I appreciate knowing nothing
trying to let the weight of the world
 rest
somewhere out of sight
viewable only through a glass tube
or a scientific device operated with skill

     alongside this
   I...

Cocoa(Nuts) In Punta Cana
Four palms, one taller, the other three measure the same.
Heavily anchored in sand, all are vertical climbers of this azure sky.
Eight new fronds per palm, the older ones neatly trimmed by man.
No cocoanuts anywhere to be seen, their hazard great, if allowed to fall.
Growing 40-50...

Remembering Tv of the 1950s
Remembering TV of the 1950s

By Elton Camp

About TV, this little account is told
From when I was twelve years old
Because it was along about then
When TV fascination did begin

The programming choices were few
The channels we received were two
A massive antenna was the only way
There existed no...

The Forgotten Lover

she dances in front of me
airborne on weighted wings,
burdened in detailed details.

blind to my eyes she stays
purposely hidden
but e'ver so viewable inside

in graceful soundless flight
doing daily do's and don'ts
arms spread wide, lips in wait

nobly christened to serve
giving a must
trusted beyond

she...

My Mind Is Not a Crash Test
I wish you loved me more.
I always feel like your looking for the door.
Don’t say it isn’t true.
When you know it is what you do.
Emotionally
I think you're through.
Now it’s up to me
to catch a clue.

My mind
Is not a crash test.

Dummy!
The things I fear you say...

Tortured Media
the game we play of how to escape a concentration camp
music movies and art
there seem to be people tortured in our media
michael jackson...Britney spears...Jay Leno...

nothing since i have been alive has ever topped
what the media has done to mr. bobbit
The man and wife had a...

A Rose Doth Be But What a Rose Doth Be.
That flowering petal is the flag to a nose...
It's signal's is it's beautiful but uncommon sense of one lone single rose.

Leaves often than naught fall all due to a lifely end...
This lone rose does often wilt and fall and likely bend.

A rose cannot fight off...

A Year Gone By
Has it really been a year gone by
Watching the flame of
The single candle on your cake you try
I think back on the year gone by
From hearing it’s a girl
To holding you in my arms
I don’t know who’s grown more
You or I
I remember when your eyes...

Kite Like That
The life of a loner is equivalent to a lost kite
Viewable from all angles,
Yet the finer details remain obscure
Floating away from grasps of the common person
Many do not prioritize viewing a lost kite
Like the kite, the loner is miles away from companionship
The constant...

My “I Do” vow also pledged me to urine somehow.
My kids, pets and more have stores of pee upsets -
scores of dried tinkle spots only visible with miracles!
I can’t see cat wee in houseplant dirt but
I can and do threaten viewable feline hurt.
I have wetting...

Upon the Firmament of Hindsight
No rocket surgeon,
     nor brain scientist called upon
but only Rudolf the red nose reindeer
solicited as psychological mentor
yes...undoubtedly countless
     decades removed since *****

Premium Member Beware the Otters
Of many times we have in life,
Like some within the water.
A charm it seems, but darkness rife,
The mean and precious otter.

When first you glance, how beautiful,
And cute from feet to ears,
But deep inside, not viewable,
Is more than it appears.

The otter, such savage beast,
which kills it’s...

Enlightment of Reality
Ah!

It really blows
living sorely below
breathing in
Nauseating amounts
Of fumes
which leaves me
light-headed
which ultimately
plagues me
like an infectious cancer.
I’m oppressed
from all
viewable sides.
I’m like caged
with
76 straight jackets
bundling me.
It is
kind of stuffy.

I just wish the heaven’s
Wouldn’t intake
So much beans
Because it truly reeks
Between the cracks
Of life.

Ah!
Not again!!...
