Integration
Being an American in Australia isn’t easy,

but I’m trying to integrate;

I’m trying to fit in.

Just one of the boys with all the right expressions

under my belt, like:

        pasty glut

        cosmetic spring...

Altruist
Altruist stands against Egoist,
Against his own life stands;
Red with blood his eyes are,
Plucked by his selfless hands.
___________________________

Altruist follows the leader,
Who knows not where to go,
But down into lifeless darkness
Where all false leaders go.
______________________________

Altruist follows ruts and hollows of selfless service worn;
Altruist bellows to his fellows,...

Fifty-Percent: a Paradox
Power is too devastating a concept for the groundlings to scourge on.

Instead, we thrive on inspiration,
A hope that things could change.

And those luxurious bourgeoisie that roam the outskirts of reality, have no limits,
 But unfortunate for them, they also have no ties to humanity.
Floating above...

The Dream
Adrift in the coldness of a dream
A laughter echoed with shivery
Haunting every unredeemed souls
Of those who are denied and weary.

Echoing yells and constant weeps
Those cries are more excruciating
Others trapped in a slime head deep
Of treachery, lies and self-deceiving.

That laughter grow increasingly
To every dampen...

50 Stories High
“Step into my office, young novice
Clear off the tears from your face
Because they’re pointlessly burrowing into orifices
Tuning wounds that will bloom into a fixed gear race
Shift from fifth gear to disgrace
And if you don’t have anything to say about today
Then trust these crooked, red-rimmed and...

In the Bedroom
In the Bedroom

Cool, callous, catatonic in the calm silence
  About to experience the virtues of violence
In his mind, the blind eye was violations seeing
  What flicker of light in her eyes, simply fleeting
He came to project what he was believing
  In order...

Unwanted Pregnancy
What would a womb swell
And things suddenly cease to be well…
A life whose mother didn‘t guess
Would her tummy access:
The very last thing by her expected
And certainly the unlikeliest to be respected.

From carelessly monitored fun with crafty men,
Usually two or three guys or a reckless ten,
The...

Premium Member The Narcissist In Rhyme
Narcissism shows its ugly head in so many ways
Sharp put-downs to show one’s superiority
A heightened sense of one’s importance, and
Usurping, whenever possible, another’s authority.

Self-deceiving, and never able to admit defeat
Being in love with themselves, misplaced vanity
Slipping into unbelievable fantasy and self-delusion
If not properly treated, it...

Challenging the Mirror
Deepening my answers
Another challenger awakes
To reveal to me my shadows
To then witness my mistakes

Always I had listened
In close proximity
To self-inflicted violence
To the end of harmony

Casting shadows in the sunlight
I was trapped within the walls
Where a child then controlled me
Until the buildings grew too tall

My darkness...

“which memories to us are near
moments of joy or those of fear”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some like romance
Others horror films
Joys of innocence
Or adrenaline grim
Life is but a play
Which we direct
As actors we sway
Since we forget
When we do awake
We laugh at last
Burning at the stake
Was just a...
Premium Member Agreeing To Disagree
I have noticed
in negative strong
long feeling settings
a willingness
to accept impatience
to reluctantly embrace tolerance
and Agree to DisAgree.
Yet, to equate this conclusion
with cooperatively
and actively Agreeing to Positively Agree
with anticipation
rather than further win/lose anxiety
would be to overvalue tolerance
and to underestimate
differences between green systemic logic
and self-deceiving red v blue...
Fooling Myself
A thousand needles
	with sharp shining points
cutting harshly in
	tender soft flesh
burning hot needles
	searing as they go
piercing deeper in
	with every painful step
ripping caring agony
	muscles ripping apart
in agony collapsing
	on ground so very hard
weakly grasping lifting
	strength and vigor gone
lifting climbing upward
	unsteady standing barely
burning hot pain searing
	piercing through tender joints
gasping...
Premium Member Speaking In Tongues
Life shouldn’t be a punishment for living
We can’t be regulated by machines
Accustomed to the stupid self-deceiving
Our freedom is a bird of slavish dreams
Where to it flies, avoiding troubles on its way
We never wonder, giving it the flight control
But freedom seeks its master everyday
And...
