Premium Member I Sit Sobbing

I’m staring at the reflection in the mirror -
who is the lady with the grey hair?

Today a strange man came to visit me
I do not recognise him …
He says he is my son

I try hard to remember as we talk about the past
He shows me photographs of his childhood years
Memories come back to me; I sob bleeding tears
Dementia is robbing me, my recall is fading fast

That man has now gone
Saying he will visit soon
Tears flow from my eyes
Trapped in my own little world
I sit sobbing silently

Premium Member Trees Sobbing

trees              sobbing,
                      tortured by rain -
                      insane.

shedding       more skin.
                      more flooding          at feet.

their instinct
tells them

find the sun
or run.

the leaking
   moraine sky
      tumultuous, sly!

no hint of yellow dye
            nor
   floral tablecloth.

Of Sobbing Flames

Love's last light throws ember shadows
sighing coals cast waning arrows
of sobbing flame on lukewarm ground;
twilight spits into the fire,
but cannot slake my starved desire,
bereaved heart cloaked in misery's gown.
How dare Cupid so fickle turn
exchanging smiles for face now stern
stealing my regal red rose crown.

______________________________________________________________

In the realm of fearless pranks, we meet,
Where weakfish lump and teardrops greet.
A sluice of inducement we embark upon,
With words that excoriate as a lethal swan.

With a droplet of grit and a split decision,
We dismantle our panic with precision.
Such a weak swimming against the tide,
We defy expectations; we won't hide.

In this realm of a daring escapade,
We flare a trail, unafraid.
Raze the doubts, raze the walls,
Letting our spirit freely sprawl.

An escapade, a venture, a thrilling bout,
Shoots of adrenaline, there's no doubt.
Through each channel, we navigate,
Teasing danger, embracing fate

Each hint of chutzpah and boldness.
We tame fears if we're brave and relentless.
But beware, for along this path we tread,
There are lacerations that can't be fled.

The journey may leave us fractured and worn.
But in those moments, true strength is born.
Such a broken teardrop, we may feel the pain.
But we gather our courage, ready to regain.

Through the smoke of depreciation and doubt,
We emerge, displacing the fears that shout.
With chloropicrin in our veins, we prevail.
Indenting our mark, leaving no trail.

In this realm of daring escapades,
We find solace in being unswayed.
Even in chaos, we discover peace.
Plucked delight as lachrymator release.

Premium Member A Silent Cry

Babies cry
Because they are afraid
They are hungry
They are sick
They have pain
They want comforting
They want attention
They don't know how to speak
They are helpless
Adults do cry
Because they are sad
They are painful
They are scared
They are lost
Babies may cry noisily
Sobbing all the way
Asking for help
Adults may cry silently
In their hearts
A silent cry for help
From God
And only God
As the world isn't caring
No remedy
No fairness
No freedom of speech
And the silent heart
Is not taking any revenge
Silence is the only way of life

Premium Member Happy Sobbing Over Jane Austin

So absorbed I become, I must hold my breath
While reading of love's unrequited quest
A tissue in hand wipes a tear from my eye
Enthralled with such bliss, I joyfully cry!

Cover to cover, each novel tells the same
Stories of restraint, where respect still had a name
To honor tradition, often true love had to hide
Keeping family dignity, maintaining family pride

Mr. Darcy so adores her....while she dreams about him too
Complex misunderstandings. Oh dear! Now what will they do?
Unrequited love is burning, ...twisting, turning, bending
That final page of yearnings, how I rejoice at happy endings!!

Such sadness and anguish, but as strange as it may seem....
Jane Austin love stories....give me tragic....happy....dreams! !

Beneath the Sobbing Willow

Beneath the sobbing willow,
In her white dress, she stood still.
Eyes closed to the clouds above her,
Hair dancing to the wind's tune.

She has unspoken words,
And no voice to speak.
She held a breath and soon let it go.
With her hand tightly grasping her dress,
She painfully knelt.

And beneath the sobbing willow,
He saw a woman in pain.
Unable to take a step,
He watched her shed tears.

With arms that could not move,
Legs that could not walk,
He watched her deeply afar.
Beneath the sobbing willow,
There's a woman he longed to hug.

Inspired by Mati, a Stubborn, Beautiful, Black Angora

When Mom sat me on the ground, oh, meow, what fun I found.
Loved the out, but now I need in more, so I call and rub our door.
Where's our stuff they carried out, I still smell familiars about?
They just don't hear me yet, I'm sure there's no reason to fret.
Soon I'll be warm, in loving arms, eating food fresh from farms.

