A Shimmer, a Veil

It's all been said and done

What was once complete is now completely undone

Things have changed

We've become two separate people

Now realizing the same thing

We were never in love

Just under a spell

Glazing reality with a shimmer, a veil

Then you realize, the love and happiness was never real

No one's meant to be happy

We're all destined to be hurt

To fell at loss and alone

Solitude and confinement is our only hope

Keeping in mind all your past devotions

You must float through the motions

Unhinged and unbroken

Ignoring all of your emotions

To say this haze I'm living in is just a phase

Is basically saying why even wait?

To end this madness, this unworldly disease

I now realize I must end me
