Raindrops

Raindrops
are like my thoughts
falling down into my mind
sending goose bumps down
my spine

Their cool aftermath
cleanses me of my thoughts
of fear and uncertainty
about what tomorrows
pain may bring

They make me feel,
wet with creativity
drenched in my optimistic
illumination. glistening
raindrops, my thoughts
leave paths of pleasurable
distress, and hope of success
which road, less traveled
may be the best

Forget an umbrella
when these raindrops
arrive, I walk outside
arms open wide

Ready to Receive
whatever
the mind storm may bring
because raindrops are
as my thoughts, falling
down into my mind
sending shivers down
my spine

My brain, yearns
for the rain, to wash away
the pain, tomorrows worry
does bring
One special drop
could speed up life's clock
to the time
I can handle my own
and not dwell inside my controllers
home

For raindrops are,
like my thoughts
falling down into my mind
sending goose bumps
down my spine

Hymn of the Sidhe At Uaigh Na Gcat

Where regal forts lie dormant now,
Once Maedbh beheld the Sacred Cow,

At Cruachan of the fifty mounds,
From Uaigh na gCat came Faery sounds,

A vision, behold, Róisín Dubh,
Symphony of my stolen love,

Never before a sight so fair,
Like Adams ale flowed burning hair,

'Come now young seeker, take my hand,
And come with me to Faery land'

And then she hummed her Faery tune,
Invoking ages of the moon,

'For who but you may understand,
The grieving whispers of this land?'

Blessed am I, behold this sight,
The Sídhe summon me tonight,

'And who but you may come to know,
The seraphic language of the crow?'

'Come now young seeker, from the cold,
And know not sickness, death nor old'

Then louder grew her Faery tune,
And slowly I began to swoon,

'You once were children of the Sun,
Where heroes dwelt there now are none'

'Deepest silence, they must endure,
But not for you whose soul is pure'

'The time will be upon us soon,
To sing the chorus of the moon'

At Cruachan of the fifty mounds,
From Uaigh na gCat came Faery sounds,

Boldly now I took her hand,
And off we went to Faery land

Row the Boat

Just row the boat,
Just row the boat,
Even if unknown why.
Just row the boat,
Just row the boat,
And man, you'll go high.

Just row the boat,
Just row the boat
Even if your hands give up.
Just row the boat,
Just row the boat,
Even if you've had enough.

Just row the boat,
Just row the boat,
Even if you're stalked by sharks.
Just row the boat,
Just row the boat,
No matter how grotesque bruise marks.

If you row the boat,
If you row the boat,
You may reach luck's open arms.
If you row the boat,
If you row the boat,
No more emptiness in your palms.

If you row the boat,
If you row the boat,
At least, you gained exercise.
If you row the boat,
If you row the boat,
The decision; remarkably wise.

If you row the boat,
If you row the boat,
Mistake; an antonym.
If you row the boat,
If you row the boat,
You may just reach Him

Patriotism

The coral crumbles, and paradise is overthrown in sand
And they pour the children into it like water upon tongues
What the breeze blows in my eyes cannot blind my tears

Your captains do not know the shoals like me, I dreamed awake
Among the reefs, before the breakers plundered everything
I long now to hold your rudder, but time has rot the ropey ladder

Night and day, high tides and low, I sob to mount the slippery deck
Where the tropic spray may slap may face and brace me to the plank
Until I dock the fairest ship in history's fairest weather

An Empty Illusion

You may not know, as emptiness surrounds you everywhere you go
If you could see behind a different eye,
would it be a friend or a foe?
Pain is smooth at the surface
Triggering the roots from down below
Ceases to hide behind your pride
Following you, as you continue to grow
Glancing upon a broken surface
You hide from your own reflection
You hide from all you know
Emptiness cannot be seen or heard
So you yourself, may never know

