Best Shimmer Poems
Cover me in diamond dust; I will shimmer bright.
I no longer wish to be marching in the invisible brigade; I wish to march in future in big and bright parades.
Let me be a light.

Rattled into action,
I’m no damsel in a tower.
I’m Sleeping Beauty, grown—
not rescued,
just rested.
Wrapped in gratitude,
a quiet kiss waiting.
So I crush every mistake,
every “no,”
every moment I felt less than—
they were the broth
that brined my spine,
seasoned my soul.
I do not recount sorrows
steeped in regret.
I do not carve my psyche
with clever metaphors.
I do not dance
through the dust of broken dreams.
I bask
in the brilliance buried
beneath defeat.
Not lost.
Only redemption.
I sip from the same scorched cup—
the bitterness now dulled,
the burn made warm.
I steep old wounds in truth,
brew them into wisdom.
Every ache a root
pushing me into new life.
Every silence
a seed I didn’t know I’d planted.
The knowing always strikes first—
a hush pierced by sirens,
pulse breaking in the bones,
a hunger without a name,
a reaching
for something that does not yet exist.
Even the thorns I cursed—
named after lovers
I mistook for home—
became compass needles,
pointing me back to myself.
I do not recount sorrows steeped in regret.
I do not carve my psyche with metaphors.
I do not waltz through wreckage.
I bask—
in the hush after heartbreak,
in the shimmer beneath scars,
in the beauty that bloomed
when everything broke.
Not lost.
Not ruined.
Only—
becoming.
And still,
I bask.

Glitter pours
from rose red lips
fingers graze frozen
stone still hips
I just want
to try one thing
As i make
Your cold heart sing
Let it go
and glitter rains
from forgotten touch
and ice cold veins

"Two doves in white flying, feathers glow,
'neath the morning's rainbow colors"
Quote By: Charles Messina
Beauty and diversity of creation;
Clouds blossom against the blue sky.
Awe-inspiring to see birds' migration.
In God's heaven as winter comes near,
Alive in flutters flowing music adorn sky,
dove's soft coo-OO-oo song echoes so clear.
Their white-wing feathers shimmer by the setting sun.
They hide till artist hand a Rainbow against a blessed sky,
however, nestle, their coo-OO-oo song heard still at night.

Ember fired sunrise
Mother dawns sleepy slit eyes
Fahrenheit in flux
azure skies stretch overhead
Puffy clouds play hide and seek

glitter sparkling in
my make-up , in my hair, and
in my nail polish
makes me feel thrown from the stars
to luster-hungry earth.

It's all been said and done
What was once complete is now completely undone
Things have changed
We've become two separate people
Now realizing the same thing
We were never in love
Just under a spell
Glazing reality with a shimmer, a veil
Then you realize, the love and happiness was never real
No one's meant to be happy
We're all destined to be hurt
To fell at loss and alone
Solitude and confinement is our only hope
Keeping in mind all your past devotions
You must float through the motions
Unhinged and unbroken
Ignoring all of your emotions
To say this haze I'm living in is just a phase
Is basically saying why even wait?
To end this madness, this unworldly disease
I now realize I must end me

Dark storm clouds shimmer.
Thunder and lightning advance.
Hear them crash and roar.

Realise and enhance your strength.
Stop worrying, be insouciant.
Nail it! Do not ever quit.
The triumph shall always shimmer.
Strength is invincible will.
Cogitate and play the game.
Sorrow leads to grave defeat.
Tears shall slay, the injured soul.

I walked in a dream
where things weren't what they seemed
way beyond the shimmer
every thing glowed with an inner light
giving the dark landscape a silver sheen
the light came from with in
the child of man
I was able to see their souls
I saw how they were tainted
with greed
lust
wanton need
evil's dark seed
this made their souls dim
then I saw
beyond the shimmer
where the mist thinned
a sea where children played in its waves
setting little paper boats afloat
filled with petals
I asked and they told
how the boats were filled with their hopes and dreams
and if they were sealed with wax how they would last to send them to god beyond the sea
I stood with them to watch them sail
way beyond the shimmer
glinting with a silver sheen (c) mjr 2008

Dear future one
I know you're miles away
I don't know when you'll run
To come and take me your way
So I decided to find you
Tried to see you in the crowd
And found some good ones too
But my heart never allowed
So I went from there
Somewhere I thought you would be
So I could see your eyes shimmer
And see how drunk I could be
I know we are miles apart
And don't even know each other
But you still reside in my heart
And I am sure, soon we'll be together
Don't worry your darling is waiting
And will wait for you until you come
I will even start levitating
To pray for your wholesome
Don't know what future have for us
The time, place and situation is still unknown
But our meeting is must
As to the world it will be shown.

I believe in the whisper of wings
unseen but felt,
like a soft breeze brushing past
on the stillest of days.
I believe in the sudden glow
of warmth within
when shadows press too close,
when the world seems
too heavy to bear.
Not in halos or robes,
not in golden trumpets,
but in the gentle nudge
toward the right path—
a stranger’s kind word,
the resilience of a child’s laughter,
the steadfast light
of the moon watching over us all.
I believe in moments that shimmer
like dewdrops caught in dawn,
where grace lingers quietly,
unassuming, unnoticed by many,
but undeniable once found.
Perhaps angels are not
what stories say—
not celestial beings
descending in splendor,
but the hidden threads
weaving miracles into the mundane.
So yes,
I believe in angels—
not because I’ve seen them,
but because I’ve felt them.
