Best Smoothest Poems
As lovers tethered to the sandy shore
Who feel the soft motion of smoothest waves
As love's warmest lips meet for love and more
In wondrous desires this our moment craves
Beneath the changing sky, our love will find
A sensual realm of dreams we will view
In a world of tenderness so aligned
To wet the quiet eyes from love so true
We'll hold the gentle hand to bond as one
And watch our footprints vanish in the sand
From the night removing red from the sun
Then fill the sky with a stary concert grand
To feel the waves upon love's warmest skin
To save this moment, watch the dawn begin

Sonnet
The past, a memory covered in fog
As shadows hold court though they come and go
A silent movie without dialogue
A dark play with tears is now a freak show
You caused the stage to go black, in shadowed form
Where tears that fell silent tried to hide
And trembling hands were caught in love's storm
Lost in a cloud of anguish, love has died
Once we were lovers, we are nothing now
As we only have the sad tomorrow
And no one will be there to take a bow
Never understood time was to borrow
To be in love again, filled with wonder
To not be sad from love split asunder
We met again, upon the ocean shore
And felt the motion of its smoothest wave
To search for reasons of our love and more
Forgive the anger which became our grave
There between the soft sand and sky, we'll find
Love lost now found, grand as the widest view
A splendid world warm as the waves are kind
To wet our quiet eyes with love that's true
We'll hold the tender hand to bond as one
Watching footprints fade in the warmest sand
And see the red sky from the setting sun
Falling into the night 'till stars command
To feel each wave upon the smoothest skin
Touch the moment when we found love again

Breathe ~ Continued
Yes breathe…
Deeply, then allow your lungs to exhale
as your guide glides your weightless form through the whitest shades of pale
Do not resist, do not fight the feelings of ecstasy night wants you to behold
Yielding to a greater force, at times, is more profitable than gold
When night claims you like a wayward leaf of old,
the smoothest seductive music will gradually unfold
Let night en’trance you, rid you of any mal thoughts or frights
Relax and enjoy a plethora of magical sounds and sights
Yes, hold all your questions until the end
then let night’s metaphorical ears bend!
Navigating you beyond wildest dreams
gold is a burden to carry as you peruse yet unseen, crystal prism-speckled streams
When night claims you like a wayward leaf of old
Carpe Diem for your trip will be repeatedly told
Breathing almost back on auto now,
be still, snap a mental picture of the experience of which you now endow
yes exhale…

When fearful voices in the night began to cry,
Roaring from countless dreams behind the scream,
Dribbled eyes gazing into darkness at the vast sky,
This darksome turn, down into a wet pool of frown.
Perhaps the living of everyday hurts so much
Being stuck in this world always fooling around,
Dredged with pain and despair of being watch,
Drowning with whatever pleasure can be found.
But I feel far away from the depressed bridge
Hearing echoes of merry din sounds in the distance,
Lapping floating charge, cleared and cheered the barge.
Sent in the midst, to bring glorious untwist deliverance.
Into space where stars reside in overwhelming glory,
There is only thing in life more radiant and beautiful
As the reflections beaming from an infinite galaxy,
It is a sultry truth that slides down far into our soul.
The jewels of love shines brightest in the human heart,
With universal temptations from acres of diamonds,
Shining brightly in the vast atmosphere of perfect light
Filling all the void of emptiness with unique demands.
Let love break down the walls that surround the region,
With the Eternal Light selected source of happiness,
And move belief to fill our days with deeper expectation,
By discovering love, the smoothest jewel of bliss.

I'm thinking I have a disease
Despair has gripped me by my feet
Dragged me down to the cold floor
And used me until I couldn't take it anymore
I found a cure to eternal life
Slower and longer than a rusty knife
But it hits me just the same
Cauterized with a smoky flame
My throat is burning
Fingers turning
Over a lighter and a smoke
And my brow is soaked
How long til something finally breaks?
How long until it's more than I can take?
I'm too exhausted to even talk
I'm being worn down like the smoothest rock
I try to strike the match again
Burned my fingers and my smoky brain
A sudden fear comes back to me
Won't you come help me lose my memory?
It's getting easier
To fail to please her,
My addiction to despair
Is stronger than for air
I'm a victim of my own design
I am my own executioner
I'm a victim of my own design
I am my own worst enemy

Lyric
What is that feelin'
Creepin' 'bout my heart,
I think its kind of blue
Breakin' me apart
Fallin' into pieces
How many a heart has,
Once throbbed with neon
And all that jazz
I'm feelin' kind of blue
Not deep enough to cry,
A solemn kind of blue
Don't need to wonder why
Revolving slowly into
This somber attitude,
Azure leanin' on green
A pale, indigo mood
Muffled sounds carry
The smoothest baritone,
Over a muted trumpet
And a sad, sad saxophone
It's nothin' strange to me
Been right here before,
... Turn up the music
Slowly, close the door.

Back To Back We Faced Each Other
By Shericka Murphy
I think the sun sets in his eyes
I think he got wings and that sometimes he flies
I hope he never dies.
And He's so wise--
I think love swims in his soul
He said I make him whole
Man love can really take a toll.
I think he loves everything
And I think the man can sing.
Happiness is all he can bring.
And I think the flowers grow cause' he plants them for me
I think the waves rise because he swims in the sea
And he can be hot and cold, just like tea.
He aint' broke but the love he gives is free.
The richest man I ever did know
And The man moves with the smoothest flow
And man he makes my love grow.
And he makes fun of my big toe
But he loves me though
I know so--
I also think the moon lights the earth cause' he told it to
I think he's the reason why the cows go moo
I think he's the reason why everything does what it do
And I think he knew--
That I loved him when he first came on the scene
I think that's why he stays so clean
You know what I mean
He knows how to make me feel like a lady
And he he never be actin' shady
He didn't ask me to love him, he made me
Cause' I think his heart is made of gold
His bruises are new but his pain is old
Or so I was told
He took my flesh and he began to mold.
I officially belong to him
And we both love to love when the lights are dim
And we don't care about them--
Or what they have to say
We do what we wish, and we wish what we may
And it's okay--
And we can sleep outside and be alright
We can hold each other just as tight
As the night--
Falls around us, and we can hear his mother
Yelling crazy things at his brother
And back to back we faced each other