I've waited so long ... I regret my lark and fear a loud dog bark.
Dad might show for the mail, see me, restore my confident tail.
They'll pet me and apologize for my situation they didn't realize.
Until then, I can't nap curled tight, I may need to run or fight.
Please, sense me somehow - let me in where I should be now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Honey, I just can't stop sobbing, and I see your jaw throbbing
to keep from crying, too. We did all we could - this can't be true.
We searched yards, streets, the moving van, we shook his treats,
looked in sewers, all while calling his name. This is plain insane!
We waited until four am though we are worn out and had to soar -
there's 1,000 miles to drive, a set time to arrive and more fact-jive
that may cost our sweeties' life. I feel nauseous, this'll haunt us.
Man - why didn't he come? No way this can ever be positively spun.
Hey, call your brother, I know he'd diligently search for our sake.
Out of state? Who else might look? This can't be our baby's fate!
Premium Member Stop Taking Her For Grant It
We exploit her gifts, polluting, robbing.
Mother earth has a soul and we've
all heard her sobbing..
Too many species are now extinct.
We need to slow down, reassess, think..
Exxon, Shell, Chevron need new tools,
stop their reliance on our fossil fuels.
These companies must end their
greedy ambitions. They are responsible
for 71% of our global emissions..
We've known that it's coming.
Don't act perplexed.
We could be the next Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Man has been so blessed with this beautiful planet,
for goodness sakes, lets top taking her for grant it.
That Day
THAT DAY
That day started as any other day,
Then I saw your face swollen and warm,
I think I knew then.
I made the call and drove you there,
I handed you over, not wanting to let go,
I think I knew,
That you wouldnt be coming home.
During the long day I knew,
I sobbed I was so worried,
The call came,
After listening i definitely knew,
I broke down sobbing my heart in bits.
I drove the distance to be with you,
I held you, cuddled you, loved you
The big C had you compleatly,
I told you how much I loved you and gave the nod.
As you passed I asked you to wait for me,
To come for me when it was my time.
My darling Rocky Bear,
You where this woman's BEST friend.
I miss you rocky ***
Premium Member Sobbing With a Stranger
I saw anguish and sorrow in this stranger’s eyes
I sensed a recent drowning or boat accident
my clairsentience whispered it had been her daughter
being an empath and psychic is disturbing sometimes
I did not reach for the woman sitting next to me
park benches are for distancing strangers
but when she reached for me, I enveloped her
and we sobbed together for a while
sunrise ritual
an early mourning stroll, and hours spent passing through as many neighbourhoods,
and sometimes you sob so
violently that you cannot contain
noises breaking past your lips, sounds
usually repressed. sometimes you can only
sob while pacing the streets, and sometimes you
must spend hours shaking, shaking, pacing the streets.
step after step. you roll your shoulders, gasp;
     i think of making you a playlist. i think about the order of the
     songs so i can communicate to you my witness. oh,
     how precious you are. my Love, we sit on secrets. there is more
     to say, that which surpasses language. perhaps, music could help
     approximate; and Dearest, i digress.
     not a playlist. a poem instead,
     gracelessly splattering ink
     in an attempt at abstraction,
     to bring another viewpoint of Love into focus.
     just for you.
Premium Member Tears
So many tears – throughout the years
Tears of doubt when I hoped to find out
That love would win – against my sin
Tears of yearning in my heart, gently burning
Filling me with an ache – but I didn’t break
Tears of compassion who’re never out of fashion
Though understanding left my soul withstanding
So many tears who could quiet my fears
Tears of grace wrapped in love’s embrace
Reminding me that hope can surely cope
Tears of joy who left me feeling like a toy
Putty in the hands of this Savior’s plans
Tears of pain who wept like the rain
Revealing the glow of my heart’s flow
So many tears this life always shares
Tears of praise for the One who will amaze
Abiding in the soul who God made whole
Tears of wonder, louder than the thunder
Living in the heart the mind will never outsmart
Tears of light who teach the spirit to fight
Battling the shadows with faith in the One who arose
Tears aren’t always wrong, at times they’re like a song
Freeing the soul to believe in the love who’ll never deceive
Offering God recompense for our worst offense
Giving Jesus all our praise because He always stays…
Saving those who believe He is the One to whom we cleave
With all our hearts and souls, His love always consoles
He’ll never leave us to endure – our redemption He can secure!
Silent tears hold the loudest pain - author unknown.
Just when I think no one will know,
There comes a soft and gentle flow,
Silently sighing o’er the light,
Stirring my heart’s kindness to glow.
Reflected on moments so bright,
Painting my soul with dreams I write,
Vows broken never can reveal,
Spoken by those who know my plight.
Wonders, breathless, are quite real,
Capture my dreams with their appeal,
Breaking through the murkiest fears,
Proving love is stronger than steel.
Blessing with love that lasts thru years,
Graceful and sure, darkness soon clears,
Even though I weep soundless tears.
Yes, how I weep those soundless tears!
