This flower of beauty
By the wind cast down
To a stream it lands
In eventual drown

Its reflection on the water
Caught in ripples of life
Its as if the ripples are draining
To leave it in strife

On the surface it lingers
As if to hold on
Eventually the waters will consume
Its life withdrawn

For as it sinks
To its eventual lie
It leads to new life
So therefor it never dies

Friends

I remember when we were growing up and the first day I started school.
I was nervous as could be, and then you walked in trying to be so cool.

As the year progressed we became very close, and you took me
under your wing, and I think thats what I admired about you the most.

I remember by the time we reached middle school people thought we were
related, and as I think back about how shy I was and how I am now just
makes me elated.

By the time we reached high school we did just about everything together,
and vowed that even after graduation no matter what we would remain friends
forever.

College came and we both knew that we would regret this day, for I knew
you were the smarter one therefor I knew we would have to go our sererate
ways.

The years have past and time has been good to us. Both or us married, kids
our health, and our friendship still in tact is better than any amout of wealth.

People say time goes on and accept things for the way that they are,
but I'm here to tell you our friendship will never change, and I know
that in my heart because no matter what the distance we were friends
from the very start.

The Dark Side of You

The days grow longer as my heart gets colder but my mind grows stronger
I am no longer what I use to be
My mind is set free
Let come what may
For the memories of you I let fade
Caged for a while but now I can smile
Oh, don't look upon me you foolish child!
I'm above you now you can't level with me
I've seen your true colors, they are ones of black and green
The black stands for the emotions that you keep inside from all ones who have hurt you and the ones who told you lies
The green stands for your need of things which you do not deserve to have
But you wait upon these things until they fall into your hands
Your a wicked man taking things that don't belong to you
Like my heart you stole from me and later tore it in two
And who is you of which I speak?
The one strong of body but of spirit is weak
I seek you no longer because now I am stronger
But you are still cornered by the emotions you hide
One day their going to come out and eat you alive
And for this reason I sigh whenever I think of you
The feeling you hide cause you to be blind and therefor not seeing the hurt you caused me inside
But I will not cry over what you did to me
Happy you should be now that you are free but happiness you will not find
Until the day you let the dark side of you free sad and unhappy you will always be

Forever Lusting

As I take my right hand and gently lay it across my chest, I begin to take a long deep breath. With my eyes shut tight every heart beat genuinely whispering cries I belong to you. Visualizing moving heaven and earth I thirst to touch you. Your love I lust…I yearn for you to wipe my tears if I shall ever cry. Your arms to hold me tight, your promised remarks of everything will be alright. Implying you’re here till the end of time. I lust to see your smile up close, to feel your heart beat as you hold me close. Lusting to be your wife, as God made water into wine I will make sure your forever mines. I lust to see you cry on our wedding day to be consumed with desire for my love you craved. Therefor never feeling like you’re less of a man. You know it’s you I cherish, our love so devoted. I will never judge you, my love is so true. I shall forever love you. Yearning for everything from you, lusting I adore you. As I hunger for your touch, so envious waiting. Impatient for your intimate kisses, I’m desperately seeking your intense lusting sexual attention. Your love is my weakness...My body itches to be your apprentice. I relinquish my body to you as a lifetime licorice. Craving your licking loving the closeness, my body quenches. My lips quiver as your tongue leaves its signature. Long strokes below my waist line, I vocalize for your appetite. As I lust into your eyes my passion erupting. I get greedy and needy craving your energy. Anticipation is all over me. Butterflies in my belly burn with intimacy, orgy devoted to our overindulgence fling….Forever Lusting

Premium Member All Hail the Thought Police

My views are trenchant and modest.
My thoughts as clear as day.
I marvel at the things I know
While ignoring much what others say.
You must now follow my direction
And blindly accept all I have in store
Where your most cherished held beliefs
Will not bother you no more.

You will be free to act as I command
As I make bold your privilege and your past.
And with my loving care and maintenance
You may yet survive what's come to pass.
So stand and meekly beg for mercy
But ignorance proves your heinous acts...
Knowing any attempt to defend yourself
Is a clear prostration of the facts.

When I come to take your neighbor...
Be not concerned if one or two.
But rest assured... the time will come
When I gleefully come for you.
Please skulk in worry and trepidation
As who knows what the next day brings?
Since those who would deny me power
Are thankfully consumed by other things.

