A Woman's Work Is Never Done

"A Woman's Work Is Never Done",
a phrase that's often heard.
There's a lot of truth that's hidden,
just in those few words.

She has to cook and clean the house
and get her youngsters off to school.
She does the laundry and the shopping
and teaches kids the "Golden Rule".

She drives them to the movies
and attends their school events.
She satisfies her husbands needs,
her life is real intense!

She asks for little in return,
she just does what must be done.
She feels it's all the woman's job,
and sometimes, it's even fun!

So kudos to those women.
Let's stand and give a toast.
They accomplish all these many tasks,
for the folks that they love most.

Next time the phrase is uttered,
"A Woman's Work Is Never Done",
pray that God will bless them all,
each and every one!

Many thanks to all you ladies.
God bless each and everyone of you.

He tries to ignore her,
but she drags him close.
He tries to resist her,
but he needs it to pacify his pain.
His head aches with loud vibrations,
antagonised by her absence.
She is his pimp - he is her willing slave.

Like a fish caught on an angler's bait,
she reels him in, to devour her catch.
He knows her lethal reflection,
but he needs to tame the beast.
The needle tears a purple hole,
but he is now a unicorn flying high,
soaring among eagles,
free from the chains of tolerance.

Temporarily she satisfies his lust,
but once the buzz dies,
his bleak veins throb for more.
A bruise remains and that is all people see.
His face is gaunt,
his eyes yellow and his frame now frail.
Nobody makes eye contact nor do they trust him.

With their ignorant judgmental eyes,
they fail to see, what he really needs is to be saved.
Wounds are healed by love,
addiction is made worse by hate.

Premium Member In Celebration of Real Men

The strength of a man is not determined
By his muscles or his brawn
It is determined by his strength
To admit when he is wrong

The wisdom of a man
Is not determined by myriad facts
It is determined by the way
That wisdom is seen in his acts

The integrity of a man
Is not determined by his claim
It is determined by the reputation
That follows around his name

The love of a man
Is not determined by mere time
It is determined by each moment
That he makes you feel sublime

The sexual prowess of a man
Is not related to his size
It’s how he satisfies your needs
And what you see there in his eyes

The chivalry of a man
Is not determined by his manhood
It is determined by how he nurtures
You to revel in womanhood

The passion of a man
Is not his need to self-gratify
It is determined by how often
He makes the effort to satisfy

The wealth of a man
Is not seen in monetary things
But by those things that are free
That to your life he brings

The age of a man
Is not seen in the age life deals
But by the strength of his heart
And how young he makes you feel

The sweetness of a man
Is not determined by what he says
But it's determined by the fact
That you want him more each day

The humour of a man
Is not determined by a hurtful tease
It’s determined by how your laugh
When his words your heart please

A man is an awesome creation
That I’m determined to venerate
As Eve’s daughter much in love
This male wonder I celebrate.

Often I Wonder, Is It Worth It

Often I wonder, is it worth it

Opening my eyes to blurred red numbers each morning,
broken lines of early hour countings,
as gloomed darkness peers through streaked windows
and dusty mini blinds create silent wooden horizons

Groaning, upright now on the edge of the mattress…stretching,
rubbing my face to remove the remnants of last night,
shoving aside the warmth of my faded flannel blanket,
then finding a cold floor giggling at the touch of my naked feet

I recall the dream, my last moments of sleep…weird…real feeling
Aerosmith, a souvenir stand in Wildwood and an iPad
Sketchy but still there (and I wish I were too)
Don’t ask….

I can hear my dogs grunting at the foot of bed
(Probably chasing raccoons in their heads)
What a life, eating, sleeping, no need for love (in that sense),
just a nice pat on the head every once in a while satisfies

Sometimes I guess that is all it takes, all we can hope for…
Still sitting here, yawning…thinking…
Why do I do this each day, every day, the same routine,
the deepest rut, like tire tracks in fresh mud, straight, never ending…

Then, as the tiniest glint of sunlight sifts the tenebrous room
I think of you…my happiness, my everyday purpose and it all becomes clear
Smiling now, I stand and greet this brand new beautiful day…wide awake
Often I wonder, is it worth it...and then I wonder why I wonder

Twas the Night Before Easter

He knows if you are sleeping,
He knows when you're awake,
He knows if you've been bad or good.
Zombie Jesus must be staked!

