Poet Destroyer A

Poetess she is, whose magic is cast with great ease
Opulent in words, charming to the utmost degrees,
Engraving hisses, silhouettes, images of natures surreal
Trespassing horizons never stretched out to an ideal

Destroyer as known for, although she's here to compose
Enchating poems and songs her beautiful soul bestows
Such a fusion encourages poets to hold their inks and quills
To write 'bout nymphs in seas or orchards filled with daffodils
Rampantly defeated by her as what often happens, except
Of all practiced skilled writers she's definitely the most adept
Yielded in a words-battle having a single acknowledged end
Efficacious "She" is by far a star who can simply transcend,
Reproductions of literary stylistic forms in her magnificent way

A lady I know as Linda with a pseudonym Poet Destroyer A!

Flower In the Weeds

In a garden which is hopeless
Because of weeds
Pink cosmos is blooming
Like hope
Like the stars of cosmic dust
They describe my love

I'm afraid that you won't admit
I'm afraid that you won't feel
I'm afraid that my flower blooms
In vain

It's so hard just to look at you
Because I can't look away
It's unfair that in front of your eyes
My flower fades

It was fate that I met you here
It was fate that I broke my rules
I thought you were a simple boy
That just looked good

But I was wrong

Your soul is pure as lake
Your soul is innocent like a child's
Take me in your hands
 I'll never let you down

P.S. I tried to write using an inversion, a new stylistic device for me.
If you admit any mistakes, let me know, please.
Thanks for reading.
Lots of love.

Award Winning Poem

Award winning poem crafted with precision,
From the finest word smith's concoction,
To capture the readers eye,
And move them to agree with I,

Every golden letter mellow to the core,
Molded to tell a tale untold before,
Veni vidi vici; so say I,
A pen and paper in hand till I die,

Swiftness in wordplay like a sparrow,
Able to set the mood right from happiness to sorrow,
Blowing the theme as wide as the clear blue sky,
Not forgetting stylistic devices to make the poem fly,

A poem that will stand out for all ages,
As the king of modern day poetry outshining all written pages,
Bringing out soliloquy in a persona,
So sweet you wish not to end it sooner,

Professionals Name

New Release,
Thin line,
Time descease,
Bright shine.
Ahead of the game,
Shown by evidence,
Professionals name,
Body filled; tense.
I'm clear of doubt,
Finally here,
All about,
The rippled sheer.
Unraveling down West,
Opening up; tall,
Best of the best,
If I can't walk, I'll crawl.
There's intense steam,
Blowing smoke,
Common ground; team,
Haters will hit;but choke.
Phrases by action,
My hand flow,
Stylistic traction,
High to low.
Artistic up front,
Surveying for you,
Messages to hunt,
Head of the crew.
Unwind to heal,
Natural mind at work,
Beauty to kneel,
Intentions to merk.
Parallel order,
Tinkering my brain,
Letter hoarder,
On paper to strain.
I shall generate,
The emphasis expectations,
Stirring up bate,
Hear my unique creations.

What Was I Thinking

Wringing my hands, I struggle with format.
Flinging meter under the bus is a crime
Bringing Soupers a cringe. THEY know the game,
Ringing line after line in stylistic rhyme!

Jump into Lento? What was I thinking!
Dump the thesaurus I’m out of my league!
Slump into my chair, and give props to the Sponsor.
Lump up my defeat to battle fatigue.

Id's Odyssey

What is self magnified, but life
   longing an impossible dream,
a tickling of inner cravings
as the voice of imaged splendor,
wherewithal's purpose
flourished in veritable endeavors
    of stylistic appropriations,
 realistically mediating 'tween desire's
 yearning amidst clouded vapors
   dispersing recognition beyond
     declarations of id's odyssey,
an ideal in ego's transformation
  that which awakens
   substantial sustenance
        nourishing a spirited nature,
a psychic boon, abstruse or surreal
       motivating individuality's
            creative impulses
           differentiating experience's of
  uncoordinated instinctual trends
amid uniqueness of the ultimate animus,
          'roused beyond mind-blowing intrinsic forces

Premium Member Submerged

the old sea-pool churns out fun
frantic heads flick side to side, limbs flashing, thrashing
  some are slicing, cutting through
  elegant submariners chased by water-wake
  here is one of distinction!
  stylistic splasher, appendages pummelling
  plunge under, submerged from sight
absent for longer than you are prepared to look
  where is he? where's goggle-eyes?
he's there on the diving board, arm and body poised
launches out, " Dymo " diving
flat trajectory, depth-charge slap, bow-wave rippling

  then disappears down the years
is that really him? no goggles, the next-door house
  distinctly in there somewhere
reclusive, settled deep in the parental home
comes up for air, now and then
bicycle scuttles by, too fast, no time for talk
  submerged by night-time shadows
the rare morning breaks, he is there! so have a word
  chat about those poolside days
glimmer in his eyes, about to say, turns away
  hasty retreat back through time
  " Dymo's " really gone now, submerged, bow-wave rippling

days merge, weeks, months and decades
we misplace our keys to unlock the present now
  cascading hullabaloo
our minds fill up with noise, too much whoosh, too much din
  frustration bangs the door
  we exasperate, repeat our repetitions
  submerged below the moment
grasp at recognition, at memory sticking
  immersion, pressure building
hold our breath, hold our years inside the pool of joy
rush up again, what's the fuss?
hanging on, kick the feet, relaunch, bow-wave rippling

The Artist

She worked in water colors,
brilliantly mixed and textured.
Bold brush strokes, daubs of
lumpy sunshine, finger tip
illusions. Her palette ablaze
in the passion of youth,
the scintillating shock of
stylistic expressions. The
sheer white. challenge of
her glistening medium.
The always waiting paints,
the gentle hum of the
old motor encouraging
the artist, the joy of
colored fingers and a
refrigerator door.
She worked in water colors.
She was three.

Flowing Downstream Without Levees Or Windbreaks

some poems ask to be naked
they have no use at all
for punctuation
not even for an en dash
an em dash nor hyphen

they play with a flowing grammar
that must be read like water
or paddled through on a leaky canoe

the poet can then hide behind
these unchained words
while demanding to be truly heard

while of course
all the suggested literary pauses and in-breaths
can be just a matter of spacing

it is quite a scrabble game
one played with disjointed symbols
on blank tiles
a stylistic approach that can
if done right
be thought of as avant garde
or pointlessly regressive

but

we all like a nude
a form without garb and baggage
and perhaps some of us wish
wish we could walk on water sometimes