Last night, I requested a quiet storm;
defining it to be the paradise of cooperation without suspicion.
I pressed play and she agreed to join in this equation
we attempted to be, briefly and ever so flowing.
I must admit, we were not our suppressed forms of the day,
the suit and skirt majored in dollar signs, deprived of lustful bareness.
And yet the moon promised to compliment the sky in memory
of our slow drag these previous hours.
I recall the bass as ever so tempting, a taboo persuasion;
she swayed in imitation of the smoothest crime to guide
through these guilty hands.
Two hours into symmetry, the portrait of sweaty candles
and the common skip of track six were indeed familiar. The faint and
exhausted sight of pearls settled at our feet, as the ordinary
and mundane cease to exist; only the mark of flesh was left to adorn.
How sweet the hours have come to be,
as the cherry pie has not forgotten that first time, another time that never shuffles.
Still, tattoos such as last night keep matrimony afloat. As the crown of Sirius
edged through the window pane, there laid a Queen’s descent into a state of peace;
and dare I not disrupt this one flesh by refusing to retire the night myself.
So I said good night with the ease of chemistry.
Other motions of this earth…may now continue.

All those sentimental Christmas songs with romantic pretty lines
like "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" or
"As Long as you love me so, let it snow
let it snow,
let it snow" -
I'd love to take the feeling of nostalgia each lovely phrase invokes
and wrap it around me like a warm woolen cloak.
But words do not suffice,
and imagination, no matter how sweet,
will not see me through a long cold winter's night.
I look up at a sky ablaze with stars.
They cannot match the light within your shining eyes.
I want to BE with you, snuggled by a fire,
the steady glow of your adoring eyes on mine;
the touch of your fingers on my face;
and the touch of my own fingers, trembling, as I trace your smile
before you lean in for the softest, smoothest kiss.
Oh, for the beautiful melt of the season
as the warmth of REAL sensations soak into my skin.
No, a mere fond memory simply cannot do!

This smooth brown coloured ecstasy …
this soft textured sweetness of delight,
melts gently on the taste buds evenly,
satisfying passion with every loving bite.
Thank you to the Aztec Indians
of more than a thousand years ago,
who experimented with the cocoa bean,
and passed on an obsession we all know.
The roasting bean and smoothest liquor
waft overriding through the open air,
with sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder;
the most adorable of food is blending there.
I am proud to say that I’m addicted
to this mouth-watering of sweets,
beginning after morning breakfast
through until my bedtime treats.
Coated almonds, flaked, over biscuits,
dark roasted, full cream, milky white;
a cup of cocoa made with hot milk -
then dreams of chocolate through the night.

Standing high atop a canyon
wall, a rising, thermal current
warmed my weathered face with gentle,
smoothest, invisible fingers.
Overhead a lone eagle glides
effortlessly, circling, dipping
downward, ostensibly playing.
His iterate screeching echoes
loudly through the narrow chasm.
Genuine freedom on the wing
but unaware how free he is;
and I who deems to be as free
knows that it’s only an ideal
one that can never be achieved.

Verse
To be in love along a rushing shore
And feel movements belong from smoothest wave
To kiss soft hungry lips for love and more
Obtain our love's desire we need and crave
It's there beneath the lighted sky I find
Love that's found as grand as the widest view
A splendid world demands the waves are kind
To wet the quiet eyes with love that's true
And hold the tender hand to bond as one
While watching footprints land in pebbled sand
And see the long red sky from setting sun
Fall in a sigh until bright stars command
We'll feel each wave upon the warmest skin
And save each moment , watch the dawn begin

You once gave me such a thrill, eager
To meet you with a yearning heart full
So hungry, thirsting for your vibrant
Flow of crimson devotion, love so
Alive with serenity and dreams
Awakening hope within my soul
Lighting up my whole life with kindness
Exploding with whispers of feeling
Caressing my spirit with soft warmth
Painting my nature with hues of hope
Brilliant shades of joy and soothing faith
Singing to my soul of fond friendship
You once gave me a feeling that was
Filled with loving vows resonating
Within, where every vision gossips
About the longings that thrive inside
Where wonders embrace all my beliefs
Assure my dreams that they will have wings
Encourage my love to feel real
Like the sun rising round the mountains
Touching the cold limbs and branches with
Warmth from the middle of the fond heart
Catching the touch of moments breathing
Flawless grace through the spirit’s essence
You once gave me promises of love
Today you sigh grimly of wrinkles
And tresses that resemble silver
Where I once shone with vibrant color
And smoothest skin roaring innocence
Birthday, my friend, go back where you’ve been

R-iding in a fast and coolest BMW,
O-verwhelmed by the fantastic view,
A-nother experience to be with nature,
D-azzling scenery, greenest earth so pure,
T-rip with a great mission in reality,
R-oads are smoothest away from the city,
I-nteresting discovery as we travel along,
P-eople are awesome as my companion.

Let the me in you
Let the you in me
Be at the very heart
Be the very heart
Of the us in you
Of the us in me.
Let the me in you
Let the you in me
Mate and melt down
To be the very one
To be the only one
They are meant to be.
Let love
Be the main road
Let love
Be the only road
Between you and me.
Let love
Be the smoothest road
Let love
Be the straightest road
Between you & me.
