Best Unspeakable Poems
Sleeping in your crib, you were curled onto your side,
A thumb inside your mouth, a blanket cuddled in your arm.
Only 18 months old, your baby blue eyes so beautiful,
How could anyone bruise you this way, your innocence lost,
Who was it who hurt you like this, if only you could talk.
You take a bottle from me and nuzzle into my grasp,
I want to protect you from any more harm and pain,
All I can do right now, is love and care for you with all I have,
And give your medications that will make you strong again.
So I kiss you good night and place you back in your crib,
May your night be filled with good fairies and sweet dreams.
Then Social Services will take you away when you are well,
I only hope and pray that you will be safe now forever more.

Just what is unspeakable love?
Is it love sent from heaven above?
With its prefix of “un,”
is this love then just one
I’m simply not able to speak OF?

Unspeakable Love (Limerick)
A DARKNESS HAS OVERSHADOWED ME WITH A SADNESS THAT IS
OVERWHELMING.
NUMBING MY SPIRIT, FREEZING MY SOUL AND LEAVING ME COLD.
LONELINESS DROPPED ON ME LIKE A HOT POTATO.
SHAKING ME INTO ISOLATION.
MY HEART IS SHATTERED AND MY MIND IS HALLUCINATING.
WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS THE WAY I FEEL THEY SEEM TO DISAPPEAR FROM
MY MOUTH.
AFTER THE SHOCK LEFT MY BODY THE TEARS BEGAN TO FLOW FROM MY
EYES.
I SCREAMED UNCONTROLLABLY UNTIL I WAS BREATHLESS.
MY MIND BEGAN TO RACE AND MY HEART BEGAN TO ACHE.
ASKING MYSELF HOW MUCH MORE CAN I TAKE.
I WAS LEFT IN DISBELIEF BY SOMEONE THAT I CARE FOR SOMEONE THAT I
LEANED ON.
NOW I AM ALL ALONE DIGGING FOR ANSWERS TO WHY THIS HAS HAPPENED.
WHY HAS THIS COME ABOUT THE RUG HAS BEEN PULLED FROM UNDER MY
FEET.
WHERE MY HEAD AND THE GROUND SOON MEET.
WHAT MORE IS THERE FOR ME TO SAY BUT THAT I MUST CARRY ON EACH
DAY.
WHILE DARKNESS LURKS IN MY PRESENCE.
unspeakable love
met me at the door everyday
scratching with his paws
he never missed aday
unspeakable love
is very very shy
love made in the heart
only thorugh the eye's
unspeakable love
comes after a lot of pain
forgetting the pain of labour
and giving a baby a name
unspeakable love
takes a sacrifice
putting self in harms way
giving up a life
Your smile firm raises walls on my peace.
Times we gave up return without cease,
Nights we chose to forget
Are gasping for a breath
Neath pilows wet from sweat, tears and a kiss.
Unspeakable love, the ultimate rush
A love that causes the roses to blush
In the spring even the birds
Can love without using words
Or maybe it's only a secret crush
when i think about us
being new
a wonderful feeling
me having you
my heart inside me
shining so bright
birds are singing thinking
it were not night
come in my love
i have need of you
i give you my heart
keep it happy and true
here is my love
for you everyday
all these little things
that ask you to stay
did you know that i loved you
from the first time we met
so sad so fragile
i'll never forget
you touched my heart
and melted my sadness
removed from my soul
untold madness
and i found that you are a woman
that must be loved
and i say, love is one thing
i have plenty of
Here I was then and there desiccated by deterioration
But now, here I stand ignited by determination
Fortitude, you have nourished and cradled,
And cured a disease of the heart,
That has forever been so fatal.
Fortitude, you come bearing uplifting gifts,
A spark of inspiration, a blaze of motivation
“I believe in you”, you whispered one night,
And with this I held you so tight.
To a tortured soul you became so dear!
Filling up holes of long past years.
I stand no longer alone,
I stand no longer in the terrible cold.
Tears I no longer shed,
And hope I no longer dread.
For you have taught the blind to see,
A little bird to finally flee,
A heart of stone to finally sense glee,
And Hushed! The mighty sea.
Alas! Alas! A heart is finally at Rest!
Alas! Alas! A mind has finally fullfilled its quest!

Jesus Brings Unspeakable Joy!
Jesus brings to all an unspeakable joy!
An abundant life in him, is for all to enjoy.
He brings a love when there’s emptiness.
The love that h e offers brings completeness!
Won’t you come and put your faith in him?
This can be the day for you to accept him1
He brings a peace and love worth finding!
All you ever need, he is now providing!
He’s what we all need or can ever hope for!
He’s the one worth living for!

