Best Uranus Poems
Uranus is tilted on it's side, gonna check out mine
Not making this up, a strange space fact I did find
Weird things fill outer space
Some too scary to face
Need to get back on drugs, my mind ain't aligned
Oh Uranus, father of the gods.
The first of the ice giants.
Cold and cloudy.
You are tilted almost on your side.
Many narrow rings surround you,
Not as great as Saturns,
But impressive still.
Your moons named after characters of-
Shakespeare and Pope.
Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania and Oberon.

Uranus, arsenal and album
All three refer to our rear chasm
Sometimes smelly
Like a goat's underbelly
But often causing painful spasms
Smoke rises and blinds us of the view of the amazing
gas obscures the light and effects the waves of color
and surprises the watchers that are unknown
enjoying the spectacular yet shadowed person;
the wielder of spells
the holder of incantations
the possessor of magic!
Here he comes unannounced
to bewilder and dementia his audience
all here have become his followers
dazed by his wickedness
and praised for his play of unbelievable arts
but once his wand disappears
and the show finishes
so does his admiration close
with the red velvet curtains
Uranus, a wonder to explore,
A mystery to unravel and adore.
Seventh from the sun, a world of blue-green,
With secrets to unveil, like none you've seen.
Tilted axis, a unique sight,
At 98 degrees, it spins just right,
And negative 224 degrees Celsius,
Uranus is one of the coldest, no less.
Methane, hydrogen, and helium,
Uranus' atmosphere, a scientific realm,
Deeper within, a layer of ice,
A mantle of rock, so precise.
13 rings of dust and ice,
Water ice, their primary guise,
Faint and challenging to see,
Studying their composition, a scientific spree.
27 moons orbiting around,
Titania, the largest can be found,
Rock and water ice, its makeup,
Probing Uranus, a chance to shake up.
A cosmic puzzle, a scientific call,
Uranus, a planet that mystifies us all,
Why explore its chemistry, you ask?
To know our place in this cosmic task.
Uranus is tilted on it's side, gonna check out mine
Not making this up, a strange space fact I did find
Weird things fill outer space
Some too scary to face
Need to get back on drugs, my mind ain't aligned
she had a burning desire; an egocentric thrill.
a need to disrupt the constancy of her life,
to dramatically dissociate from conformity,
and become the sole dweller of her universe.
one that rebels it's place in the cosmos.
she was already remote from the others,
outrageously imposing and other-worldly,
she accentuated perfect idiosyncrasy.
for her icy mantle that created fog halos,
she carried a core imbued with a fever.
she fanned the flame to burn into an inferno,
until she shifted her life into full retrograde,
bridging together the divides of her nature,
she activated her freedom and individuality;
a woman of color in a monotonous crowd.
with life's impermanence cruelly threatening,
she manifested every energy in abundance,
channeled her soul's sacred wavelength,
hauled her dreams into subliminal orbit,
for she had one chance to envision her self.
voyaged into a black hole of introspection.
unaffected by forces that oscillate around her,
she dismantled every negative tendency,
and like a celestial body as eccentric as Uranus,
she awakened her own cosmic rhythm.
Can anyone say Uranus without grinning
Regaining composure, restart from the beginning
Don't know what's so funny
It's a planet, you dummies
True, it reminds us of one's bum and need for singing
Uranus is tilted, gonna check out mine
Not making this up, a strange fact I did find
Weird things in space
Too scary to face
Need to get back my drugs, my mind to realign
Uranus is tilted, gonna check out mine
Not making this up, a strange fact I did find
Weird things in space
Too scary to face
Need to get back on drugs, my mind to realign
Uranus
is a planet
with temperate
weather
the drawback
is strong wind
five moons
the romantically
inclined can find
exhausting
One couple of days, a young man named Lawrence,
Met an old hag of the neighboring village named Florence.
Lawrence was dumb and Florence, lame
His question- “Will you marry me,” in Florence, lit love’s flame.
She danced on her toes like a beautiful ballerina.
She looked so majestic like the Greek goddess Athena.
After marriage, for honeymoon, they flew to Uranus.
They both looked like two goblins in moon’s luminance.
Uranus is tilted, gonna check out mine
Not making this up, a strange fact I did find
Weird things in space
Too scary to face
Need to get back my drugs, my mind to realign
can you imagine living on Uranus?
this unusual planet has a unique pattern.
forty-two years of darkness
then forty-two years of sunshine
repeat
I try to imagine it
but cannot fathom how it would feel to live there
Or how weird it would sound to say
“I live on Uranus”
My name is not the punchline
to a joke about toilet paper
and Klingons,
(no matter how glorious
those warriors of Qu’noS)
My name is Uranus,
the namesake of Chaos
first ruler of the cosmos,
lover of sweet Gaia.
Nebula gas and dust created me,
happenstance some would say,
but my beauty has no rival~
Saturn and Neptune are poor brothers.
I am a puzzle fit for only gods to decipher,
mortal men will fear to approach me
in millennia to come, and I laugh
in the face of their desire to know me.
