Toothless

TOOTHLESS in 1927
Toothles her tail began to switch,
Tuppy said “you’re too old, just stay a bit,”
Tuppy rode away to where,
A knocking stick a Roo would snare,
Roo hides pegged upon the ground,
Pounds shillings and pence, to be found,
From whence.
She galloped down the boundary fence ,
Clubbed a Roo right out of sense,
Got down then to skin this Roo,
Who sprang right up and bit her too,
He grabbed her close and then,
Jerked up a foot to disembowel, when,
Toothless cleared the fence,
Toothless took the Roo by the throat,
Strangulation the intent, I quote,
Death did then commence.
Kangaroo would seem very nice,
Docile friendly, but watch twice,
If his female is in season,
You could be clawed, bitten and slashed,
 And Skippy might.
Don’t let your dog in water with,
Old Skip will drown him till his stiff,
But Roo’s out there in millions are,
Springing bounding fences ha ha,
And following the grass Tom Tit…
Toothless was an old greyhound female used for catching Roos on the bound….Don Johnson

Toothless Dragons

And so the toothless dragons roar
tepid flames of apathy staining the air
regurgitated realities revisited
picked at in search of sustenance.

Circling, they do the hating dance
feet spurred to movement by heat
applied by flaming puppeteers
protecting the strength of their strings.

Moving - the flaccid jaws of acquiescence
beholden to the controller of the strings
paralyzed by the power of weakness
voice-less orators forever pontificating.

Dragons – seeking victory’s defeat
pure fire stolen and defiled
truth’s roar relinquished to their “keeper”
free flight denied to vision’s quest.

There is no power in the grip of power
no freedom in the clutch of lies
no wisdom in the sight of “blinders”
no teeth required of the pabulum fed.

Premium Member Toothless Ruth Revisited

Forgive me, just some silly nonsense...

You can have your Chatty Cathy
Or Annie with the big Fanny
But you can't have Tom Terrific
You don't get it? That's uncanny!

They gotta rhyme like Sarah Tiara
Or Tammy who loves Salami
There's the famous Roger Dodger
And little old Hammie Sammy

There's more, there's Skinny Minnie
Or sweet li'l ole Flirty Gerty
There's Amy who smells quite Gamey
And how about Gurgling Bertie

Have you heard of Picky Vicky
Or tasty sweet Hannah Banana
There's Mona Lisa Teresa
And cute little Andy Panda

Jerry at times can be Scary
How about little Betsy Wetsy
Buck who drives a great big Truck
And Bessie who's extremely Messy

So I've come to the end of my verses
Oops! Forgot about Bob the Snob
Bruce is saying my Goose is cooked
And I'm trying hard not to sob!

Toothless Angel, Mary Grace

Mystifying, magical melody
      your first laughter is to me;
As blissful and as joyful as bliss
      and joy can ever be;
Really you're much too young
      to even smile, my dear;
Your lilting giggles, such
      soothing music to my ear.

Gleefully you pinch my nose,
      grab my hair, you little rose;
Readily you enchant me with
      that toothless angel's smile;
And you bounce mirthfully
     up and down my tummy;
Clapping small hands, innocent
     eyes that let me see;
Eyes that mirror love for life,
for you from mom and me.

You can have your Toothless Ruth
Or Jeannette the sweet Coquette
But you can't have Crazy Harold
What part don't you get?

They gotta rhyme like Contrary Mary
Or Peter with the Metre long nose
There's famous Georgie Porgie
And of course there's Black Hose Rose

There's more, there's Moody Judy
Or nasty old Cranky Frank
There's Earl who's very Squirrel like
And how about Hank the Yank

Ever heard of Frail Gail
Or Valerie on the Gallery
What about Kate by the Garden Gate
There's Calorie counting Mallory

There's the sweetheart Shelley Belly
And silly old Jack the Quack
Scott who sails a great big Yacht
And Barack who's got the Knack

I could go on for quite a while
There's Bob who's known as Rob
But Gord is starting to get really Bored
So I'll end this tale with a sob!