So eat your crackers and wine,
And think that you'll be saved,
But that's not why he's here because
Your brains are what he craves!

He'll never stop his rampage.
Not until he's fully fed,
But nothing satisfies his hunger
Like what rattles in your head.

He's coming down the chimney.
He's underneath your bed.
You think you can outrun him,
But soon you will be dead.

So you better not whisper,
You better not cry
Cuz even a shot between his eyes
Won't stop Zombie Jesus, tonight..

Free Spirit

with Jesus in our life
it feels like our spirit can fly high
like the birds in the sky
we don't have to fear anything
not even the lion that roars
for when life tries to knock us down
the Lord picks us up and makes our spirit soar
he carries us making us feel like we are floating on air
no matter how far we fall
Jesus will catch us
Jesus will be there
he sets us free
through him our spirits are kept high
as free as the birds flying in the sky.

Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

 REVELATION 12 V 14

The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach.

Exodus 19:4

4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

Deuteronomy 32:11

The Lord was like an eagle
    teaching its young to fly,
always ready to swoop down
and catch them on its back

Psalm 103:5

who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Freedom in Christ

5 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Amen

we are free spirits through him that gives us strength.

Oh, Yes.

I have a new lover, the best that I have had in a while; he satisfies my insatiable
appetite...

anytime ~

day
or
night;

He is Italian, and he brings his very own pesto sauce for me to spread...

all over his large body;

Oh ~ his meat...thick...tantalizing...so tasty, and his buns ~ oh, so warm...

If you are lonely some evening, and you need to be satisfied, one call and he is
soon there...ready...

just
for
you...

Of course, there is plenty if you are a sharing soul. Our initial meeting occurred
today when my daughter brought him home...

Premium Member The Benefits of God

Give praise to God!
Call upon Him.
The joy is this - that you can call upon Him.

While it is day, before the darkening of days,
sing to Him. Laud his deeds!
Indeed, his deeds are worthy of praise.
He allows this - our praise.
Give praise to God!

Have you considered the wonder
of His works? Consider them now.
Give praise to God!

Glory Hallelujah His name!
His name, Jesus, is above all names.
His fame spreads and He’s victorious.
Seek Him while it is still day.

Seek God and His strength.
His face shines glory forever.

Who forgives all your sins,
heals all your diseases,
redeems your life, is good,
kind, tender with mercy,
satisfies, is pleasant,
renews your youth?

Vengeance is His. God will make things right.
Our time on earth is short. Long is eternity.
Choose wisely. The benefits of God are rich.

The devil pays no dividends - his desserts
are like dust and gravel, whipped cream topped.
It’s not gummy worms that fill your bowl.
It is not brave to eat this stuff.

Choose wisely. Can you see the day
when you stroll, place to place. Each one
brings more pleasure than the last.
O the friends, the company will last,
the joy, the laughter, streets of pure gold,
your loneliness cured, your boredom relieved,
O child of the King! Sing of His wonder,
sing of His benefits, sing with all the saints!

A fulfilled life is verily possible with God
the marvelous perfect Planner
designing it by His magnificent grace
to radiate in us divine awesome wonders...

Thanking the Creator ceaselessly makes life meaningful
especially treasuring with praise His gift of eternal deliverance
bringing security from sin-penalty's condemnation
toward triumphant soul-nurture and spiritual revival...

Being blessed by the Saviour is sure delight
since His presence is insured, even His ready guidance
with His wisdom for a victorious walk by faith that pleases Him
enabling the doing of what's right, exalting His name...

