Best Tamer Poems

The Lion, Tamer

I have fought you in tears for years,
useless in our abuse, an excuse for entertainment
at the merriment of no one save we two
and we knew the outcome, always the same
the shame in the unfought defeat, fresh meat
for the masses to feed on and laugh at on our behalf.
And at morning’s light, the same fight of we two,
me and you going round and round in a cage,
our own stage of self-destruction, and an eruption
of no one clapping in amusement, a bemusement
and a confusing silence as I realize that the whip
that’s hurting me is the very same one held by me.

Help Wanted Lion Tamer

Be it cage or court
A tamer is needed soon
Mom out of money

The crooked lawyer
More fierce than a Lions whip
Fearless Judge needed

To rid politics
Must decide in child's behalf
Who gets the short stick?

Premium Member After Teaching Romanticism I Want To Join the Circus

we pass through the gates
we pass the kindergarten with it's colourful play area
we pass the primary school with the din of laughter
we pass the middle school with the hubbub of whirlwind psychosis

we are hit with the high school building
we are hit with wild landscapes
we are hit with fickle wassails
we are hit with hoodoo troopers

i teach Wordsworth
there's always something missing
we come from a world that is more heavenly
our childhood happened to someone else

i''m going to give up poetry and teaching
and go into clowning

The Tamer of My Heart

The tamer of my heart.

For too long I am wanderer,
A normad searching for love,
Vagabond worker of piquancy;
I meet birds, none looks dove,
I see flowers,none is like rose .

River bird ignore me not,
Tell me where my love is;
The angel with camwood on her feet,
Who has two beads on her twisting waist,
Whose hairs are youngest palm fonds.

The arrivistes say they cat-walk
But my love is a gorgeous chameleon;
Stepping out like recovering for tiredness,
Tire? No,she's only being ebullient, debonair;
Her steps only dexterity of her beauty.

Tell me river bird, lest I die:
Her camwood , my beam of light,
The cymbals on her waist sing me lullabby,
Her hairs are the capillaries of my heart;
Ignore me not, my heart aches.

Alas, whispers of light, could she be the one ?
Is this light shadow of her glorious camwood ?
Foliage is dancing, could her cymbals be singing?
My heart turns,oh heals,it pumps,life rejuvenates,
A glimpse, glaring, she is, she is the tamer of my heart.

Stranger,,,, Jutyar Tamer Sadeeq

Stranger

writen By : jutyar tamer sadeeq

The unemployed mornings of light give me Insomnia nights

I was alone with the dream in Inattention of me

Teaching him how to bothering me

The sails may not understand what she wants from Labyrinth.......

A step seperates heart from the entrance of wound

I see myself clap to strangers

I see my face in dispute with mirrors

I was sure that the sound

Is a white ink..... forgot my hand on the door handle

And remembered the world is a shed regretting

Stranger .... except death in my distances

Fragrant calls me to whites of departure

You Are the Tamer

You are the tamer.

Verse: You pet me all times
           You give me every care
           You watch me everyday
           You treat me happily
           You are the tamer...

Ch : You are the tamer of my heart

Tamer

She closed the gap
before i could even react
she is light and soluble
peeked my soul
without causing trouble

her eyes are so kind
even the beasts melt
she gave me this feeling
i have never felt

Premium Member The Lion Tamer

Given an impossible task to vigorously chase

Based on something nobody else wanted to face

With no support expectations were delivered coldly

Blindly thrown into the thick of things to navigate boldly

I’m the one who manhandled the lion down a back staircase

Daniel Henderson My Newest Lion-Tamer

I
Today, three years too late - almost - I read a short, insightful article by Daniel Henderson ("Holy Spirit ... Come? Or Control?" 2019(c) Daniel Henderson). I am so thrilled. I have good help in explaining New Testament theology.

II
Thank you Daniel come again
Yes. For me: Daniel has come again
To tame the lions of charismatic over-reach
Such because weak or new believers
Feel less, unless -
They join a bandwagon: "More, Spirit, more!"
Bandwagon Balderdash?
I said it, as a Poet, I wrote it
Last month already: "Jesus's best deposit" -
Holy spirit comes to indwell all as an escrow
Guarantee that Jesus claims us,
He will only leave if we leave LORD JESUS
No need to run all over, looking for more of the Most
Gentle, the Most
Holy Spirit
Of God
Also known as, GODS SPIRIT OF HOLINESS

III (Daniel HENDERSON explained):
" ...like other common elements of Christian vernacular, it [asking Spirit to come] is nit in the Bible. Nir is it a prayer consistent with the new covenant secured for us by the precious blood of Christ."

Premium Member The Lion Tamer Who Went Too Far

There once was a lion Tamer named Mead
He taught his lions to cook and to read.
Taught them to bake
Broil their steak
And grow vegetable garden from seed

One took him to court on a Tuesday
Because he forgot to teach him to pray
So he sold them
To old guy named Jim
Now raising ignorant donkeys that bray

Premium Member Silken Dragon Tamer

She is the silken dragon tamer, and she comes with an agenda.
We stay out of her way; her name is Miss Magical Lucinda.
Has wands made of feathers of the phoenix, and other magical birds.
Creatures we have not been exposed to said Madame LA ‘Curd.

The silken dragon tamer! Are you being serious now?
I have heard of this creature; she is a marvelous wow!
I would love to meet her and watch her technique.
She is the dragon tamer I feel I must totally seek.

The silken dragon tamer! Are you sure you are correct?
I see a tamer around the corner, but she has a crooked neck.
The silken dragon tamer is supposed to be delicate and pure.
This creepy dragon tamer has a mean face and smells like manure.

Premium Member Lyin' Tamer

She was called the Lyin’ Tamer.
Absurdity would enflame her.
	She could spot a line
	way back from foot nine.
She’d decline and who could blame her?

Premium Member Dame Tamer

Someone had called him the Dame Tamer.
Rugged good looks made him no shamer.
Alone, he wore a pink rose
and a gold ring through his nose.
His close friends knew him as a flamer.

The Tongue Tamer

A young lady named Betty Young
Had trouble controlling her tongue
Whenever she spoke
Attempting a joke
She used nasty zingers that stung

A helpful friend gave her advice
“Before you say something, think twice
Reject what is acid
And choose what is placid
And stick to a tone that is nice.”

Premium Member Sent For By Wise Woman

Wise woman sent for her the usual way. Dream summons.
Marna headed to the mystical cliffs at first inkling of dawn.
Lucan followed of course, being her main wolf-worshipper.
They walked in a hypnotical, rhythmic way, relishing their silence.
A nocuous smell met them at the grasslands.
Lucan sniffed curiously but lingered not when he saw his
Mistress ignore the dead thing that had recently been exhumed.

Marna and Lucan, her wolf, were chosen soulmates at birth- formidable
But together, today, as seasoned as they were, Lucan felt invincible too.
Marna stopped suddenly, and lifted her index paw. Lucan ran his ears up.
Something was watching; they both felt it. The only movement was the grass.

Armed with a nice new stabber, Marna stood immobile, listening.
She and Lucan both reveled in the cold sanctity of the grasslands.
Lucan’s ears were up, full throttle, and he was surveying to the west,
So Marna surveyed to the east. Nothing yet. She sensed it behind the waterfalls.

Whatever it was had the potential to morph into something worse.
Should she shape-shift? She listened hard, feeling spirit strongly with her.
Not yet, her ancestors told her, get there first. Transmogrification takes
A lot of energy. She felt strongly she needed to retain all the strength she could.

She nodded to Lucan and they went together as one to face their destiny.
