Premium Member Steeped In Virginal Dreams

Knowledge gained liberates or mutilates.
Ramifications of reality’s realm reached
make your insides want to abandon the body ship.
Rocking back and forth as you hurl dry acidic pain
expelled by the force of shell shocked lucidity:
You’re not good enough to be loved.

Breathing in is treason.
Your heart demands release of life’s lease.
On the kitchen floor
crumpled dreams drag to prostrate form.
Alone…..
Every reason to stay is obliterated.
Ascorbic failures scream.
Heart blood transforms to salty rivulets.
Self-loathing usurps the throne of belief.
"Appeasement sacrifice,” it sagely suggests…
"Your life!"

Relevant Reasoning...
For someone for whom love is cell oxygen
grey matter food
supreme soul sustenance,
life without full bodied Love is death.
Might as well...

Cowardice cackles and goads….
The cut isn’t deep enough.
Red streaked line mockery of mental hell feels
abhorrence breathing between the sobs
that one hears …
No one hears

Troubled mind has drained desirability’s delight.
Not strong enough to live not strong enough to die,
you are spent…
negligence purged.
Silence begs to benumb,
yet a reminder remains.

The thorn of truth finds a home.
Embedded in my side,
it won’t be denied.
Removal immuned
it is unseen by naked eye-
exposed to the naked heart.
With every movement of love making
matrimonial mattress yet exudes
the faint scent of virginal dreams...
Pain permeates

It digs in deep.
Nothing will change.
YOU cannot change.
You are unlovable.
You're troubled and troubling brain
takes beauty down to notch of insane.

Give it all away.
Lavish and ravish.
Obsessively bid for love
while you auction respect away,
but herein is the cursed truth:

You are not good enough to be loved.
You never were.
You never will be.

Autumn's Aria

As crisp chill usurps the summer air
Autumn flirts with every colored tree
Coaxing with musical wind so fair...
Fall leaves dance to death quite willingly,
Spin in pirouettes so wild and free.

As leaves with stunning colors now rest
In a quilt to warm the earth below,
These jewels arrayed to look their best
Add such pleasure to sweet autumn's glow
In the glory that her gifts bestow.

Halloween will share with so much fun
Kids adorned in costumes...scary, sweet,
As the full moon's glow replaces sun
From door to door they will trick or treat;
Hear their laughter echo down the street.

Rain rendezvous with wind's whistling choir;
Joins in song as geese take southern flight
In silhouette of harvest sunset's fire.
Pumpkins mirror moon's enchanting light
'Till dawn displays pristine hoarfrost bright.

Premium Member When You Make Love To Me

When you make love to me with spoken word
Emblazoned body burns in ecstasy
Desire’s cadence by my heart is heard
And secret wants demand supremacy

When you make love to me with wanton gaze
A melody of moistness throbs within
Your gnawing glances do ignite the craze
Of body burning bright in sultry spin

When you make love to me with mute caress
Your hand usurps the moon and draws the flow
Of inner tides that rush in to posses
Your lips and mouth, a quenching to bestow

When you make love to me you set her free
Seductive Mistress of your fantasy

Premium Member Sky of Fireflies

Sunset.
Darkness quickly descends.
I feel like dancing on my large lawn.
     Astonished I admire
     the rise of fantastic fireflies.
     Such beauty usurps my breath.
Fireflies waltz in weightless wonder.
How can I not dance with them!
A sensual stance that throbs my heart
I wonder if they are nymphs or insects.
Who cares, once beauty fills the night.
Silent, silver dots fill the night with pleasant patterns.
     Ethereal elements envelop the air.
I sit down and enjoy the dreamy dance.
Until the sweet summer heat lull me down to dream.

Premium Member Take Back the Land

Where is the nation once united under God?
Broken is the moral compass that guides her.
The people sleep while the devil is at play
like a fattened calf, we are ripe for the slaughter.

The sky has darkened across the heartland of America
the clouds weep tears of anguish, the earth crumbles.
Where are holy words of prayer, now muted in fear?
The law of the land usurps the will of the people.

Shall we passively drink at the fountain of compromise?
Waters of right and wrong are muddied in ambiguity.
May we rise up on behalf of our families and freedoms
be a voice for the helpless cries of the unborn holocaust.

Let us not let our land turn into a massive landslide
or fall unwittingly into an abyss of hedonistic ruin.
For, united, we can break the strongholds of the evil one
and take back our land, for "In God We Trust".

Premium Member Parallel Emotions-Love and Hate

Parallel Emotions - Love and Hate"

between love and hate
a fine line separates
two emotions
para-interlocking devotions
easier to love someone
hate usurps more energy
power inflicts hurt
into this tapestry
cross lines to emote feelings
jagged edges like daggers
smoothed and soothed
by love
sweet love
conquers life
ultimately.