By being peacemakers, a worthy life we can optimize
as believers of the Lord, blissfully forgiven
while showing care midst woes' affliction
indeed sharing, overcoming selfishness...

Midst crises, a peace-filled life can abound
as we trust the great Provider Who satisfies our needs
He keeps His promises; every lack He supplies
along contentment that He alone can suffice...

Aware of fulfillment revolving around Christ's faithfulness
our best response is willing, obedient stewardship
to reach out to others with earnest compassion
following His example of humble servanthood...

Privileged to enjoy a fulfilled life is victory seal
marking our earnest ministry for the Master
whom He has bestowed with His Gospel story
to spread His love that someone may also have fullness* in Him!

*Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Autumn's song kindles the flame
    To set the leaves ablaze
Crimson glows and golden hues acclaim
The fervor that burns with autumn days
 It meanders to other domains
And lights the forest with beautiful refrains
A rhapsody of colors moves on high
As fire opal tints imbue the sky
The scene satisfies the soul's desire
Showing off the splendor of autumn's fire

O' Broken Heart, What Shall All This Now Bring

Burn away, festering skies filled with pain!
Cast forth burning embers onto the bleating flock!
Let loose, sky demons to purge this dark place
And flying beasts to punish all that complain!
Give vengeance over to its satisfying lusts,
And cheer those that in darkness aid and mock.

No saving dawn will cool this raging hot fire!
Nor calvary arrive in sweet time to save the flock!
Unchained beasts will eat happiness away
Replacing with torment, misery and sad pleas!
Give vengeance over to its satisfying lusts,
And cheer those that in darkness aid and mock.

O' sacred revenge, stab the innocence of tomorrow!
Send darkness and plagues to scorch this sad flock!
Let loose demons to destroy the young and weak
And dance upon death, deep pain and sweet sorrow!
Give vengeance over to its satisfying lusts,
And cheer those that in darkness aid and mock.

O' broken heart, what shall all this now bring!
Burning to death the innocent people of the flock!
Destroying sweet life and beauty of this place
How sad that this evil you now stoop to sing!
Giving in to vengeance to satisfy sad lusts,
And cheering those wretched that aid and mock.

May divine grace and mercy heal raging pain!
Cast forth burning love for sweet innocent flock!
Let loose, angels to heal and renew this place
And flying comforters to give mercy in his name!
Destroy this vengeance that satisfies your lusts,
Heal those that in darkness would aid and mock.

Note- Another oldie from my private journal.
Today just seemed a good day to openly post this.
I am always torn on sharing these private writes.
But the idea that its better to give than to receive
usually wins out..

The Bible

Since I began reading God's word
I've come to a definite conclusion
It doesn't matter what I've heard
It puts and end to all confusion

Everyone reads every now and then
For current events or just a good story line
Man has an insatiable appetite for sin
And such an ignorance of the Divine

The bible is mans handbook to godly living
It states his beginning as well as his end
Showing him blessings in the art of giving
As well as the price paid for his sin

It gives him a peace the world doesn't know
Shows him life from a godly perspective
Carries him places the flesh dare not go
In serving God who's jealous and protective

The bible shows man those things he's entitled to
Placing power in his hands
Man learns what he's assigned to do
And how to follow God's commands

It holds the answers to creation and death
Along with sin and salvation
How the soul was born from God's breath
And the establishment of the Earth's foundation

Let's us know what we must do to be saved
By pointing to Jesus the human sacrifice
It satisfies what the soul always craved
As well as the methods Satan uses to entice

The day when all isms are put to rest
A reward for those who have not budged
Though some set out in complete protest
They set themselves up to be judged

Read the bible for your own enrichment
You can't hold others liable
For God has a definite intent
And all this is in the bible

Jack loves to recline on his back
Especially when he's in the sack
He says to his bride
D’ya fancy a ride
She exclaims, your todger’s too slack!

Jack wanted to give her a thrill
So swallows a little blue pill
It works, way hey hey
They’re bonking all day
He’s happy and satisfies Jill
