Thoughts of Two Dimensions

Thoughts of Two Dimensions

Yesterday, I loved your courtyards
bathed in moonlight's shadows and smiles,
smitten by wavering stars,
lanterns of my youth,
that are reflected as coins,
in the quiet waters of your fountains.
Those are my reminiscences
arabesque creatures of an old chest,
sanctified by the lavender,
and left on the bottom of my wardrobe.

Today, I love your crowded streets,
pebbled alleyways that breathe
with aromas of kitchens,
shouts of children quarreling,
and nagging of older women
behind those awnings and windows of life well known.

Tomorrow, I will love your hot paved squares
that open to the harbors and promising high seas
while cypresses will send regards to far away winds,
and seagulls will sing nostalgia cries
of wandering merchants and sailors.

A Season Lost

The season I lost
A season which can't be found
The past, never came

Another season
Approaching my vision now
I cannot miss it

This time, I will know
The experience I'll gain
from this new season

If I miss this chance
I will lose my fall feeling
and the love I had

The experience
my experience will last
if i hold my sight

I blinked and it left
the love I had left my heart
the season has passed

A Fall Tanka

Crisp air thin and dry
Snuggles under covers sweet
Giggles and tickles
Fall into love once more dear
Sprinkle love like leaves aground

Pour Love

Pour love everywhere
Veer fairy lilies gently
Thrilling spring’s beauty

Plant white carnation
Daisies are chanting “Holy”
Freeing harmony

Pour love everywhere
Palm branches cuddle lily
Wine is spring’s honey

Plant dwarf gladiolus
A rosy crown is homey
Fairy’s sketch pretty.

Premium Member My Carrot

I love the orange coloured skin
My carrot has to tempt my eyes
I love the crunchieness within
Which with my teeth I realise

I munch, I chew, I taste the juice
The sweetness of the central core
Willingly I let seduce
This vegetable, this paramour.

There is no finer time than this
A summer's sunset in a field
A carrot slowly chewed is bliss
My soul is calm, my stomach filled.

Sunlight

Purposeful and proud the blooms appear
Underneath the sky there's such delight
I can feel the warmth of love so dear
By my side you bring me the sunlight

Walking hand in hand we smell the breeze
Springtime in our hearts creates such calm
Sunshine filters through the blossoming trees
Falling down upon us like a balm

Decorate my hair with flowered bows
Given to us from the pastures green
Mighty joy and happiness here grows
As we get caught up in this love scene

Spring is in the air and so is passion
Beautifying everything in sight
Wearing adoration like a fashion
Basking in the depth of love's sunlight

Spring Feeling (An Ode To Michigan)

I love farmland in spring
and new beginnings
and winning in extra innings.
I love a fat lady singing;
barbecues, chilling, grilling;
no curfews, imported brews;
a lime or two beautiful women;
swimming in ocean michigan.
Bonfires waterside
with fire flies flying by;
whiskey bottle by my side;
sitting, sipping, simply wishing
summertime would continue.
But autumn's harvest wont be far off
and winter blowing in is looking grim.

Love In Each Season

When my love trek through each season,
know that it is for a special reason.
So, as that affection travels among the heat waves of Summer,
such lust shall explode like the bomb of a bomber.
And, while those flaming emotions journey across the withering Autumn,
my burning passion will not fall but be a strong fiery column.
Yet, when this fervor traverse the freezing icestorms of Winter,
cold nor snow will cause my fire to be *inter.
Then, finally, in the time of Spring-
a brand new bloom of love shall this bring.

*Inter- means to bury a (corpse,etc.).

When Love Was Innocently Given

When love was innocently
given and this once gorgeous boy, merely fourteen,
choose a red-haired girl
to be his special friend;
he offered her a smooch sweeter than honey,
to find delight on her rosy cheek...

She smiled back and shyly kissed me,
I plucked a blue lily from a meadow painted in green,
and put it in her soft hair resembling Autumn's auburn leaves;
some warm raindrops fell on her brown eyes so pretty,
decorating her lovely face with happy tears:
while a robin, with yellow wings, spied on us with curiosity...

