Premium Member Walking In the Footsteps of Jesus Christ

Walking side by with Jesus Christ.
Walking in footsteps. Walking
in his footsteps every day.

Walking side by side with the
Son of Man. Listening and
learning his life's lessons.

Walking side by side with the
Son of God. Worshiping
And praising him every day.

Walking in the footsteps of our
Savior and Lord. Worshiping and
praising his holy name every day.

Walking side by side with the
Good Shepard. Leading us
to his green pastors every day.

Walking side by side by our Victorious
King. Through eternal ages let our
worshipful praising be every day.

     "Victorious Love"

bleeding wounds of broken flesh stained wooden cross
crown of thorns imprinted pain upon His Head
scattered pieces of red robe gambled for toss
sword pierced side as water flowed proclaiming dead.

agonizing death laid in cold darkened tomb
tears cascading sorrow from a Mother's womb.

broken promises appeared to fade away
love defeated death in bright sunshine array.

in fabric of intense love lies mystery
infusing scattered heartache makes one stronger
Deity broke pattern for hate to steal glee
delicate woven tapestry lives longer.

though pedestal may shatter as fragile glass
while harsh wors will hurt deeply as sounding brass.

victory in love and life feels forgiveness
restoring souls to heavenly happiness.

Premium Member Jesus, the Outcast, Is Victorious

Essentially, there are two opposite Christologies.
Jesus as King, Jesus as outcast
Scripture plays with both
But the 2nd speaks to me far more powerfully

I like the idea of a Savior
Lives with the meek and poor
The humble and humiliated
A Savor that says power and wealth are obstacles to spiritual health

A former sheepherder
Understood not being able to rest until those in your care are all recovered and safe
Lines from Psalm 118 repeated in Acts 4:11

Applied to Jesus
One of numerous places appears in the New Testament
The seeming paradox of these two cristologies are reconciled
The humiliated is triumphant; the one cast out is now at the center

As the resurrection account has unfolded in the gospel readings
We see the rejected one
Seemingly destroyed by earthly powers

A brief tempest now
Perhaps the dawn will some soon
Dreams from my father come soon

My God is glorious
Every day I feel victorious
Let's sing out loud, so the entire world can hear
Live within the spirit so you can be without fear
I’m not really thinking about tomorrow, I'm focused on today
On bended knees to my Lord Jesus I pray
I want to be your humble servant this is so true
I love you deeply and I'll do anything for you
They’re so many of us who are full of strife and struggles that are all around
It seems as though the shackles and chains have so many bound
Be patient blessings will come down
But your faith must be of solid sound
Father God you prepare me for battle that’s coming my way
Thanks be to you that this is conquered on every day
Holy, holy and to His glory
Jesus is an awesome…. To God be the victory

Revelation 4:11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Victorious

Written August 22, 2012

When I can squalor victorious
It's when I'll say
That I'm a ruthless young hooligan
Just for today

Here in the bedroom
Crime pours out in the evergreen
Bombarding on the beauty scene
Oh are you with me?

Charisma kills politically
Now and then it comes for me
Visionaries comfort thee
Coast to coast from sea to sea

Here in the bedroom
Colors flow across the morning sky
So beautiful I want to cry
Oh are you with me?

When I claim it in the name of us
It's when I'll say
That I'm as wild as a blunderbuss
Just for today

Premium Member Victorious Through the Saviour

We dare say that we have a victorious Saviour

Who enables functionality in our behaviour…

Let each one be a triumphant prayer warrior

confessing that we are faithless,* in need of our courageous Superior!

I Am Victorious

I want to be the only one who'll outlive the others. I want to stay healthy and fit for a long, long, time. There's always such thing as, "living life to its fullest." It seems that at the end of the day and a life-changing journey that includes losing weight and stuff, I will be the victorious one. Every victory counts in life and the lives of every individual possible. What's so great about being victorious is when he or she has accomplished something in life like giving back to the communities, helping the homeless, finding the cure for life0threating diseases, and/or stuff. Being victorious also means that we're becoming a bunch of self-proclaimed living legends. In all dreams and in the real world, we're all lucky to be alive and victorious. The greatest thing about being alive is when everybody's making wise decisions like dieting and exercising, staying away from a bunch of cold, heartless criminals, and so on. And at the end of the day, in God's eyes, we are all victorious. Victory is, and will always be ours.

