Life Spans

forsythia fades
redwood stands a thousand years
     Mayfly lives her day.

Well done Allen. Everything has it's day. A tree lasts thousands of years and a bug has to be born, go through puberty and become a grandma in 24 hrs. People live several decades and for a dog 10 yrs is a life time. Excellent God Bless, JB