You will therefor crumble before my zeal
And it matters not that some will die.
As I lay a pox upon the great unwashed
Who dare not to think as I.
Be not tasked with want and worry
At the evil I have wrought.
Just know my world will be a better place
Once I control your thoughts.

Missing You

Missing you is like feelings of thee morning dew. The very first time I glanced at you, something like a widow a woman that husband has died. Wishing we had just a little more time. Wishful thinking believing everything you ever said was true shows how bad I want to be with you. Reminiscing over here dwelling on the past, indicating a desire of admiration I grasp. Adoration and appreciation is what I feel for you, longing suffering missing and enduring the lost just to speak to you. From morning till midnight, sunset to sunrise moving into the afternoon time I’m missing you. Arousing emotional response in motion missing you is my religion. My system of belief, therefor you’re an apostle sent by Christ making me a flock of one in your missionary. Leaving me with anxiety and tension I stay missing. Impatient for your fulfillment, missing you is an addiction and psychological dependence. Needing to see you even for a minute, in a recession I remain unchanged retain missing you.

I'Ll Never Forget the Black Death

I’ll never forget the Black Death.
It came from a germ which, lived on that fleas.
Each second passes through everyone’s breath.
The fleas! The fleas!
As the rats begin to die, the fleas begin to feed on humans
Everyone’s blood is, affected by the disease.
Oh please! Oh please!

I’ll never forget how the plague spread.
The Black Death is an infectious disease.
All around, it quickly fled.
These fleas carried bacteria and traveled in the rat’s fur.
When fleas drink the human’s and the rat’s blood they transfer the disease.
There weren’t any doctors or any cures.
The fleas were the cause of the disease.

I’ll never forget the symptoms that people had to suffer.
Nobody knew what the plague was, therefor they weren’t sure.
 People suffered from painful swellings.
Popping the wound caused bleedings.
A wound which first turned red then turned black.
It rises and rises like an air sack.
People had high fever and delirium.
Bleeding in the lungs of a victim.
The vomiting, and mental disorientation.
Muscular pains begin to num.
The intense desire to sleep.
Victims would die quickly.
Each second from one to another dominated by the flea.
The economy falls and the population is sore.
After contracting the disease we would live for a couple of days.
People will never live out of this maze.
It took years till the disease passed through Rome, Milano, and most of Europe.

I’ll never forget how Art, Music, and Culture changed.
People began to see the depression surrounding them.
The humans suffering, and their carnage.
The horrific pain inside them.

I’ll never forget the Black Death.
The plague was like the appearance of the small pox.
These diseases can rapidly spread like a flock of birds.
Everyone lived in terror.
Worried of becoming the Black Death’s victim.
The Black Death was like a curse.
The treatments were not helpful, it would only make it worse.
Stopping the cure in your body.
There were other remedies but they never worked.
The plague killed at least 50% of Europe’s population.
The Black Plague was a very serious condition.
Each day and every second, people prayed that the Black Death were over and
done.
The smell of clear air.
A rise of a new population.
It rises and rises like an air sack
I’ll never forget the sick and the dead.
I’ll never forget the Black Death.

And Let Us Now Silence That Intrusive Music So Ominous, So Banal, So Tinny and So Slight

As rains and the torrentialest of snows plummet,
Filling all the skies and the area interstitial to earth and sky
With a frenzy of flying flakes;
As gusty winds doth blow and toss the flakes this way and that;
As torrents true amid the most rending species of gale
Dash themselves bitterly and self-destructively
Against this crude roof,
It is of my hodiernal solitariness,
My aloneness and lonesomeness,
My singleness, and plural,
Romantic stationariness that I must needs
And peradventure speak:
Yet, firstly, permit us all to sit still and our selves
Stationary, silent and still; and silence that intruding music
So ominous yet banal, tinny and slight:
Lighthearted 'tis it, as well:
That which plainly portends our overwhelming destruction,
And that of all our cogitation, cognition, concentration
And composition, with its overmuch resonant yet tinniest
Intrusiveness.
So allow to be it thus and summarily silenced-
Now, that's better.
A man can listen to himself think again;
He can form cognitive thought and appreciation thereof.
Therefor, that music silenced and my concentrative powers
Revived: As a blade at the whetstone, resharpened:
I can keep on with the prosody and poesy of my plight,
But...

A Lovely Sonnet

If then the love for us is cursed,
I call upon to come and do,
To come and curse my love for you,
But still from me it shall be nursed.