Premium Member The Worse Is Over

I have been up and down the valley
I have been honored and dishonored
Good and bad times have been my lot
In my search for happiness and fulfillment
I have been to hell and back
False accusations wet my pillow nightly
Isolation was constant companion
I was despised and hated
When I longed for recognition and love
I was brutalized and dehumanized
When I searched for empathy and humanity
I was object of mockery and disdain
When my heart yearned for acceptance and respect
I was invited to high society as guest
But on each occasion turned
Back in disgrace and rejection
I have gone round the circle and back
And standing tall and victorious
For I have conquered all my adversaries
The worse is over

O'Er Here Lies Victorious Sin

As the dream went the women screamed for Chucky Baudelaire

Side scene alleyway dark night
Foot steps timidly trekked along the broken glass, sinner's hour

Oscar Wilde was alive and well with bourbon laden jovial tales

It was a languid night a night for lords to piss about, hens to cackle, ravens to make love

The ink was then my blood and poison, my god and death

As the dream went the women lusted after Edgar Poe
I was contently bitter and hidden in a meadow of urban shadows cast by tall, stark, unforgiving dens of
depravity...these dens suit me well

The witching hour sky was wild and held the grin of my demon foe
Singing now are the cigarettes falling from the sky...
A most peculiar yet familiar night

I am awake again nowhere... pretending to be your chivalrous poet

Premium Member Victorious Ending

Tightening around me, the world seems so frightening,
Sensing that fear and heartbreak is routine, really darkening
Climbing to heights that we never thought possible, now sinking,
Slithering, around every country, continent on this planet, horrifying!

Agony, over 2 million people alone die, while the virus is laughing,
Beckoning for more to follow, like the Pied Piper his flute playing,
Spitting its hateful spew wherever, not fussy, but creating,
Heightening statistics, which some people in power kept ignoring!

This is a war between good and evil, will the latter come forth unleashing
Its despicable wrath, or will good encompass comforting and brightening,
This New Year with incredible warmth, peace and love, thus yielding,
Not to evil, but to the people on earth, enough is enough, start believing,

And be faithful and grateful, God will help us be victorious!

Premium Member Victorious Bliss

Bouncing from pain, surmounting woe
my faith trusts God for vibrant glow
while courage conquers rough terrain
surmounting woe, bouncing from pain.

I pray for grace midst hatred’s wrath
that grants hope from grim aftermath
asking the Lord for divine brace
midst hatred’s wrath, I pray for grace.

With heaven’s zeal to fight despair
triumphant over gloomy scare
my trust rests in Christ while I kneel
to fight despair with heaven’s zeal.

Against guilt’s blight for pardon quest
my heart beseeches to be blest
humbly seeking peace-filled delight
for pardon quest against guilt’s blight.

Victorious bliss… such marks my soul
along struggles that make me whole
always thanking God, I won’t miss
such marks my soul… victorious* bliss.

*1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Victorious Deliverer

February 14 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 21-24

Key Verse– Numbers 21:3 And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY VICTORIOUS DELIVERER

Lord God, You are my victorious Deliverer along Your winning assurance
Thank You for fighting against my discouragement’s appearance
Also conquering my loathsome arrogance midst stubborn temperance
Surely smiting my carnality of vain endurance.

Lord God, You are my victorious Deliverer along Your perfect direction
Thank You for pulling me from the wilderness of worldly devastation
Also protecting me from sword of humanistic destruction
Surely saving me against captivity of fleshly consumption.

Lord God, You are my victorious Deliverer along Your set design
Thank You for rescuing me from distress that evil schemes assign
Also guarding me from curses to which my soul could resign
Surely upholding me against quitting You refuse to sign.

Lord God, You are my victorious Deliverer along Your gracious hand
Thank You for enclosing my heart with Your compassion so grand
Also sealing me around Your holiness of good works’ demand
Surely preventing me against not obeying Your command.

Lord God, You are my victorious Deliverer along Your honourable deed
Thank You for building me up upon Your strong foundation I need
Also strengthening my faith by Your Word indeed
Surely setting me toward Your standards I must heed.

Lord God, You are my victorious Deliverer along blessings You declare
Thank You for smashing my selfishness moved by personal welfare
Also teaching me generosity of loving care
Surely hedging me against enchantments of emptiness-flair.

Lord God, You are my victorious Deliverer along Your sovereign dominion
Thank You for instructing me to avoid deceitful opinion
Also preserving me from compromises’ union
Surely ushering me by Your truth to serve while looking toward Zion.

Premium Member Victorious Death

Breathing out serenely mortal breath’s end
Dad faced death, courageously triumphant
Leaving us faith’s legacy to ascend…
Midst infirmity, staying jubilant
Exposing countenance so radiant.

In our struggle to conquer grievous pain
God’s grace gripped us with life’s marvelous gain
Assuring victory* over grave’s might;
Thus, we trust His love of eternal reign
‘Til we meet Dad in forever delight.

1Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
