Premium Member There Goes the Honeymoon

My best friend just had
   her wedding ceremony
She's as hap-hap-happy
as a new bride can be

What's her groom's name, you say
  Why, it's John P. Marconi
We suspect she doesn't know
   the 'P's for Parsimony

Letter From Heaven

"Ma, How are you?
How is dad ?
How is our sweet home and how is my room?
Ma, I know you will be waiting for me,
Dad is calling my mobile continuously,
Thanks for your love my dear,
Ma, you told me only after death a person can go to hell ,
You are wrong my dear mother,
Even after marriage a person can go to hell,
Why this wedding ceremony mother to put dad and you in debt?
You can never fulfill my in-laws because they are not humans,
They can digest money, gold and silver,
How long can you feed them?
Ma, this marriage was not for me,
But for the car, the motor bike, the jewels, the furnitures,
Because they want only those to be with them and not me,
Ma, I know how much dad struggled to make my wedding a grand success,
But my mother -in- law says his son’s life has turned a failure,
They find fault in everything I do, even if I sit or stand,
I don’t know what to do and I simply stand,
Ma, I think He doesn’t like me,
He really knows nothing about marriage or wife,
He thinks wife as a slave and a living doll for her Mom to play and hurt,
They make my body burn, bleed and sore
It is paining ma,
He needs me in night and in the mornings out of his sight,
Ma , how long to grope in darkness ,
Now I have become blind,
They in the name of marriage have bought a richest maid,
My whole body has become numb,
Ma, I am not able to feel myself,
Is this my gender curse?
Ma, but you don’t worry all my problems are going to end,
I cannot let it flow all time ,
I am going to bring a solution for this,
I know who can bring an end to this,
I have come to meet him now,
But there is a big queue ma,
No wonder ! I am going to meet him today,
Ma, only he can resolve this,
Because he created women,
This negotiation is not for my life which ended just 10 mins back,
But for my next birth,
If I have a next birth I want to be only a man,
Ma, you are still waiting for me near the doors,
Dad is still trying for my mobile,
But I will never come,
Ma, I promise you,
When I meet God I will ask only to change my sex and not my parents."

Wedding Day

She cried at the wedding ceremony
Happy tears, like beautiful peonies
They didn't wed
Like she had said
So she won a ton of U O Me's.

Premium Member The Year 2012

With two months left to go, in the year of 2012, I must not be too complacent.
However the first ten months have brought much joy and few sorrows.
The most exciting events have been the four weddings of young relatives.
My youngest grandson's wedding came first and I was not invited.
He and his intended flew off to Hawaii for the wedding, with their attendants.
The rest of us had to be satisfied with an invitation to their reception after they returned home. My wedding gift to my grandson and his bride was a professionally framed and sealed and museum glassed copy of my double poem, "The Bride's Prayer and The Bridegroom's Prayer". in hopes that it would last as long as I deeply wanted their marriage to last.

The other three weddings were the results of many months of planning and I received a formal invitation to each one. In late August my great-grandniece married her fiance in a military wedding. The reception was held in the Officers Club and was planned to the last detail. In September my own great-granddaughter held her wedding in my
yard and the weather cooperated beautifully. It was small, around fifty guests. Rented decorated tables held a feast worthy of a more opulent wedding. The groom was as handsome and the bride as beautiful as those in the wedding magazines they had consulted in order to avoid the high expense of a wedding planner.

The last wedding was held the last Saturday in October and the bridegroom was my favorite great-grandnephew. His beautiful bride was dressed in a lovely formal gown, under which she wore...cowgirl boots. Her eight attendants wore flirty. short, black dresses and...cowgirl boots. Western music was played and a catered meal of Western food was served to the two hundred guests. No expense was spared for this wedding. It was held at a remodeled cattle barn which has been turned into a beautiful social hall and rented out for just such occasions. The minister said it was the twenty-fifth wedding ceremony held in that building at which he had officiated.

These were all joyous affairs and my prayer is that all parties will all be able to observe their 75th anniversaries and are still as happy as on these, their wedding days.

