Nothing unusual blossomed to welcome spring
But yet, we marvel at the growth
of the heart's resilience
~
In this early morning's half-lit hour
to watch her fondle the branch of sour fruit,
we see her smile,.....reassured....
It makes one's eyes sting
As if they were
burned by the fruit's tangy juice
~
He would have been pleased
to know three lovely lemons
survived in spite of winter's frost
She fills her pockets, with the fruit of their love

The sapling and the wood.. Steve Hudson
What would I tell my sons if my days were soon ending?
I would tell them:
Oh my dear precious sons
Our time on this earth is too short,
My eyes dim for a moment, only to brighten on larger frames,
With your heads on my chest, I embrace you, afraid of letting go,
Wanting to spare you from the world I left behind, with its terrors of the night,
Sometimes life will cut you down
You will feel like you can’t carry its burden
And hope may lose all definition
But find your heart in the face of doubt and uncertainty.
For you have a father who loves beyond measure
Here on earth, and in Heaven,
A father who will never stop fighting for you, believing for you
Pursue the one thing that makes you come alive
And be that to the world around you,
May Jesus Christ be the center and purpose of your very being.
For nothing on this earth will satisfy like the Bread of Life.
If you’re afraid, do it anyway,
And know that if its right, whatever happens because of it
Is worth the outcome.
Never lose the wonder of the first time,
Live with honor, valor and passion,
Be the men you want others to be
Walk in such a way, that they would not quickly try you,
Though such would quickly follow you to the end.
Know that I have done my best for you with what I had,
My hope is that it was enough.

Sadness sweeps the grove,
Withered trees hang their heads down;
Weeping tears of sap.

seed of love sprouted as
-
root of pain pierced young hearts.
Passionate stem is up.
Two soft tender leaves
trembled with eager heart beats
Ilsating romance.

I am but a tiny sapling
Growing on the side of the mountain
Freshly breaking new ground, hopeful for the warm embrace of the eastern sun
At first I was a seedling that rode from the western winds of a hurricane
My face dripped from Sea Breeze, like tears of joy
I got swept away, I flew
Higher than Hot Air Balloons
That are gigantic floating Chinese lanterns whose mouths are fuelled by a tongues ablaze
Incinerating
I Ride on the backs of Geese
Their steel like apparatus wings catches the prevailing winds
I nestle myself amongst the bed of sweet grasses
I lay awake at night listening to the howling wolves
Who cry for their unrequited lovers, they are four legged Shakespearean Artists.
I feel the cool trickle of the neighbor Glacier Lake that nourishes me, what the perfect welcoming
committee
I am but a tiny sapling
Growing on the side of a mountain
Watch in awe as I grow magnificiently

SUNFLOWER SAPLING
I am growing yellow blossoms, patina of petals shining golden.
My flowers silently smile to praise glowing Sun if not hidden
behind platoon of clouds, flowers seek sun rays till sunset.
Blooms gaily gaze moving heads as Sun roams slow from East to West.
Being in quest of sunbeam, bright or dim, flowers are smart to turn
heads throughout day always facing dazzling blazing shiny Sun.
Glossy glistening shy flowers are shaken by gentle mild breeze.
Me bathed by amorous shower or sun rays while zephyr tries to tease.
Blossoms are drooped, dried when my short life ends in one season.
Drones and bumble bees stick to withered blooms as seeds got ripen.

Personification
Restive young mind sunk in an urge of expression
mounted the romantic wings of a roaming butterfly,
flew in the garden touching the flowers of passion
the flight wrote poems with the air on the blue sky.
The aspirant mind adrift in secret search for an anchor
found the life with everything in the sight and sought,
built a ship for the life at sea to float and feel secure
the cruise couldn’t chart poems for the sailor forgot.
The reflecting senile mind in a dire desire to be alive
travels to the past across the present and the future,
plucks the memories not yet stale for time to wipe
and plants the sapling of poems for you to nurture.

A tender sapling -- delicate, frail
without support will often fail
Tied to a stake, it has a chance
to grow up straight, to firm its stance...
Oftentimes we judge a tree
by its leaves and stature
When roots trunk and branches
~ reveal its character

In a forest deep where shadows play,
Stood a wise old oak, strong and gray.
His branches stretched wide, a sheltering hand,
While young saplings danced in the sunlit land.
One day a storm brewed, fierce and loud,
The young saplings trembled, lost in the crowd.
“Help us, dear oak!” they cried in despair,
“For the winds are too strong, we cannot bear!”
The oak, with a sigh, spoke soft and slow,
“Fear not, little ones, let your roots grow.
In times of trouble, hold firm to the ground,
For strength is not just in size, but in how you’re bound.”
The storm raged on, but the oak stood tall,
While the saplings learned to bend, not fall.
When the winds finally ceased, and the sun broke through,
The saplings stood stronger, with a vibrant hue.
Years passed by, and the oak grew old,
The saplings now tall, their stories are now told.
They remembered the lesson, in the storm’s fierce looking face,
That true strength lies in unity, and the roots we place.
So in the heart of the forest, where shadows play,
The wise oak and saplings thrive to this day.
For every trial faced, they learned to stand,
Together they weathered, hand in hand.

Story of a sapling mom
A storm wind comes and throws the seed away;
The seed survives
Longs for the rain patiently
The sky one day bursts apart
The sun strikes making the rain drops shine as a pearl
The seedling ?? rises up proudly ,Faces the sky
Leaflets wide open
The Sunrays create the rainbow ?? and life find its way through the darkest times .
She was waiting
To be heard
To be where she belongs to
Be idealized
Be herself
Thrive just like the seedling.
