In a rewind world, we could live without regret
if, as in a movie, we could do another take.
Erase the messed up scene and do a fresh reset,
and on the new recording, avoid that bad mistake.

No need to mend them all, but some of them we should:
some act that hurt someone, some words we can't take back.
We'd still learn the lessons; I hope that's understood,
if we could fix the times our judgment jumped the track.

Alas, a rewind world in truth we can forget.
We’ll have to do the best we can to set our errors straight,
admit our bad behavior, and live with some regret...
if not, more sleepless nights will likely be our fate.

Rewind Forward

“Rewind Forward”

Memory mirror
supple sylph yields
and naked
walks through liquid glass
towards your dark eyes
to float in black
legs wrapped
rapture drawn deep
unclothed into your arms
bathed bare
you climb my mountains
pull me in
your fingers coiled
tight and unforgiving
around my silken hair
mouth drawn to bare
omni amor libido
opalescent skin glistens
slow dance
silence listens
caught in time
elementals float in the aether
no walls no stairs no roads
bodies in rhythm rhyme -
in your dark mirrors
are all my blue skies -
dream duelling flames
tongues do not speak
they torch a burning blaze
there are no nights
there are no days
two flaming souls
deep dive
erotic waves
they read no maps
trysting in their lovely trap
Pantoums
each the other world
Phantom
opium kissed lips
repeat repetition
Ships lost at sea
in our ghost myst
a fierce longing
a holy confederacy
Kisses long and languid
Luscious long neck licks
Drink my life
Your need is met
my mead is sweet
and want is whet
Honey swallowed
lost in the love
love in the lost
trapped in the net
an open cave
doorway
where lush moss
waits wet
treasure found
treasure kept
sensual salty
her sea is met
pounds to your
foreign uncharted shore
two rare pearls
are free yet
bound and kept
on the other side
awake forever
with the never slept
hearts open
wounds bleeding
turn the key

"But oh! that deep romantic chasm which slanted
Down the green hill athwart a cedarn cover!
A savage place! as holy and enchanted
As e’er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover..."

Burlap and Satin Rewind

I’m awake by 6:00.
While stars shimmer
I jostle my husband
Who sleeps soundly
Upon dampened sheets.

Tom is burlap
While I am satin.
Wishing myself out
Of my cartoon pajamas
I struggle lifting his
Aged body from his bed.

My back aches
While I dress Tom
Thinking of those satin
Tahitian nights and
Playful lagoon floating
Over conch shells
With my handsome
Burlap man.

Slideshow memories
Of Satin and Burlap
Times stamped in my
Young 70-year old mind.

'Foggy' location seeds were from, curiosity won
Five months later, wanderer from roof tall trellis hung
Violet globe pods were bitter but oddly addictive
Several dozen daily dose, sour juice inflicted

Soon supplied smoothie zing, purple milk vibrant
Irresistible, the youth inducing effect they provided
A year after planting, I'd positively lost ten
Face entering wrinkle free twenties again!

Friends amazed by results of youth fruit blessed
After eighteen short months, I appeared adolescent
Freely sharing my vivacious treacherous discovery
From her desirable rewinding hand, no recovery

Benjamin Button's slow motion journey ridiculed
- My eight year old routinely tucks me into bed!!

Breaking the Lonely Rewind

"Breaking the Lonely Rewind"

Hysteria ensues a small death
on a funeral pyre pushed
into a sealed and soiled
heart shaped box sunk
to swallow stone tears
reversing reflections
in the coldest mirrors
Tsunami waves flood
all that was green

On the breaking shores
there the Lonely Rewind
is floating amidst The Shallows
resurfaced, cracked open and laid bare
her black treasures
boiling over inky interior
spilt darkly the soul
now sharp and split in two
a gift from the damned

walking out into the blistery wind
where sourness all around
whispers a soft war
of unclaimed, unwanted
forgotten voices,
The Lost and Lonely,
way past the end of their world,
where heartbreak is spurned
resurrect into burning birds

from the cold veined inferno,
The Silent Ocean of Reprieve

Lyrics:

"In order to rise from its own ashes, a phoenix first must burn." Butler

"She told me she’d be a phoenix.” The image of the mythical creature rising from the ashes glitters in my mind. “They don’t really exist.” “She said that depends on whether or not there’s someone who can see them." Picoult

"One does not need to be against womens suffrage," the London Times editorialized in 1908, "to see that some of the more violent partisans of that cause are suffering from hysteria. We use the word not with any scientific precision, but because it is the name most commonly given to a kind of enthusiasm that has degenerated into habitual nervous excitement."' Gilman

Rewind

Staring into fantasia towns store front windows....

