Never Giving Up (Revised)

(Verse 1)
There’s an aching in my back
An my knees are buckling in
My body’s hurt n bruised
friends r’ say ‘n take a step back ‘n relax

(Bridge)
got so much on my mind
faster and faster I here myself say
I cant give up when I’m half way through
pure determination drives me hard and true

(Hook)
Never giving up
I can see it now the sun is shine ‘n on me
Never giving up
I’m almost there the inspiration I need

(Verse 2
The devil can try to slow me down
Putting all those boundaries road blocks round
But without a flinch in my face
I’ll jump up move and around

(Bridge)
My destiny is calling to me
Got lots to accomplish no time to tire
There’s a sunrise coming up in my face
My dreams are right there I’m following through

(Hook x 2)
Never giving up
been a long time but the sun is shine ‘n on me
Never giving up
I never looked back now I see inspiration in front of me

Prophecy

The times of which the prophets wrote is taking shape at last. It won't be long till
that fateful day we hear the trumpets blast.
The bright blue heavens will disappear, as the stars drop out of sight, the
stillness in our hearts as each day turns to night.

The times of which the prophets wrote we won't have long to wait.
As this was written long ago our destiny our fate.
We've walked not a straight and narrow path now it's time to pay our dues.
It seems the fate of all mankind is in the hands of fools.

This Prophecy is not hard to see it's the coming of the end.
On that day we're all forgiven and free to start again.
The nightmare that we all will share we don't have long to wait.
Yes it was written long ago, our Destiny, our Fate

When Darkness Starts To Dim

Sing to the Lord, for He has done glorious things
Sing praise, when He awakens our heartstrings.

When the darkness starts to dim within the dark
we wait for the light, the tiniest spark.

We teach traditions – obvious commonsense,
but true belief comes from experience.

Researching God’s Word reaps redemption’s result,
makes talking with Him not so difficult.

God never slumbers, He is ever awake
He’s list’ning always, at night, at daybreak…

Sing to the Lord, for He has done glorious things
Sing praise, when He awakens our heartstrings.

Jesus’ birth, life and death is not just stardust;
He arose to life, bringing hope and trust.

I notice Light in my world shining through Him
Satan’s spell of darkness starting to dim.

Yes, what will be, will be, praise God, Almighty,
He redeemed me, with His will I agree.

He’s with me, I do not fear what man can do.
No longer afraid, my God will see me through.

Sing to the Lord, for He has done glorious things
Sing praise, when He awakens our heartstrings.

Passing

To see her blog, adorned with pastel tones
Widens the gap that pervades my bones
For now we eat her passing meal of plain white rice
Leaving us all alone, without much needed fashion advice

The red light district has lost an inductee
For I would have love to be involved in her naked party
Yet for now we must all be content
With the debauched path she hath went.

Sadness invades a binary world
Where tweeters and bloggers hearts have curled
Bringing back memories of Madonna’s ‘Like A Virgin’
Her fashion advice precise like a mastoplexic surgeon

I remember the fervour when you were followed by Kath Kidston
A similar experience when I had my first Jar of Branston
Yet when you found out the intensity with which I was following you
You wanted to change species and become a Gnu

You learnt to accept my frequent outpourings of love
When you finally spoke to me, I felt as free as a pure white dove
But upon your departure I feel pathetic and hollowed
The best I can hope for is the number of one of the hot bloggers you followed

She was always my muse, my intimate inspiration
No-one can cause such an outpouring of personal perspiration
My heart now yearns to see her type a special tweet
One that would make Mr Sexton act like a dog on heat

Now the world mourns the passing of Lily Fulvio-Mason
I can still see her face reflected in my wash basin
With every heart beat, every full blooded pulse
My sadness streaked blood makes my body convulse

But now it’s time to go, my heart says goodbye
The pain eats my nipples like the Syrphid Fly
I can finally see your body laid in an eternal rest
And now I can now finally uncover your breast.

A Different Verse

A different time, a different place
A different life and different face

Different wants and different needs
Different values and different creeds

Different Pomp and Circumstance
Different songs and different dance

Different likes and different hate
Different foods on different plate

A different boat on a different sea
A different you and a different me

Hard Headed Women

< she's a hard headed woman
                                          lovin a soft hearted man

                                          when they get together
                                          they join hand and hand
                                          for loves be glory
                                          in this fairy tales story

for she's a hard headed women

                                          lovin that soft hearted man

though shes stubborn as an mule
but can make that man still drool
                                          as he's so shy
                                          but captured her roving eye

for she's a hard headed woman
                                          lovin a soft hearted man

                                          a hard headed woman
                                          lovin that soft hearted man

                                          now don't you just think
romance can start out as a wink
even if it may be a little lie
come on little boy now give it a try

for she's a hard headed woman
                                          lovin a soft hearted man

                                          a hard headed woman
                                          lovin that soft harded man

Rose Wine

Your strong hand
beneath my head
my Love in your Blood
turned from friendship
did spread
into More
the first time you
took my Hand
and traveled every
line, of my Flesh land
the way you reflect your soul
Into my Eyes,
makes me forget my small stature
shape, size
in this world
I wish to carry your
future child
be it boy or girl
be them strong of spirit
Smarts of street and class
leaders of Eminence
Sweet mixed with Sass
I see this future
as I fall head first, spilling
into your secure embrace
like a single bottle of Rose Wine
Down to the last Taste

Epitome of My Existence

I am the epitome of my existence
I do my own thing unlike others and thats what makes me different
If u dont like what u are hearing then close your ears
but if you do then listen
Because i may be spittin something that you are missing.
SOme are waiting to rise
while i have already risen
and i have dealt with the scars from your inflicted incisions
NOw i spit many bars and some say i spit prisons
My regurgitated
words are rated
far worse than curse words are stated
and if you dont like my verse' words then hate it
because my complex verbiage make the mind feel complicated
Complexly rated
Maliciously compensated
now my thoughts have congregated
My knowledge grade A 100% concentrated
Poetry is my sixth sense and that what makes me different
And that is why i am the epitome of my existence!!!

