Gamut of History Spans Everyday Life

Analogous, how said month name
     September under went
ramifications throughout millennium
     steeped in blood thirsty antiquity,
     awash with torment,
where most twenty
     first century mortals
     oblivious to such lawlessness

     wretched ultra-violent revilement
existentially going about their
     daily and weekly business
attuned to requisite
     employment as punishment
particularly if role of stoop laborer
     earnings them niggardly pay
     for meager nourishment,

there would be negligible
     leisure time leant
to mull, ponder or scrutinize
     such esoteric rubric
     as preponderance of
     ancient civilizations set precedence
     contributing to present
     without passing judgement

if in fact possessing
     aggressive curiosity hellbent
     interest and/or acutely fervent
     trenchant awareness linkedin
     with what human engineered,
     sans preceding millennial development
     events came about
     to bring the here

     and now space/
     time continuum habiliment,
where a sniveling, groveling, and
     conniving foo fighting beastie boy,
     would be loathe to believe,
nor not in the least
     interested - gives a rats a$$
what farcical betterment prevails during

     this current year
two thousand eighteen, versus where
drama evidenced by
     nothing "FAKE," nor unclear
substantial archeological recorded
     treasure trove evinced severe
of prior momentous human quaere
orgiastic epics Bacchanalian

     (distilled from ancient Egypt,
     classical Greece, enlightened Rome
     peoples played primitive organs
(viz, sax and violins) out across
     the then world wide web
     wrought permanent pressed

     customs within part
     ridge didst app pear,
in a tree, reverberated
     millenniums later, and also asper
     among named twelve months,
particularly when Ides of March near
plus seven days of week.

Spans of Mind

Sir Philosopher, span your mind

sharing many dreams you own

Sir Dreamer, reveal your dreams

sharing much wisdom you span

Spans

Spans (Inspired by Percy Shelley's "Ozymandias")

If one pursues the desert, smooth and vast,
They will not glimpse the history buried there.
The monuments constructed did not last,
Save by poet’s pen upon paper.

A fixèd mast protruding from the spans;
The endless stream of time will wear all down,
Like flowing sand within an hourglass,
For colors mix inexorably to brown.
So irony has come with human life,
The closed events that circle round and round,
As goes delight to sadness, joy to strife

And all of history lost to passing’s glare,
Emotion, insight, love, belief, despair,
Forever locked in rock’s unyielding care.

Premium Member A mute vow, ancient as time itself, that spans between us

A mute vow, ancient as time itself, that spans between us,
Is a smile knotted in a veil of unheard kisses,
A respite in the symphony of love, where we, masters of the secret notes,
Bring to life a melody written by fates, on a silent score,
A quartet interlaced with threads of soul under the dome forever named Love.
An unspoken pledge,
Woven through gestures that break the wall between worlds,
Their undulating is a sacrificial dance of encounter -
An offering where passion becomes both prey and predator,
Painting us primeval, untamed in a jungle of sensations,
But from the twilight of the unhuman, we are reborn,
Humbled and caressed by the gentle wings of humanity.
Embracing you, we become an incantation,
Altar and prayer upon which your name is uttered like a sorcerer,
And I, a priestess in our sacred temple, walking on the altar of your lips.
Thus, love transforms into a stream of air,
The essence that cannot be captive, nor confined by walls,
And words are lost in their sonorous transfiguration,
Becoming the noise of water hitting the stones of time.
Restless, our shadows seek each other through the mist of belated mornings,
You explore all the hidden corners of my being,
And I, sailing on the untrodden paths of your spirit,
From here the force of love envelops us, lifts us
Like a white cloak of flame,
Immaculate as the celebration of our endless love,
Impetuous, like the waves of passion that define us –
The power of Mystic Love.

It Spans The Sky

Illuminating a radainces
                                           An air of nobility
                                          it's elegance amid
                                                  grace
                                         a radiant aura of
                                                 beauty
                                             and Grandeur
                                          as onlookers gaze
                                               in reverence
                                           it creates it's own
                                               sequence
                                        strong and powerful
                                    a majestic presence in it's
                                                 beauty
                                       a dance across the sky

Where Drones View the ground

A Romance That Spans The Stars

She is his Venus
while he is her Mars
Her eyes are
like the glow of the moon
and his eyes are
like the glow of the stars
She is his milky way
and he is her satellite
the chemistry they share together
are like the moon eclipsing the sun
no asteroids, no comets neither black holes
can ever separate or demolish their romance
that spans all the way across the stars
