I sit amongst the lavender with thoughts of him
in his arms melting firmly in the moonlight dim.
His lips upon mine as my body would ignite;
my blushed face buried in his neck as he squeezed tight.
He did not need to tell me twice that he loved me,
for it was in his smile for all the world to see.
He was the bright skies that made me rise at sunrise,
the caring breath in my lungs that made the earth rise.
Thought of waking up without him terrifies me;
if I could rewind time to bring him back to me.
