Dung On a Rung
Surly Sally slipped and lost a flip flop
at a hearty party in a bungalow with Billy.
while dancing and prancing to hip hop
whirling and twirling and spinning silly.

Can you reverse and remember the flop she flipped?
Well it ludicrously landed in the party punch bowl.
Nobody noticed while...

This Middle Rung
In ignorance, bliss!
This bottom rung,
we speak as we choose
and that gets the job done.

Yes, ignorance mired
in language unkempt-
the parlance of paupers,
ill-regarded, undreamt.

In tolerance, wise!
This highest rung-
we speak as the learned
and get the job done.

Where lofty words sing
amidst high-minded mind-
the old tongues of conflict,
new tongues now...

The Bell Has Rung!
As we stand on the threshold of a new era and the passing of the torch from a cloaked
government and into the hands of a fresh new one that does speak a promises that change
has come to the Whitehouse, let not your eyes...

Dream Rung
Produce flaw-make it show
I did not know the pinch.
Watch grow-less than absent: six pounds toward water,
mistaking me for the warmth of mothers.
Comfort swims obtuse-long running privilege and fathers.
May June daughters toss back hands with laughter.
If nothing matters I'm the complete backwards of notice to compare....

In the Franciscan Church,
These bells have rung,
As we speak in tongues
Tonight, we sing
To this ivory moon...

I met UFC and she courted me.
She made me wanna hit!
But I stood back from the ring,
Not battered, but better I became.

It's no life worth livin' to get
your bell rang.

Or worse, to punch a good man
to his death,

Just to get the gawkers to
sing...

LITTLE LUCY SAYS...

THE TOP OF THE RUNG

If you want to better yourself to climbing the corporate ladder,
They call it a promotion,
But if you reach the top of the ladder,
Would there be a reason to be any better?

It would be a lonely trek
across the icy slopes
and devil's crevasse
where only ghosts of the damned
dare to go.

I travelled day and night with little rest
broke bread with pica and marmots
listened to long faced mountain goats
telling tales of grizzled miners and
pulsing veins of fool's...
