and done
I’ll be a follower
Of all His words
And a worker of His words
I am a follower
I’ll have a crown of life
And I’ll walk on those streets of gold
Holy are those glorious words of the Lord
Holy are the words of God…and
When all is said and done