If poor I'll lay on dirty street,
Or wet of tears i would be soaked,
I'd not regret why it evoked,
Was in the night on sacred sheet.

But you still feared my darling are,
As if you wouldn't blinded be,
As me, who hell looks through the star.

Therefor my darling I am free,
Of present days my own am Tzar,
While you to future bend your knee.

I Think Therefore

Rene Descartes said “Cogito ergo sum”
“I think therefor I am”.
Consciousness of being is true regardless our reality, be it
corporeal, digital or mechanical.
We may live in a computer simulation, or made out of steel, but “Cogito ergo sum”
What is real?
Does it even matter?
“I think therefor I am”.
We, therefore, create our own realities, regardless of our state of being!
Intelligence regardless!

Bible Belt

Long I have lived in the Bible Belt,
Where every flavor of faith is for sale,
Oh I've dipped my toe to test a few,
And I've found myself in many pews,
So this is how I'll begin this tale.

One Sunday morn so crisp and bright,
I thought I'd finally found the light,
At a new church non-denominational,
Where the word seemed so very pure and whole,
Yet the spirit changed once I stepped inside.

Just listen to what they preach,
This doesn't match what they teach,
I was told this was someplace else,
This isn't what the flyer sells,
So quietly I waited humble and meek.

And as soon as the service was over,
I went looking for the preacher or pastor,
I said "I'm lost and the address must be wrong too,
Cause I looked for a church but instead found a condo."
And I was asked, "What do you mean Brother?"

Outside this sanctuary are the common grounds,
Where love, forgiveness, and acceptance abounds,
But in this great and most hallowed of halls,
Is where these magnanimous ideas fall,
And where the true private owners can be found.

Then I was told that I had it all wrong,
That I came when the message was too strong,
You see they hold three sermons a day,
Therefor they could meet the needs of every sway,
And I agreed I was confused all along,

This isn't a condo its a time-share,
The first sermon has fair weather fare,
The second is your everyday church,
And the third squeezes you until it hurts,
Oh what a come on, what a snare.

Now, I find that most churches are not this bad,
But keep your eyes open for those that have gone mad,
And pray for those who can not find the spirit within,
Who can so easily fall prey to those with like missions,
For time-share and condo churches are truly sad.

Premium Member My Pet Mouse Louie, a Connoisseur of Cheese

My pet mouse Louie is a connoisseur of exotic cheese,
But when it comes to gratifying him, he's mighty hard to please!
I have my own choice of cheese, therefor, 'tis an ongoing clash,
Between me and Louie at which he has become somewhat brash!

If I set a snack of limburger before him, he'll turn up his nose,
And I learned mighty quick to no longer on him that crud impose!
I happen to like a simple cheddar but Louie will clearly voice,
His desire for an expensive gouda if he had to make the choice!

We both abhor cottage cheese on that we can readily agree,
But he savors bizarre cheeses such as Greek feta and French brie!
The latter two I can barely tolerate and well-nigh cause me to retch!
I hate to divulge this but Louie is becoming a bothersome kvetch!

Lately he insists on me catering ricotta, swiss and mozzarella.
(Ain't gonna happen, you can bet your life on that, little fella!)
Alas, my dilemma was solved by my cat who relishes tasty mice;
Louie was devoured by ravenous Jeff the cat which wasn't very nice!

I Am An Immigrant

I have a harsh past but a bright future
I have seen death upon my eyes
and felt the need of nurture

I have been surrounded by lies
that have covered nothing but the truth
I was blind and foolish
throughout my ages of youth

I am an immigrant
With a dream to be successful
But how can I accomplish this
without it being stressful

I don’t need pity nor to be disrespected
Nor do I need the feeling of being neglected
I have came a long way for a better future
So expect me to go further

I am an Immigrant
In fear of being deported
In fear of not having a future because of my status
In fear of not being supported
In fear of my future becoming a stratus

What happened to “Freedom for All”
Did we really just let that fall?
This nation has a dark past
Now, how much longer will it last?
Looking for violence is not the answer
Therefor, we can’t let it spread like cancer

We must rise together and let our voices alter
We must stand together so we don’t falter
We must set an example so the mistakes that impact us today
don’t impact our young loved ones tomorrow

I am an immigrant with a dream
A dream for peace
A dream for a future
And a dream for a better life.
