As We Look Toward The Sky

Zillions of specs in our vast universe, and
You, our amazing Earth, are among them!
Xanadu! For sure, we're blessed! We are here
With mysteries, deep and unknown in this
Vastness of cosmos that spreads endlessly,
Under which we exist, thrive and progress....

Premium Member Bouncing Toward Triumph
Bouncing up with gratitude
my heart leaps midst jubilant beat
rising to praise God* for His blessings
overtaking me this New Year.

Propelled by the Holy Ghost
my faith strides steadfastly
ascending along trust’s push
to triumph midst obstacles.

Advancing the Saviour’s kingdom
my spirit promotes righteousness
surmounting hatred with His forgiveness
gripped by love’s transforming...

New Sensations Harbor Ill Will Toward the Mind
New ambient light taking hold of that which was once darkened by time.
New thoughts eluding desires and all answers to the questions at hand.
Laminated emotions taking the places of the empty spaces inside the mind.
Feel the love from behind the reinforced glass? Didn’t think it...

Premium Member Shoot Toward the Stars
Let me tell you, what we're hoping for? ?
Man's new tomorrow.
And let me tell you, what we're shooting toward?
We're shooting toward, our final frontier.
Shoot toward the stars.
Shoot toward eternity.
Shoot toward the stars.
Shoot toward a new tomorrow.

Shoot toward the stars.
Shoot toward eternity.
Shoot toward the...

Premium Member Walk Toward Me
Walk toward me, my love.
Take my hand in your own.
Close your eyes for a moment.
Pretend we're alone

Raise my fingers to your lips.
Let them rest there and feel,
Your breath on their tips,
What your kisses reveal.

Just for a moment,
It's only we two
Lost in our passion,
Kindling love anew....

Premium Member On Driving Westward Toward Versailles
I

wet cat impaled on telegraph poles
serrated ashbrown fur
tinged with flinting silver
a mirror blue
cut by guitar strings on a shining plate
bathed in molten evening shine

jet streaks through pylon barrage
windshield wipers’ hemicircular swipe

dry cat’s crusty baguette fur
ashen edges of rapidfire cirrus

pylons stalk the sky
and catch the wipers...

Premium Member March Toward Eternity: a Poem of Collaboration With Ann Foster
All time comes to an end.
Eternity is a matter discussed quietly among the flawed,
in an earnest effort to find peace.
There is none, there never was, in the dead man’s march.
Only His grace can buy the price of even the most
… unworthy...

Surrounded In a Circle of Twelve Rods-Gravitation Toward Divine Energy-
in this illusion where everything
 is a competition
 just one of many continuations
 of our separation

while your dreams taste like tears
tearing through the rooted soil of your soul
protect the seed of your spirit

 trust in yourself and grow
 remaining in the...

Riding Toward the Light
(for Rod Nichols)

Oh, there’s a campfire up ahead
In the smoky darkness of night,
That holds the hopes and things we dread
As we go riding toward the light.

Those wagon wheels just keep spinning,
And all our life’s but one wild ride;
Our end is but the beginning
As we let...

Is My Life Headed Toward a Dead End Road
Is My Life Heading Toward A Dead End Road?

As I feel life’s struggles, and carry a heavy load.
I often wonder if my life is at a dead end road?

I think about what I’ve done and where I’ve been.
And never know who’s my adversary or friend.

Many...

Unconditional Paternal Love Toward Shana Punim
Screaming writhing violent
uncontrollable spasms of abandonment
immediately followed her (like Mary's lamb)
where e'er she went
verbal communication attempt didst rent
ear piercing outpouring

barrage heard clearly by vested gent,
a bajillion miles away e'en
stymying the likes of Lois Lane, Clark Kent
or special ABC letter writ agent,
when aforementioned younger daughter
raged day...

Before Puberty Toward Maturity
I was abused before puberty,
But I did my share of abusing.
And I was bruised before puberty,
But have spent some time bruising.
I was used as an adolescent,
Yet threw some out with the using.
I was infused as a adolescent,
But my words are said "too infusing".
I was confused...