Love and Hate - The Hate bit

If you had not bequeath your love
One so pure as a virgin's touch,
Heavenly Angel from above
This life I desired so much.
I would not know now
How to hate alone in desolation,
Unlucky in love is my fate
Condemned to immolation,
Memories, alas, do not fade
The hostility festers strong
This septic wound from cutting blade
Belie's a love that proved so wrong.

The Wind, a Thief

The heavy breath we call the wind
That wakes the wood and strips the trees
Does not till spring its blow rescind
And thus return the leaves to these

The forest in primeval rest
Which waits in slumber for each leaf
Is by the springtime richly blessed
The wretched wind, no more a thief

And so the wood possessed of these
Restores each leaf with pride and zeal
Until the wind usurps the breeze
And comes a thief, the leaves to steal

GOODLUCK

Gutless muffled monarch wooed millions to the poll,
Our feeble lord enforced by pathetic speech of poverty (I once had no shoes)
On congruent grounds of pain we forced him, though we hated his coterie.
Disappointed, we wail waiting surrogate to lead to unending journey of relief
Lackluster, jejune as pervading rot lingers
Unvaried captain rocks our boat, gagged around by plunderers.
Circles of death, twinge, pauperdom and miseries mocks the reign of naivety.
Kleptocrat adorn self in regalia, loved the honor. lacks duty

EBELE

Embezzlers of collective trust bequeathed in hope,
Bandits as conniving ministers besmirched our obtuse scamp
Egregious, craven, shrieked at the sound of war (I am not a lion)
Laggard lumper loon left fanatical murderers at our doorsteps
Encumbrances from his delinquent clan divide the love for mother land

DAME

Damp squib's duchess of indecent tongue, never feels a vestige of restraint
Academic 'double misnomer' with licence to libel,
Merriment and intrigue feigned as obligations,
Edgy. encumbrance though ceaselessness forms their amity.

PATIENCE

Punk pretending and purloining to private vaults
Adventurous nerve for futile globe trot
Twitchy at the affairs of state, though Unemployed by sensible Poll
Intoxicated by serendipity, shaming all with activity
Euphemistic drama Usurps Scrappy literacy on cultured observers
Crude verbiages to amuse myriad of eggheads (my Fellow widows)
Encomium of Yesterday's approval turned sour and Tsar inept mode prevails

Jokers jostled in enthusiasm to rule, (politicking for 2015)
Onslaught from 'Boko-Haram' drove sleep from wearied countrymen
Numbed as "hoipolloi" echoed NO to mistimed removal,
Alas, the fraud, rapscallion looted the poor to a blindfold
Tyrannic cloaked his garb in power busted on the streets with the troop
Higgledy-piggledy bugled the travesty of Democracy
Amidst the rubble of a crumbling amalgam
Nigerian Lords watched the drama secured among a troop we die helpless

Beautiful - Contest

Beneath that layer of inner giving
Exists a fight for contented peace, so often sought.
Albeit mixed with the passion of living,
Uniting all to wonderful thought's.
This beautiful person
Invites a multitude of feelings.
Fears nothing in the name of passion,
Usurps your feelings, sending them reeling
Life is so beautiful, there is no comparison.

Mafia

(Mothers & Fathers Of Italian Americans),

Out of desperation one usurps their stead;
Picking up its broken pieces from the fragments of their head
I'm going to make you an offer you won't refuse
Shackled from philisophy's that scream choose

Still meet my old friend,
Fist full of lead with bloody hand
Give me some time to contemplate & understand
To survive in the streets getting shot hero's bleed

Timely tune leaving soon shadows sleet
Keep your friends close & enemies that much closer
Throw a rope around your head no bend over
No neck Jimmy with his friend Uncle Tony

With words in untimely exposed ravioli
Not to mention cooking the stramboli;
MAFIA
Shades of dark rivers bend

Nine at head now your dead
Big trunk to dunk that flunk
A special olive stirred with straight up Tom Collins
A wandering crowd with a special promise

Two tone Jimmy was the lady's thing got the sell that every lady needs
9 at head by dock at noon then sorrow had bled
Struggled to refrain from the slice on the blade
A clear taste of viable solution

MAFIA
Blank shells buzz to bells living hell
Crown of gold jewels explode truth untold
Now you will do as you are told until the very rights to you are sold

Through a barrage of steps new episodes...
Two kanuck's suited up best fresh out of Jersey;
Brevity
Shattered glass

Yet its all fair to say no one ever gets by on any free pass!

