Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

Every cloud has a silver lining
in dark there's light no need to fear
                              if patience's kept living righteously
bad days become good luck dear

When Sun sets brings then dark
after passing time light comes again
it doesn't mean that light's forever
in life there's both happiness and pain

                                in despair hold conscience strong
think positive will happen very near
go ahead on with true courage
see everything bad has gone clear

?The day my Silver lining vanished away?

I was traumatized,
After walking through the bedroom door.

No movement, or sign,
Not one single breath left behind,
the canvas has been painted black.
Not a single image on the wall,
I took one last gasp----- of nothing,
No hint of musk in the air,
Silently, I stare, to the unknown
The positive aspect, gone,
My unseen benefit is missing,
The absent suitcase,
The only clue!
The burglar took it all,
the garbage stood alone.
This is not my home.

Chaotic, disconcerted
After walking through the bedroom door.

No words can blunt the pain of a broken heart
Though dulcet melodies may soothe it for a while
Much more than tears dost thou impart
With time once more to see your golden smile

How then can thee revive thy broken dreams
Doth sorrow's weight besiege thy soul?
Lo, the weight is lighter than it seems
With time the silver lining gleams

But who can mend a broken soul?
What unseen force can repair the inner core
He who dwells on high can make you whole
Like stars, your light will shine once more

And when the silence is broken by thy thoughts
Your spirit will rise above the dreams you sought

She Is a Silver Lining

There was no brilliance
in the photo I took.
No inspired flash
as time's translucence
caught up with us...
Filtered past blinds,
early Sun's elegance
haloed her grey cloud curls,
soft blurred the lines
between past and presence

I said: "Just tilt your head
a little bit to the left..
Now where's that Smile?"

Captured she is.
In my heart's new album.
Pocketed providence.
With her Silver and Gold
" pennies for thoughts..."

In the photo she looks
like a shy child
aglow in the sunshine.
After a storm.

Dedicated to my Mum.
You've lived up to your names: Thelma Grace- "Willful, and Graceful..."
It might take some time for a daughter to realize how many positive " life lessons " she has learnt from the First Woman in her life.
I am grateful for your motherly mentorship. Never to be forgotten!
I love you with all my <3.

The Silver Lining

There is a time we must accept
When the road leads where we do not expect

Be willing for a sudden detour
Open your eyes for what you can explore

It will never be the same story told
For what you choose, go proudly and be bold

Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

Some days are soft and pretty, like pale lilac
Others - cold as ice and dark like charcoal black

While some days preserve your peace of mind
Melancholy takes over some, leaving you in a bind

Today, your high spirits might be serving the perfect afterglow
Fears, rage, and uncertainties might hold your soul hostage tomorrow

One day, you could be imagining yourself on the final stepping stone to success
Achieving that dream might feel like boiling the ocean on the next

But that's life - a carousel of perspectives and sentiments
Some training the novices, some draining even the toughest presidents

Here's where you remind yourself of how you made it this far;
About how many bad days you fought through without a scar
And how you didn't ever surrender - being an unsung superstar

So, collect these triumphs to build yourself stronger than ever before
And remember - you must live the bad days to love the good ones even more

In its thunderous voice, the sky spoke
"Let the rains fall upon you"
"Beware the hurricanes" ...the wind screamed
Electricity filled the atmosphere
Gods raised their rods
Forests trampled by mudslides
Snow blanketed the plains, and...
The deserts oases claimed to be real
Then,
Showing its face; the sun
Spoke in warmth...
 "Life"
Let there be!

Blue sweetly Jack frosted fingers
bite down deep inside trembles
Grasping claws on frozen air
each touch gently breathing
out a cloud of the softest
Silken satin holding you
In each and every single breath
A soul kissing beauty in song sings
I go weak at the knees in honor
flying dreams dancing with the spirits
Together we have found Heaven
Just in that one kiss honey
I will rock you forever gently
always holding you sweetheart close
embracing the heart within
these open arms smiling dew
falling love frozen precious pearls

There Is Still a Silver- Lining

You let me in, but dismayed me in your life's plan
But I poured out never my anger
On all my liberties you struck a ban.....

Yet your follies I tried my best to tinker
You set a dark dream of fantasy
Pushed me into the deep, dark , scary corner

Made a dumb -doll out of me for all your
                                              whims and fancy
Blamed me, Cursed me, tortured me for
                                         all your misfortune
So cheaply you took me for granted all
                           because am your fiancee??

Yet I suffered in silence, stood by you when
                                            all left you alone...
Not to prove that 'am great enough to forgive
                                              and accept you
But it's because, I believe that this bad spell is a
                                             brief sojourn...

Being rejected, your mind is in turmoil demanding
some time and space to renew
A little love for me, like a silver-lining I see in you
                                                        still left as residue!!!!!

Silver Lining

Let’s chase the silver lining
Among the dark clouds
Through the moonbeams
Below the abyss of sea

Among the dark clouds
Where the thunder lies
Below the abyss of sea
Where the monster lurks

Where the thunder lies
Through the moonbeams
Where the monster lurks
Let’s chase the silver lining

Silver Lining

The sun rose more than an hour ago
But the morning is a dismal gray.
Windows are fogged with a clinging mist
Looks like we're in for a rainy day.

The sky is overpowering the sea.
Visibility is restricted.
Dune fences slick from hard driving rain.
Have been uprooted, torn, and twisted.

I struggled to keep an upbeat mood,
but my demeanor was sinking fast.
When out on the choppy slate gray sea
A pod of dolphins went popping past.

Slick silver skin, triangular fins.
Undaunted by inclement weather.
They frolicked and splashed in the water.
And right then, my mood got much better.