Sweetheart, you certainly were surprised and much pleased
by the performance of my first, phenomenal kiss,
which lasted longer than it should have, indeed;
you thought I wasn't old enough to feel both affection and bliss:
without knowing the meaning of their profundity,
but I felt a desire that couldn't wait until I reached puberty....

My adorable darling, adolescence has endured, not passed,
and age has made you extremely charming and beautiful!
I have grown and look as handsome as a fair prince,
recalling that moment which never slipped into a time so vast:
a memory cherished by a thought so fond and reachable,
to relive that gallant gesture of warmth and innocence...

When love was innocently given and kisses
were the fragrance of delicate roses,
these lips touched to share tenderness;
oh, those young hearts were not vain, greedy and shallow;
all the spontaneous smiles were genuine surprises:
adolescents sharing laughter, cuddling under the splendid rainbow!

Premium Member Tulips

Rows and rows of tulips
Planted in rows by color
Blowing in the breeze
Like a flag of multicolor

Oh! How lovely in spring
To see the tulips with green
Hear the bird's voices sing
If thinking made it so

Off to spring I would go
Carrying little just a notebook
Where I could write, and look
At the cottony clouds

Finding shapes that I say
Outloud, thinking on shades
Of blue and how much I love you
But thinking is only a dream

Where my love I entertain
Reality sets in and then
The work of the day begins
But even then I get carried away

Come with me today
Into the land of fantasy and play

Life and the Elements

Where am I to run, when I get afraid,
The moon bursts in a hundred flames when I finaly escape.
Sprinting fast as lightning, falling hard as rain,
Nothing ever seems to help to purify this pain.

A thousand hearts will break, every single day,
Is it bad for me to view the world in such a way?
Plowing through the tundras of our unforgotten past,
Waiting for the sun's bright rays to melt the snow at last.

See I do not appreciate theleaves hiding the ground,
It represents the purest truth that shant ever be found.
If love is what yearn for, you'll have to climb a bit,
For love awaits on top of mountains,on the very tip.

Finding your life's meaning is not an easy task,
But if you follow what you love you'll teaar off lie's great mask.
So keep on trying don't give up i guess and I suppose,
Follow love and you will see life bloom into a rose.

Winter Sun

The rustle of a leaf
And a smiling mouse.
The rustle of a leaf
And the cold cold chill.

The winter's sun looks sad.
Flowers cease to bloom.
My love for winter, is beyond the sun
My love for winter is gone.

You killed the trees
And the rustling leaves.
The tiny mouse ran from you.
Did you ask the mouse, why?

The rustle of the leaf is gone.
My empty heart is dead.
The rustle of the leaves,
My rodent friend is dead.

Christmas Cheer (Noel)

This time of year, it changes here
As the people come together
With a big smile, lasting a while
Enough to outlast the weather

Yes, in our hearts, where love does start
The season is felt deep inside
For all good cheer, this time of year
Is then shared with love and with pride

A Season of Love

A Season of Love has Come…
Like a Tree lifts its limbs – Spread Your Arms
And Welcome this Freedom from…
… A Cold and Lonely Winter Storm

A Season of Love – in Bloom…
Every Day, is like a Day in June
You Picked the Bride… I Picked the Groom
Not too Late… Nor Too Soon

… and its Fresh; Funny and Wonderful!
Its Work; Its Play… Its Worth It All!
It’s a Butterfly, Above Flowers
It’s a Heartbeat’s Ground-Breaking Power…

A Season of Love – did Bring…
The Thaw of, Slow-Moving Mountain-Streams
Your Kisses, Melted into My Spring…
Once Again – We Now, are Steam!

A Season of Love, has Sown…
… Seeds, We could not Bear – Alone
So Together, We have Grown…
A Season of Love… To Live On…

Heavenly Lovers

Your love for eachother burns with a passion
The both of you even have the same kind of fashion
Compassion for eachother will never change
Even at a distant range
Fire burning hotter than any sun
The two of you together have always won
Your love will burn forever and ever
The flame never fades like a cooling ember
It always stays the same and never changes
Like the cool month of November
Because it never grows cold like December
Comparing that your love is similar to summer
It will always burn forever and ever...