Sunrise

Sunrise
Night surrenders
Morning’s first light renews
Robin’s song usurps crickets’ choir
Cool wet dew of night still glistens; insolent
Lurid terror bows to sun’s glow
Coffee’s odor beckons
Slumber subsides

I'D Walk the Naked Miles

What twist of fate has befallen us?
When nighthawks no longer soar by day --
Ritualistic measures of time usurps moonlight

Where then shall I see upon my love’s face ~
A smile that would light the ancient Nile
Oh to feel the warmth of his sweet embrace

Dusk be not in such foul temperament..
Let pace of dawn be slow to arise
As it steals the warmth of our embrace

Oh twilight stars of night twinkle, now
As, the nighthawk, pleasures ebony soul
For that simple delight, I’d walk the naked miles…

Saddened is this heart when we must part
Let the setting of the sun come soon
Then we shall soar once more ‘neath lover’s moon

The watchman comes nigh, careful now
we must depart this gentleness – Remember,
For that simple pleasure, I’d walk the naked miles…

Dia-Gnosis

It’s ironic how those touting tolerance
So singularly lack the trait they tout—
Can a want of self-awareness account for it?
Appeals to reason roundly fail.
Indeed they seem inimical to logic:
They cry “Love!” and “Tolerance!”
While spewing hate and exclusion.
Can they not see their hypocrisy?
Have they no sense of the disconnect
Between their stated aims and real deeds?

The oracle said: Know thyself—
Self-awareness is the beginning of wisdom.
But the time indeed is out of joint—
They have become so self-absorbed
They no longer see each other
Except as virtual reflections,
Set pieces in a world reduced to
A kind of one-character play,
Where they are both star and cast…
And has this not a longtime been
How we define insanity?

Welcome to the Cyber Dark Ages!—
Where people sitting side by side oblivious
And heedless only communicate in tweets,
Where real human relationships have been coopted
By narcissistic digitized connections.
The divide between the actual and the virtual
Is blurred and then disintegrated, the sheer
Integrity of concepts like reality and fictiveness
Overwhelmed in a tsumami of silicon blandishments.
And this enslavement to technology is integrally
Part of the growing lack of compassion and charity
That more and more usurps our public discourse.
For the “elephant in the room” may yet turn out to be
That rough beast that slouched towards Bethlehem
To be born... here -- now-- among us.

Premium Member Plaidoirie For a 'Prince' of Jaffna - Part Two

Part Two

A Prince may not bring dishonour to his kingdom
   In times of strive for the sake of Christendom;
If he seeks spurious honours to feather his nest
And alienates a people who die for freedom.

A King is he who in high danger opts for sacrifice
Like Kattabomman seeking no excuse nor artifice
Met the East India Company’s Collector all alone
And fought his valiant way through gunfire malice.

The history of Tamil kingdoms in all ages gone by
Teaches us the same lesson made proverbial by
An Ettappan who in his insatiable envy of grandeur
Caused the ultimate Tamil Prince to hang high.

We live in a world where politicians are the real Princes
   Who wear no crowns but their ministerial pince-nez;
Yet other captains struggle against such fait accompli
And in jungles forge a human bulwark of chances.

It’s not the cherry on the icing that makes a cake
If underneath the slender icing over a lake
Wild worms bore at the crust raised in protection,
Won’t people then take a Kshastriya for a fake.

If you want to be king then let your voice be true
   Renounce all wish to be ordained a true blue;
Let the people choose what they want for a crown
If they need you, will they not call upon you.

Uneasy the head which wears the realm’s crown
   While the people fret and fume and frown;
See how caretaker John usurps the Lion-Heart’s throne:
Uneasier the head become the butt of a clown.

Lay aside all thought of fame
   In the quest for a feudal name;
He who assumes an ancient title
Must prove worthy of the same.

Coldness

Coldness

I

these winter nights undertake my body
usurps my reserved warmth with a strangle hold
scraping my nape with night fissures
of black bleeding

my body shrieks to the jerking marrow
and denudes the caverns through my nose
as my breath is a frozen gust along
the obsidian sky

fingertips paralyzed -curled to the clutch
of my palms that can't defrost
the serrated shards of the night solidify
as my body convulses and crystalize

the coldness' thickens
as the pace of the air pervades
until all of me
- sent like ashes
from glaciers burned
- begin to evaporate ..
..........

II

as i ascend
- there is a silence
a linear silence
that tauts the horizon

and there is abscence
-the abscence of the light
...........comfort about the infinite dark
with the pulsating breathing
of the shimmering stars
and the clarity of the large sky

i oscillate around your satellite
forever like a mortal coil