A Rose For a Rosecution By Poefree

or A COFFER OR A COFFIN

“Rage on,” my friend said unto me
“Guard what’s yours with urgency
For walls can be scaled by scoundrels and enter your domain
So keep a steady eye on what treasures you were blessed to own
Small trinkets of gold or a large diamond ring
never allow a stranger to lodge with you or accept that which he may bring
Lest your coffer be missing when sister sun shines in a criminal’s eyes
Be wise and wizened by wisdom wrought of rightful indignation
And let no man diminish you nor cause ye somewhere to surrepticiusly hide
Avoiid not the fact for every man to know where you alone can be found
with armaments for destruction, devastation and all out war be yours
Allow the will of your castle never to be denied
As you hide not the pride you feel inside
And grow greater from all the grief
Stand stagnant ready to be relegated to belief
The fact that no man is unable to protect himself
if be he armed with confidence
The necessary weapon that will bring his enemies down
And the conviction akin to the rosacution seen within his glare
With a countenance of strength
For you were birthed, born, made, created, and molded by the steady hand of the
overlord of our universe
So suffer no man’s ill will nor any fruitless curse
And as unfolds your destiny decided long ago
No matter what the masses may say
I say, Rage on my friend
Because to you I might seem very kind
But turn your back on my shadow
and I’ll rob your f******g castle blind

Sitting in my Deer stand
Upon my Uncles land
Feel the simple breeze
As it whispers through the trees

Waiting for the Deer
Not a single hint of fear
Hear the leaves rustle
In all of the bustle

As they encroach
The closer they approach
It’s really really strange
As they cross the range

As you hear the gun go CRACK
I may have hit his back
He stumbles gently away
And falls where he may lay

I must wait until he dies
Let alone through the cries
I am through with the season
Since I have accomplished my reason

Uncle Bill I thought of you when
I wrote this and wanted to make
Sure that you got it

Greener Grass

There’s no harm in trying
Some days you can’t go wrong
There’s no harm in falling
When you do…listen to this song

I’ve been happy
Good Lord knows I’ve been sad
Faced the world head on
And took the good with the bad

Some days you wake up
And wish they’d be over
Some days you wake up
And they're filled with clover

         I’m still warm
         No I’m not cold
         I won’t live forever
         May not grow old

         I can’t hang on tomorrow
I can’t dwell on yesterdays sorrow
I won’t see the days new dawn
         If today I’m already gone

Sometimes you’re out in the cold
Sometimes caught in the storm
Sometimes your bones are aching
Searching for some feeling good warm

Sometimes you’ll feel all alone
Like you just can’t find a friend
Sometimes the worlds on your shoulder
And you’ll break at the bend
God is my witness
This to shall pass…
And it will bring
Greener grass

          I’m still warm
          No I’m not cold
          I won’t live forever
          May not grow old

          I can’t hang on tomorrow
I can’t dwell on yesterdays sorrow
I won’t see the days new dawn
          If today I’m already gone

Like all of Gods good creatures... Ya gotta keep, keeping on
Like all of Gods good creatures…Ya gotta keep, keeping on...Ya gotta keep, keeping on

This Too Will Pass...

This too will pass...Dark days will appear, but we must hold on;
We will shed tears, but know, we are never alone.

This too will pass...Tribulations may occur, but it is not the end;
Happiness 24/7 is what we all prefer, but know, hearts don't break, they bend!

This too will pass...Sometimes through our fears, mistakes will be made.
When a window of opportunity appears, don't pull down the shade!

This too will pass...You may not have a plan, but when you do, follow through;
Because every man is guilty of all the good he didn't do!

This too will pass...There will be emotional ails, but believe me you will not die;
Don't be afraid to fail, be afraid to try!

Premium Member The Loss of Vision

This is to all of you who have two good eyes to see.
Most of you don’t know what has been happening to me.
My vision has been experiencing steady declining.
Objects have become more difficult in defining.
One takes for granted every visualization,
denying possibilities of an occasion
when the total loss of sight becomes realization.
One day, I may not be able to see the day’s light
I may be entrapped in constant, perpetual night.
This is what happens when one loses the sense of sight.
This is a situation that can render great fright.

Sight is of the five senses, of greatest importance.
Without it, one does not truly have independence.
It forces one to be dependent on other’s aid
This scenario is enough to make one afraid.
It makes one vulnerable to others in the field.
In crossing the street when alone, their fate can be sealed.
Another tax deduction comes for deprivation.
However, no one considers that compensation.
One can’t always make an independent decision.
Everyday life is more difficult without vision.