A Foolish Wish of a Non-Blue-Blooded Queen

Lynn, the tom-boy of Herald Square, couldn't be compared to Princess
Diana, or a similar one for finesse to perfectly fit in a royal scene;
that ordinary gal had a foolish wish of a non-blue-blooded Queen,
who rarely smiled, or said, " Thank you. " when they offered her a rose.
Her dad knew people in high places that loved green,
and he wanted her to look good to get more praise
and attention by squandering lots of money
on a wedding, not worth the social status and the stupidity;
to the wedding ceremony no royalty came only family and friends...
you would have had the impression that Queen Elisabeth
would have walked into the hall and congratulate her!
Eh, wasn't that a foolish wish of a non-blue blooded Queen?
Folks, don't nod in disapproval, the story gets better as it should;
the guests waited outside Saint Patrick's the Cathedral expecting a limousine...
not quite so! The royal coach pulled by two gray horses stopped at the curb,
the bride zoomed out dragging along the broom, not allowing him to greet anyone;
someone shouted, " Pretty boy, what's her rush? Why is she so jealous? He stared
at that upset gal and muttered, " Sorry " while his left ear was being pinched hard.
Bear with me a little bit longer, the best is yet to come, enjoy this comedy!
" Idiot! Idiot! Don't embarrass me!" Gino whispered...
" I shouldn't embarrass you in front of Miss Universe? "
" I will marry you...for worse, not for better! " Lynn vowed with madness,
and barging in, she forgot to pick up her wedding dress and tripped
and fell on her butt sliding down the isle while onlookers were filled with incredibility...
then she ran out stepping on Cardinal Cooke's foot who was returning from a wake!
The wedding was called off, and Gino was reproved by his mom for his mistake.
After reading my drama, who would have a foolish wish of a non-blue-blooded Queen?
Making drastic changes by acting on foolishness, doesn't make one look so keen.

The Lady In White

People ask why does she wear white? She's a bride.
A bride in a lovely white dress.
Do you not see her bouquet of flowers in her hands?
Flowers all gathered in a bunch.
A bouquet of beautiful flowers for a bride.
Lovely flowers for a beautiful bride.
She sees her beloved fiance standing at the other end of the isle.
The priest stands in the center of the groom to be
The groom awaits for his beautiful fiance right next to his best man.
He waits for her patiently so the ceremony can finally begin.
She walked behind her flower girl who tosses flowers towards the ground.
A bride walks down the isle beside her father.
She smiles at her guest as she walks by holding her father's arm firmly.
As she stands next to her groom to be and smiles
The ceremony finally begins as the priest speaks
The two listen while the priest speaks
The priest finally says will the two of you please say your vows.
The bride and groom exchange vows.
Rings are also exchanged between the Groom and bride.
The best man and Maid of honor place a lace over the two
A lace represents eternal unity.
The priest finally says to the groom
You may now kiss the bride.
The groom gently lifts a section of the bride's veil which covers her face
Places it back to give her a kiss.
The two share that moment along with every guest and loved ones
When the wedding ceremony is over.
The bride and groom leave out of the wedding chapel they wait for the guest outside
At last here comes the bride and groom
Everyone cherish with joy towards the happy newly weds.
The newly weds share another kiss.
This is a wedding ceremonial

A couple are wed
At a tiny chapel
On a country road
The guest are waiting
Outside to congratulate

The guest gather outside
only the wedding party
Are allowed inside
For the wedding ceremony
The guest greet thecouple
When they come outside
Throwing rice at them

When they leave the chapel
They go somewhere for photos
While the guest travel
To the reception hall

When the meal is served
A toast to bride and groom
Then throw the bouquet
With dancing music follows

Premium Member White Roses In Subtle Elegance

White roses stand in subtle elegance,
simplicity with no neutral color, but splendor.
Very formal in reverent sheer awe of fragrance
innocence and freshness poses nature renders.

A wedding ceremony under a spreading tree,
on a grassy lawn, edged with a rose garden.
A beauteous arch adorn with white tulle,
shimmering clear lights, and white rose garland.
A romantic ambiance to say their vows outdoors.