The Slow Toothless Mole

In one labor of Star-nosed Moles
Traveled a slower toothless cow
The last in line, all that she sees
Is sore gums and molasses now!

Let the Toothless Dog Bark

Let the toothless dog bark
it wouldn't harm the shark
Because they continue to embezzle the fund
And crabbing public land
Dollar meant for developing the shanties
into reputable cities
Stole by rich becoming richer day by day
Poor languishing in poverty without pay
Urgent alarms for sobriety rings
See what lack of knowhow brings
If you know your Constitutional rights
It's about that time to fight
for what you deserve at the grassroot
Fairness be your prime pursuit

Honey, You Can't be a Shark if You're Toothless

You're a fool for starting the friction
But I'm a fool for starting the motion
F you, no I’m a fool for believing the notion
And giving my eyes to the intention

The northern lights fell on me
And open ice sheets make me weary
I can see every breath but I don’t feel alive
I can see every breath but I don’t feel so alive

I need a radio to play this line to me every day:
Never burn yourself
To keep others warm
Never burn yourself
To keep others warm

The truth is
I wouldn’t wish it on anyone
I wouldn’t wish this on anyone

When someone pulls a gun on you,
You pull a bigger one
And when someone tells you to give them a show,
You drop the match on the gasoline and have some fun

You’re never gonna guess what he said to me
You’re never gonna guess because in a murder case,
This would be the clue they all disregard
But turns out to be the missing piece
But everything is evidence when you’re over-analyzing
Take off your detective hat and enjoy my presence while it lasts

Broken bones and a heart-shaped cast
I wouldn’t wish this on anyone
Military grade, tested against god’s fists
But it wasn’t made to last
And I already know the grass is greener on the other side
Every blade is a shard of glass that cuts me everytime I try to forget
Well I don’t forget!
And i’ll remember that I wouldn’t wish this on anyone

But will I remember to never burn myself
To keep others warm?
Im tempted to test it but I know I’ll just forget it

When someone pulls a gun on you,
You pull a bigger one
And when someone says to blow them away,
You throw the match on the dynamite and have some fun

Oh, and there’s that shooting star I wished for
a year and a half before
That asteroid hurtling towards earth
Couldn't hit us any sooner
And who's the son of a that said the grass is always greener?
I know I should bring this all to my therapist
But I’m just gonna forget it

Toothless Dog

I am not an angel
I only locked my boneless leg in a jail
Simply, I don't want to make you wail
Cos I want to hail
ME someday

I'm not a toothless dog
Never ever a toothless dog
I can bite really hard
Cos my blood also get heated up

The hungry leg that lies there
That looks on like it doesn't care
Really don't want to make you wail
Simply because someday
I want to hail
ME

Got what it takes to take
Have what it takes
To make you ache
But the King in-between me hates
To illegally take

Toothless In Montclair

A tormented man who lives in Montclair
spends every day in a dentist’s chair
All the pulling and drilling—
Not to mention the billing!
He now brushes teeth that aren’t there.

Toothless Bandits

Play hard,
the toothless bandits are at it again.

they have no teeth,
yet bite the hardest.

serial larcenists,
squelching through town,

robbing the honey,
subverting the hives.

at gunpoint,
they silence us.

we play hard,
they play even harder.

in the tripod of power,
they're revered highly.

'distinguished' and 'honourable,'
titles that enable them.

they excavate,
the remains of our land,

stripping us of all,
leaving us bereft of hope.

this toothless bandits,
in this rocky shores,
have hearts dead to pity.

Premium Member Toothless and Blind

You killed one of mine.
I killed two of yours.

You retaliated by killing ten of my brethren.
I hit back killing one hundred of your people.

Enraged, you eliminated one thousand of my countrymen.
Outraged I obliterated a town of yours.
To get even you destroyed a city of mine!

I came back.....!

The same thing is repeated for thousands of years:
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!

And now here we are, my enemy,
Both with one eye, and both with few teeth left.

Don't you think that the time has come for us
To end this insanity before we end up, both,
Toothless and blind?