How To Hug

i may be the last person to tell you this
i may be the first too
when i stopped to exchange time with you
i saw sincerity there
you did not hear about the troubles, the trials and misguided thoughts
what you got
was my entire moment of time
i know the news as of late is bad
i know there are others not as willing to hear
i know you stopped to listen to
an exchange between two
the courtesy of the beginning of my loving you
there will be no complaint in my words here
no attempt at a wisdom meant to harm
you quite simply get
the best i leave you with
know this my fellow exchange
i have come this far, thus far. . . and walked away
to keep my arms open for you
for the day
you finally learn how to hug

Chosen

I was chosen before my time.
Listen very close this is not just a rhyme.
My life was known before I was born yet,
Time had to come around the horn.
Now I am here with a job to do,
Part of my job is to watch over you.
Yes I am a keeper and I must be kept,
For another brother’s died while I have slept.
The poison metal pipes are going around,
Flowing in, flowing out and all around town.
Earning a day’s wages and still in need,
Then the poison metal pipes help kill a seed.
We’ve been accused for doing most of the wrong,
And if we’re not careful, we’ll believe all the long.
In the midst of it all, others round about me fall,
STILL, I am destined to answer my call.
My call is from above to both young and old,
So what I am telling you, I am only being told.
By one most know of, and they may know OF Him well,
But its not enough to know of,
THAT’S THE REASON WHY OTHERS FELL!!!
You see I owe you as a brother, and I owe Him as a Father
So I am here for Him, and there’s really no bother.
I will do what I’ve been destined to, this I know is right.
During the morning, during the evening, and into the night.
I’ve been called, picked out, with a mission ahead.

And if you don’t take heed, you may wind up dead.
You see, dead is being more than without a beat,
It is also being held under another’s feet.
Not thinking for yourself, influenced by the WRONG others,
Persuaded by some BOYS, and then, becoming mothers.
Not following the wisdom of our parents from old,
Not wanting to take heed to what we are told.
We are leaders by nature and
We can’t help this,
Still the way some of us are leading,
Others will never reach this bliss.
You can not be a leader less you have someone to follow,
But whom can you lead, the strong or the hollow.
We do not have long in this earthly place,
Yet its not about the color, the gender or the race.
Its about being a soldier and the chain of command,
The torch has now been put into my own hands.
You see they’re many torches, all in the hands of the same,
Strong minds, strong willed with the backup of
“THE NAME”
The end is soon to come so I must go now,
But you have already been chosen for right here and now.
You are the next leaders, I would give it some thought,
Because you have not only been “CHOSEN”, but;
You’ve also been

BOUGHT !!!

Discovery

Inspiration is like:

A virtual hotwire to a higher power
"it" could be a cloudless day
a summers rain shower
or a soaring bridge over the tossing bay

like: climbing all in one leap
the tower of observation
to look out or in, to jump out or creep
up on the object of ones consideration

a path in to the source
out through the door or,
on through the verdant course
to where the spirit can soar

to overlook the teeming world below
to interconnect, introspect, NOT to subject
to capture a moment within the flow
not to object, or prospect to reject

to discover a dimly percieved coorelation
as it passes on some mental stream
or survives the fragmentation
of a dream

to flee eagerly the confines
through a passage to a hidden core
to overcome "their" defines
to become gratefully, so much more

Listen...to hear only what you wish, is unwise
listening for what's expected may cause dismay
truth is sometimes obscured, or in disguiise
but not really hidden, only unbidden, in some casual way

Discovering may only require:

  the desire.

Lost

I am the lost children
I am he who has wandered astray
                         I am the darkened wood
               Witness my abscence of fear
Feel the power of my rage
               My spirit knows not defeat
in the face of my enemies
                             for I am Defiant
And I will never yield to the forces
                          that seek to hinder me
Beware all that is Evil, for my will
is the sword that smites you
               I am the Black sheep
                            and my brothers keeper
My wrath is that of justice
                       I am strong
so that I may protect the weak
                      I am lost
so that I may find them.