She wears a V-neck long flowing white chiffon
and satin gown; rhinestones adorn the waist.
She holds a bouquet of fragrant white roses,
stem wrapped tight in white satin ribbon
and spiraling down three rhinestone streamers
to complement the elegant wedding dress.

He is flattering in casual western wear, black tie,
and a single white rose boutonnière pin to his vest.

Dreams do come true, a promise to each other.

Premium Member Sempiternity Love

Mossy vines served as camouflage for a decaying headstone
Lying the corpse of his beloved in the antique cemetery
Betrayed by her heart that stopped by immense emotions
Losing the flower of his garden in their wedding ceremony

Tomb was visited by the weeping gentleman every morning
Leaving a bouquet of white roses as a symbol of their love
Remembering the day when they met in an afternoon stroll
Recognizing each other that true love will bloom in their hearts

One year later, the gentleman was found dead near the tomb
Cemetery caretaker notified to the authorities about the decease
Heart broken heart was the determined cause of his expiration
A white rose was hidden near the tomb, as a symbol of eternal love

Marriage

Marriage

When a man and a woman first meet
they go courting together, fall in love
and finally they both decide to get married
they either meet in a church
or in some other special place of their choosing
to have the wedding celebrations.

As is customary, the groom is not supposed to
see the bride until the exchanging of the vows
as the bride walks towards the groom
it is time for the wedding ceremony to begin
they both look at each other in amazement
finding it hard to believe that
it is finally their turn to be married
they now exchange there wedding rings and vows.

The wedding ceremony is now over
as the couple approach the wedding car
which is bound for their wedding reception
there, they give thanks to their families and friends.
It is a now the start of their new life together
as husband and wife they depart on their honeymoon.
It is their decision whether to have children or not
but all of this must be a total commitment
of love and marriage.

Ginger's Marriage

Ginger cat decides to marry.
His *****cat lives in the yard.
Tri-color coat she wears wary,
On her lips – a beautiful pomade.
A manicure, eye-lashes, a hat …
Ginger loved all that in his *****cat.
It was her birthday when he
Made her ??an offer his wife to be.
*****cat loved ginger, it was not a spoof,
Wedding ceremony was made on the roof.
An old cat has come to the party,
He brought a large sweet patty.
There have come two little mice,
Little kittens were naughty but nice.
At the wedding was a puppy
Funny creature was so stumpy.
Cats have come from all the yards,
Flowers were from boulevards.
The marriage choir was like a beep,
Till morning no one could sleep.

Perfidy Duplicity - Angst

I was deeply in love .
I did not know why our relationship should not be.
He said let’s get marry.
I begin to write vows for our wedding.

We planned our fusing in late June and he canceled in early May.
The message said:
I canceled our nuptial because I am already married.

I am pregnant and do not know what to do.
I should have never had sex with you boo.
You have canceled our wedding ceremony because you are conjugal.
I have been damned by my own desires.

This cancellation is unkempt.
You have deceive the wrong person.
Therefore, our life will meet again.
A healthy child I will deliver.
A normal life I have been given.

The receiver of the message said:
I refuse to let you out of this when I am pregnant.
However, our separate ways make sense.
In the future, we will meet again.

Salt comes in white and a beautiful pink

Premium Member This Was It

I stood up to the plate
there was no way I wouldn’t give my all
I knew I would be tested with everything I had

there would be no makeover, no redo
this was it, the show stopper
the call for the performance of a lifetime

the final scene of the last act
be brave, it was now or never
it had finally all led to this

as loud as loud could be
I heard it in the silence of forevers
‘come on, give us all you’ve got’

and so it was I took my husband home
the hospital said the end was near
it was the final curtain call

his mind was tainted, not all there
thankful the end hadn’t come more abruptly
make every moment count is what I heard

so it was I would prepare my love
much like for a formal wedding ceremony
for the moment I’d walk him through the garden
down that aisle right up to heaven’s gate