It is tender and blue, unspeakable
Quiet land after tempests and storms
And my soul’s boundless field, it’s typical,
It is smelling with honey and rose.
I calmed down. Years gave me the reason,
I don’t blame things that happened and passed,
Like the furious horses in threesome
were rolled all over country so fast.
They have dusted with hooves all around and then
They have lost with the whistle of fiend,
In the timber asylum here and now I can
hear that leaf quietly flies in the wind.
Is it bell or far echo? And easily
All is stabbing again in my chest,
Hold it, soul, we have passed through the misery
Of this life where I was only guest.
We’ll find out everything that was seen in days,
What did happen in country, what’s wrong,
We’ll forgive all offenders for their ways,
Their fault, our fault, all is done.
I accept all that happened and that was not,
But I’m sorry for my thirtieth year –
Oh, my youth, I demanded not so a lot
in the tavern and it wasn’t fair.
But in fact, a young oak, that’s not ready share
With its acorns, bends like grass in field,
Oh, my riotous youth when I wasn’t care,
Golden madcap who cannot just yield.
P.S. This is my translation of poem by Sergey Yesenin
Such remorse,
Of course,
He thought
The words just came out flowing;
No sight
Beyond tonight,
He fought -
Without him even knowing.
Regret -
He was dead set
Against
Defending what they’re showing.
Revenge
A bitter end,
He taught
To mouth’s he thought were crowing.
And I sit here waiting,
Realising I am not to you what you are to me,
But still I sit in the false hope,
That you will make time, or at least remember-
When you touched me, how I felt-
The scent of my strawberry lips against your rough skin.
Utterly forbidden, but still we pressed
Your words and promises easily filled and were never kept,
And here I sit in my minds lie, that in a moment - our indecent times you will not forget.
Was it so easy for you to take me?
Or was I in a crises of 'love make-believe'?
You have scarred me with your silence-
But KNOW, I'm still here if you remember to taunt my heart with your unclear tease.
somewhere I was gently cruising as I dreamed
everything I saw was magically vivid it seemed
like the color applied to a painter’s brush
slowly gliding because I was in no rush
I remember it all and I was wearing a smile
but everyone else’s happiness was placed in a file
then came a sad schizophrenic summer storm
instead of drops dripping from a cloud, they were torn
and all the lights began to change their shade
as the roads leading home began to fade
I wondered like a ghost whose fate was sealed
like the floating fog dancing on top of a field
I saw mountain romances that slowly evolved
but their question of love or lust never was solved
people’s life were buzzing like a honey hive
and the queen’s command would never survive
the ungoverned ground began to chain all creatures
as freedom surrendered its only true feature
of a visionary’s life unbound by anyone’s words
the sky spiraled black as the stars turned to birds
the harbor’s channel filled with endless sand
as the candle lit prophet was trying to understand
just then the haystack hills leveled with the earth
and the golden peaks quickly lost there worth
but hope replaced the fear that we live by
and white holes opened up in the sinister sky
as wingless angels wanting to fly must now climb
and in the end, the acidic onlookers ran out of time
Tears tremble, threatening, on my lowered lashes
My heartbeat hesitates, then bounds with jubilant joy
His earnest embrace evokes such erotic emotions
Then so swiftly swept to unbelievable union
Now I drift, dreaming of unspeakable, lasting love
let's speak of the unspeakable
the horrid, heartless, maybe headless tale
let's speak of small children,
gaunt with indifference, both of and for
the sunken eyes, the distended belly
the insects hovering about...waiting
let's speak of hospital corridors
hushed conversations with green-scrubbed
doctors and nurses, the welling of tears
unready to find peace in the parting
let's speak of nighttime raids under
star-filled skies, the flash of tracers
and night goggles with green eyes
and anguished old mothers seeing
young men with sandals and Kalashnikovs
let us speak of morning mothers
calling children to breakfast
seen hanging around closet hooks from
taunting things they could not stand
and family forced questions of why
let's speak of dear souls we
would do anything for but are unable
as they refuse their meds and
talk to the un-seeable and listen
to what the voices tell them to do
let us speak of shiny nights on
florescent streets with young women
the richly dark men, lady killers, driven
telling them to climb on in
she's a lot like the daughter
let's speak of visits from
the local police or sheriff,
equally bereft, the color-guard
to softly express their deep regret
as we crumple on the porch step
let us speak of paneled rooms with
mahogany meeting tables and white-papers
recommending divestiture of expendables
who are actually people, with lives
let's speak of our own fears
that we hold each to heart
well closeted and cloistered
maybe even from ourselves
let's shine some light to banish shadow
let us speak of the unspeakable and
thereby remove its interdiction
take its power, and throw it in the air
to the wind, to be blown free,
free of fear, the anguish of unsaid...said.