Images within this the bleedings glass from behind?!

Psychedelic stories aneath these city blocks; tie-dye

Bricks in fairytales mortar made moments of dreamful

Lifes crumbling amid truths optical osmosis....

Sad songs playing now upon countless precious hearts

Sirens colours painted in realities red, white and blacks

Mix and match tears inside of such, their beautiful eyes

Tossed into the twisted wind; store front windows!?

Hey there Georgie Girl; notes, rising within their minds....

If Only Time Could Rewind

She's all alone in her mind.
If only time could rewind.
She cries herself to sleep.
All I see is her weep.
Memories haunt her as each day passes.
It's as though she only has dark colored glasses.
She longs to hold him in her arms.
For her there are no good luck charms.
The day he died she was left numb inside.
So all she could do was hide.
Will this nightmare ever end?
It is more than most can comprehend.
She's all alone in her mind.
If only time could rewind.

Rewind In Time

for years you spend your whole life trying to fiqure out everything that went wrong in your life .
inside your bright mind of unleft wisdom you have already known the answer to your question all along
stronger love is real its right infront of you when you already witnessed everyone infront of you all give up also they lost there hope.
my sad eyes cry cry cry rain drops of tommarows blue sad broken rain.
left here all alone on my
own dazzling into the unknown broken down angels
silent loud crys of tears i shed i will never understand the parents that put me here

outkasted was confused all those tears i shed of blue i see two lonley souls

searching for happiness along the shadowed burning loud train ride into hells fire
sad life of ace's i was thrown my eyes see i was saved all

along i already knew deep down my shallow heart, god threw me a stone , a blessing in a package i found real
love through a lil girl who only weighed 1 pound 7 ounces at birth today she is my love of the blowing trumphets as if they called today upon my grace.

Premium Member Tangerine Time Rewind

Rewind tender time, lost love on my mind,
Reverie - honeyed heart now bittersweet.
Tears etch love story’s want to be re-lined,
Melancholy's grayish-blues stain heartbeat.

My folly foolish forced your love away,
Soul music's woe pulses rued ruby room,
Flame and sorrow dance red-yellow ballet,
Kiss, blown-wistful to find you o'er the moon.

Echos; your voice sweet plucks hapless heartstrings,
Memories mourned vibrates vain violin.
Déjà vu moments’ medley’s bliss; wasp stings,
Penance.., tangerine time rewind again...

Letter Rewind

Bring yourself close to me,
And let it all go,
The memories and used to bes,
Now here to show,
Touch my skin,
Have your way,
Life within,
Down to lay,
I’ll hold you back,
And have yours too,
Our path won’t lack,
What others do.
Kiss my head,
Brush my cheek,
Little said,
Now the peak,
I’ll grab on tight,
One night; one chance,
The views; sight,
Just one more glance.
Take air; flight,
You have my hand,
You have my word,
Tattoo or band,
Our vision; to be understood; to be real; to be heard.

Premium Member If I Could Rewind Time

I sit amongst the lavender with thoughts of him
in his arms melting firmly in the moonlight dim.

His lips upon mine as my body would ignite;
my blushed face buried in his neck as he squeezed tight.

He did not need to tell me twice that he loved me,
for it was in his smile for all the world to see.

He was the bright skies that made me rise at sunrise,
the caring breath in my lungs that made the earth rise.

Thought of waking up without him terrifies me;
if I could rewind time to bring him back to me.

Rewind

Fill me with sand and turn me over
Create a black hole and let me jump
Make me Technicolor and press repeat
Or thin me into tape and select rewind
Send me back to this previous life
Let me relive what just happened
Or you can just kiss me again.