Look Inside Yourself

Look inside yourself
For all you wish to see
Look inside yourself
And it will set you free

The answers to your questions
Have been inside since birth
It is up to us to bring them out
And generate their worth

If you keep an open mind
As you go deep within
You'll find out where your going
As well as where you've been

This may not be your first life
No doubt it's not your last
The mind can change your future
But it cannot change your past

So look inside yourself
And when your search is done
You'll find we're all connected
But all a part of One

Expanding Negative-Space

expanding negative-space

...from the eye
of an artist's
howling-pen
language-weeps

language-weeps

after-words language-weeps

from the wounds that reason makes;

seep from wounds of omission,
seep from some-deep-super-scary-Sa?sKara,
seep from some gimme-gimballed lurching-duality,

trembling from the loss of blood
lost in the wailing rhythm of suffering,
...
innocent victims like you and me,
lost between infinite-Love and "I'm not worthy",

there where the manic-music lifts
dreams farther-f u r th e r then the stretchered edges in longings go,

to those places where the bubble-breaks,
there

where all that's left is dark and deep.

Holding the Sun

I grew up in a place I didn't want to be
Became someone that i knew i didn't want to be
Society grabbing me by the throat telling me to be me
But who are they to say that I should be what is not me?
Catastrophe shaking this world, leaving fault lines at the finish line
Scarred for what we have to look forward to
You can't put your soul on hold for all your past pretensions
Earthquakes changing the course of continuation
Throwing vibes from left and right
Hitting the pedal to ignite
What imperial dilemmas that arise from such despise
From what i know i'm just another reflection of disguise, who am i?
Those that float around with no worries in the world,
Don't care about the money, all they've got is what's gold
The people who kill, for power and respect
Dont realize what is out there is what's in the next step
And it's all in their head
We've got all of eternity
The tower of destruction that'll set us all free
Cause in the end we always find that there's another place to be;
physically or mentally.
People walking around with frowns carved into their faces
I wonder if theyll ever look up and see that they've been going places
All along,
Giving up falling down through the cracks of the ground
They're at fault for all loss that was among their own soul
Oh, its a cold world
As it slowly turns, im watching the clock tick as i feel the room burn
And its funny, that people try to play the game of constant manipulation,
Repeated deification.
Thinking they were born alive, but really,
They were only born to die.
No not everyone lives under the sun these days
A lot of those that fear thy own will fall pale in the shade
Under a dead willow
How we all want the sun because it's here for a reason
We all expect it to invest in the seasons
The government work of treason,
Throwing ropes to pull it down
Making this place so much hotter than it was when underground
I can't stand to be bothered by the burn that it's put on my wrist
From slamming this door shut, we've got to put an end to this
We're destroying what's inside ourselves cause of things on all the shelves
Yet he destroys, and he breaks, so we build
They take the money, and we run it while they kill
Although it's kinda funny that the state depends on pills,
I'll hold the sun and run away from all that's real.

The Repetition of Pain

my heart is bleeding
tears and blood dripping from insanity.

how cruel can life be
so many drops of rain and still i find reality

it is so cold to be found
in a place where i never wish i would be

it is breaking me down
to the core of the earth that drives me out to what

i want to be.

and i pray with my knees on the ground

my hands held up high

because i dont want to say goodbye.
and i realised

i dont have a choice

and i seek and hunt for the dreams i wish

my head held up high

because this is who am i
and i realised

i do have a voice

i will shout out loud
i will cry in pain
i will yell out loud
when my journey with you begins ..

i will scream out loud
i will take the pain
throw it away

and i will live a new day.

and i pray to God
i pray to Him

Please give me hope

Please give me strength

to live for just another day

Ars Poetica

it'd be indefinable and unknown,
especially unknown! and these unknowns,
they'd complete us...

it'd start with a cosmic sentiment,
a serendipity that's bent
toward this infinite-in,
where love in a radiant bouquet
bursting to blossom would begin --

there, where there's a music in you
eager to play in a mellifluous-voice
which only the heart can hear,
and it'd take you into a melodious rhythm 'n roll,
a riff 'round the sound of a whirl'd
swelling with a kiss of bliss,
'tis this that'd speak in that uncommon tongue,
the Poetic one --

it'd risk absurdity in an u n f e t t e r e d language,
divested with an unbounded-eye,
(not limited to the fatal-skin yer' in,)
that'd look and look and dare to see,
the beauty of this conflicted sentimental-reality,
this creative-destruction outpouring
into the middle of things
where good Homer nods
over a potpourri that is the Art of Poetry
