The Testaments

Behold, the essence of aubergine and a trail of sparkles yields the moment to radiant reds, like a breasted robin of autumns abandon legions in crumpled layers, impaled to moisten saffron petals and chartreuse fronds,

Strewn against a capricious path that points to a dusty field in white, ebbing the tides of a wintry breath, facing an arched hall of a supreme grandiose silken veiled sky,

It distributes elegance and beauty and cast it hither for its righteous placing, neath the surge of an ocher spread of sunflowers, that escort its mentored Sun,

Offering to surf a periwinkle wave, with broad sets of sprawls entertaining a receptive ivory sea of crested puffiness, wooing anointing doves to joyously immerse creation toward its pure dawning rise of scriptures souls.

River Testaments

Fertile silt spilt over its bank
Providing voluptuous life
Northward compass unusual
to intersect with Orion
Illuminated stars for wise men three
Moses basket ride, Israelite pride
Life along miles of virile poignant Nile

Omnipotent sent a proffer
Humble son gift euphonious
Trinity, accept the offer
Blest banks of Jordan, satiate
Acceptance grant by the author
Pontius Pilate governing Saviors fate
Instinct attitude, caveat debate
Imbibe in the soul space, venerate place~

Premium Member Too Many Gods

Too many think that they are God
Too many think that they know God
Too many think that they see God
Too many talk like they know God
Too many sins
Too many Satans
Too many prosecutors
Too many executors
Too many judges
Too many smudges
Too many think that they are right
Too many, for the wrong reasons, fight
Like there is no tomorrow
What a shame! What a sorrow!

Too many think that they know more than they know
Thank God, they can barely see the peacock and the crow
In front of their nose. The dagger behind the head is not
Under the radar. The moon sees everything. The sun is hot
For countless unexplained reasons
Both have an innocuous impact on the seasons
Too many false geniuses
To many mad scientists
Too many strange analysts
With worthless doctoral degrees
Human being is a thinking piece of meat
With unusual behaviors that meet
No coherent criterion, and at times violate
Rules, laws, theorems and the advices of the prelate.

Too many think that they are God
And few are willing to obey the commandments
Too many think that they know God
And few honestly believe in the testaments
Too many think that they know God
And they die and disappear like the smoker's puff
Too many behave like they know God
Think about the whole thing: honestly, this is playing bluff.

***I read some reviews, it's an intriguing read into the insights of womankind bearing upon a prophetic assemblage of the impending future -- I preface a muse entitled 'The Testaments' as a colorful introductory honoring her book sort-of-speak for newcomers -- unless they read 'Handmaid's....'

Testaments

Just below its surface
the body is furiously writing,
we would translate
but the language is obscure.

Upon a night
when clouds blanket eyes
the great works of the flesh
emerge.

Legend and myths appear
in plain text.
The body, as if dead
gives up its inner voice,
blind eyes read a tactile Brail
words imprinted
on the clay tablet of being.

When daylight peeps
we emerge from these myths
embodied
as the ghosts
of our self-authored
testaments.
